Think more what else is necessary to use goods

Well, at first I don‘t understand people that highlight the low prices thus claiming poor quality.
Thats a stupid attitude - you get what you pay for - thats a fact !
I rather write this review in order to improve the shops performance.
For example I bought a few 400V outlets (sockets) and hoped to find a fitting choke adapter for 14mm cabel.
I found only PG 16 offered as pair.
The requirered choke would be 25mm - but they don‘t have it ..
The same applies to the fitting drills for thread taps in normal sizes like M2 to M12. ..e.g. a 4,2mm drill for an M5 or a 6,8mm for a M8 thread.. etc..
There are none for sale - that is also stupid!!
I just would like to expect more expertise in the group of specialist buyers within Biltemas goods of offer - they appear to have no idea what handcrafters need in detail…

Avoid at all costs

Living in Sweden 2 years now. Put Biltema on our blacklist, but was still tempted by the prices a few times. Was reminded each time why they're on the blacklist. Absolutely horrendous quality. Probably best choice if you need something only once and then throw away, because that's what you'll have to do anyway. The latest: my bicycle (which I've had to repair 5 times in the last 2 years, as opposed to twice in 20 years with my Dutch bike) has a saddle which I've now realised is the cause of 4 pairs of pants needing to go into the garbage. Some wear from cycling is to be expected, but my pants wear in an unusual place. Turns put that the bracket part of the saddle to give it strength is wider than the saddle itself, which means you'll constantly rub against this bare metal, ruining your pants.

Fake Trial Promise and Humiliating Customer Service”

Unfortunately, my experience with Biltema Partille was very disappointing and frustrating.

I purchased a bicycle that was presented as brand new, and the employee told me I had a one-month trial period. After just a few days of normal use, the bike started having serious mechanical issues, putting me at risk while riding.

When I returned to the store, they refused to exchange the bike, even though I was still within the trial period. They insisted on repairing it instead, despite the fact that I clearly stated I wanted to replace it with a new one of my own choosing.

What’s worse is how the staff treated me — I have video evidence of how they humiliate customers who don’t speak fluent Swedish.

Their behavior was disrespectful, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. They misled me about the product and ignored my rights as a customer.

I’m currently preparing a formal complaint to Konsumentverket (the Swedish Consumer Agency) and ARN.

I strongly advise others — especially non-Swedish speakers — to be extremely cautious before buying anything from this branch. Don’t trust their verbal guarantees.

Utterly useless.

No option of choosing your location anywhere on the site. It simply presumes you are where it thinks you are and you will only get the status of items from that physical location. Utterly useless.

I’ve been a loyal Biltema Helsinborg…

I’ve been a loyal Biltema Helsinborg customer for years, but I'm done. Their products have become garbage — everything from water boilers to other items break far too quickly. On the two occasions I actually had the receipts and tried to return defective products, the staff were rude and disrespectful, accusing me of breaking the items myself. This is completely unacceptable. Biltema clearly doesn’t care about product quality or customer satisfaction anymore. I won’t be wasting my money there again, and I suggest others think twice before shopping at Biltema.

Unprofessional Employees

I went to Biltema Sandnes, Rogaland. Their behaviour is rude and completely unprofessional. Worst store I visited ever. Biltema should not consider people with that attitude while hiring. I faced it several times and stopped buying from Biltema.

we bought 13000sek of snow blower, as soon as we opened it we realized that it was faulty, a crooked welded metal plate made it unusable.
We showed up at the Lulea shop 4 hours after purchase for the replacement but instead of replacing it they put it in for repair.
When I asked them how much time the verification would take, they replied that they don't know and can't predict it.
Returned immediately, I don't want it anymore and I won't buy anything from biltema again

Really bad attitude food tastes like…

Really bad attitude food tastes like rubber and very greasy. Doesn't use gloves when handling food. There is a lot of food options but not worth your money. Will never eat here again.
More welcoming at mc Donalds than here.

Irresponsible behavior of customer service

I bought a mouse for my laptop and returned it. Biltema was supposed to refund within a month. One month is passed and no money from Biltema in my account. I contacted the customer service and I was told that must go to Backaplan in Göteborg to solve the problem. Ridiculous! I have to pay for the transportation to Backaplan to get back 200 SEK. Is that your customer service?!

Oasis for car trips.

Are the tools made from chinesium? You bet! But there is not a better store to have nearby when your car breaks down during a 2000 km trip. You can find anything and everything to fix your car in the parking lot of Biltema.

And from my experience the customer service is up there with the rest. Just be kind and you will be treated well.

Factory Models alone/incomprehensible English/120 Kg weight limit is pathetic.

I contacted BIltma to find out if the would let me pay more for them to put a more basic gearing system in a more expensive frame. NO - was the flat out answer. No consideration to the fact that I would be paying extra for the custom bike. I had to accept one of their factory designs.

And when you have an international customer base - maybe you should employ people who answer your phones who can speak English.

Then their is their 120 Kg limit - on a bike - and it seems to be on all their bikes - this is pathetic.

Extremely poor quality and service, never again

Bought a bike, it bent and the only explanation why it couldnt be traded in via warranty was that it was my own doing, im a normal-sized male and the fram bent. I even asked the salesperson wether or not the bike would suit me and she said yes. NEVER AGAIN

Customer service is a hit and miss

Customer service is a hit and miss. The products can be ok, depending on what you purchase. I recently bought a mini air-compressor and it failed at the worst possible time. I took it back and they gave me a new air hose for the one that burst only to have the new hose burst again in the exact same place.

BILTEMA in LULEÅ

BILTEMA in LULEÅ. Besides the shop it has affordable cafe place as a extra bonus which I like with this place. (Compared to Stockholm this is really peaceful place.)

Compared to the specific shops this is all-around shop for getting the fairly high quality stuff with affordable price. Cant get everything, however if you are handyman with things and can repair things, then you have mostly everything you need for your household and car-motorcycle and bicycle repairs.

The negative side is that the small details like screws-bults and nuts are very expensive and many things like LED lamps are 70SEK which ordering from china cost 10SEK, so most of the items have to be ordered to Finland, instead of Sweden. ;-)
