My experience with Betfred I can't say anything bad cause sometimes I win sometimes i don't they do some good freebies every now and then they have a good wide range of things like bingo slots Casio and obviously place bets on various of sports it's easy to register and they offer good discount things on first deposit I highly recommend Betfred over any other online gambling you won't be disappointed
Not happy don't win nothing and I get text messages that say I have free spins and £5 bonus on certain games and yet nothing why send me texts at all. Disappointing!
Saturday is my main day for a flutter, I was checking my results, and balance late Saturday night. Balance showed 0.55p, but I’d had a reasonable day, thought perhaps another glitch on the Betfred app, and would check first thing in the morning. This I did, but my account was restricted, and I couldn’t sign in. I contacted Betfred via a “live chat” with an agent, this took a thirty minute wait, I explained that my account was restricted, and that my balance was incorrect. The agent checked and accused me of using a vpn the night before, which is against their T&C’s. I explained that I hadn’t, but he said he’d passed it onto the support team, who would contact me via e-mail within 24 hour, and cut the chat off. This wasn’t satisfactory, I had concerns that I had been hacked, so back in the queue for another “live chat” again a thirty minute wait, then explained again to another agent, who merely said that it had been passed onto the support team, and cut me off! Three or four hours later, I received an e-mail from the support team “your account is unblocked, but if you use a vpn again your account may be closed permanently! I wrote long response again explaining that I hadn’t used a vpn, but thirty minutes later it got kicked back, they don’t accept e-mails apparently. I found a telephone number but this was for shop customers only, it gave another number for online users, but on calling, an automated voice stated that phone calls were not accepted, and online customers had to use live chat! So, back again, thirty minutes later wait, explained once more, the agent said “what do you mean your balance isn’t correct” I advised him to check my bets from Saturday, and that I had had a reasonable day, the balance was way light. The agent went off, then came back saying that “we can see that you were playing roulette last night” eh, no, that wasn’t me, never touched online casino, with that, the agent disappeared for five minutes, came back, and said “your account is closed, tell your bank and the police, goodbye” Wow, I’ve been a loyal customer for twenty odd years, and that’s the way you get treated, I’d lost my money, been hacked, and they callously just close the account like that! Happy to take your money, but if you want any customer care, forget it, be warned! Accessible and quick contact is essential in such cases, a quick phone call could have resolved it, the agents on live chat failed to grasp the situation, and it was half a day wasted on my part.

Just been on their chat again, they closed my account.
NO notification, no sending my funds in my account back.
And then get the guy on chat say, I can let you have your funds.

ABSOLUTE SCAM of a WEBSITE.
I like the sports machine in Betfred (shop), four times out of five the odds the same or better than other sports machines in high st shops... Free cup of coffee, water, tea... We definitely need to keep the high street shops, maybe 40,% of the time better odds than the internet, I had about plus 100 bets last season (football)( I don't play slots roulette so I can't comment on that variety of gambling)...

Following on from my previous review I am absolutely appalled to be told today that the £180 i won last week and was told twice on live chat that my money was being sent via bank transfer only to be told today that this £180 plus another £180 I won today has only been requested today and could take 5 days to go through to my bank. I am absolutely disgusted by the lies I have been told about the money I won last week. They kept telling me it is my banks fault. 3 times I phoned my bank and 3 times they assured me thst they would not reject a credit going into my bank. If it were the bank as Betfred keeps saying then why did part of my winnings go into my bank today without any problem at all. Customer service is absolutely appalling you can't even get them by phone. Its live chat texting back and forth. So I am now down £360 and told it could take 5 days before I get it. Shameful. I will ensure that this goes to the press now. Holding on to people's money. Disgusting.

I have issues with my free bets for my opening bet so I waited around an hour to speak to someone to then be advised to contact them back when the opening bet had settled which i did then after that I contacted the live chat again to then have the chat ended on me several times! By several times I’m talking 4/5 times! Whilst each time having to wait in a queue to then be hung up on again! Eventually someone has says they are going to help and I should receive an email with a response to my concern within 24 hours which I’m not confident about at all! - update - still not received an email and keep getting hung up on ridiculous service!

Customer Service needs to be honest about their failings with their app and website accessibility.
This prevents customers from promotion offers being accessed completely, causing undue stress and frustration.
Had a problem with a new customer offer so I asked to raise a complaint, rather than deal with the complaint the agent deactivated my account so they wouldn't have to deal with it. Absolutely disgusting behaviour, how is that even legal?

Also when depositing.. it never shows the deposit has gone threw even when i click a game.. go to spin says insufficient funds.. deposit again and boom the original deposit shows resulting in the site taking 2 deposits. Another scam to take more.
Very good value for money and money
BetFred are sponsoring the Oaks and Derby today and tomorrow but don’t run away with the idea what a great Bookmaker there are because they are rubbish.
This company does not have a Complaints procedure, the only option you have is via their Chat Room and you can wait for an hour before being cut-off.
My complaint is a golf bet in running when I wasted to back an outsider with place terms of 1/5th the odds first 3 places, but came back offering me 1/3 odds and only two places asking if I wanted the bet which I certainly did not but automatically took the bet.
The Chat Room advised me that nothing could be done as I placed the bet, sorry I did not place the bet.
Instead of spending the money of all the Champagne please refund my tenner,,,,,,,
