I went inside at 6:25 ish on Wed 16th went to buy a bottle of cider paid 11.93 gave a rude and unprofessional cashier 22.00,she appeared not to like my twoonie, wanted better change
I told her there's nothing wrong with giving a twoonie,she looked very annoyed grabbed the money then slapped a ten and slapped the chance and then slammed the till shut
Didn't need the Racism, Homophobia vibes from this woman so I slammed my hand down twice to pickup the money,left then came back to complain to the manager instead I get another employee who probably doesn't care and won't take my complaint serious anyway.As a person who doesn't drink I found this behavior unacceptable and unprofessional and plain rude!!
This happened at the Davie/Bute store.
On the plus side there's a very good and funny employee named Darrin who has always been nice and friendly to everyone 👏👏😀

On the 28th October in anticipation of Halloween I visited my local BC Liquor store (BCL Store #8, Brentwood Bay) and purchased a box of Black Cellar Malbec - Merlot wine (owned by Andrew Peller Ltd).

Upon opening the wine for my guests I noticed that the wine was contaminated with black sludge and undrinkable. I wrote to BCL and Andrew Peller Ltd (APL) and attached images of the box, bar code and of the contents showing the ‘black sludge (inner plastic bag).

I received a very kind and professional reply from APL who informed me that the wine was past its recommended shelf life unlike wine in glass bottles, wine in 'boxes' has a defined and quite short shelf life. I was further (correctly) advised by APL that it was "the BCL stores responsibility to monitor and maintain their wine stock". This BC Liquor had clearly not done.

I have also written to BCL but as yet have not had the courtesy of a reply.
