Highly recommend Blue Sky guttering

Highly recommend Blue Sky guttering. Dennis came out today and cleared the guttering, removed and put back cleaned air vents. He was very polite and hard working and just got on with the job.
Always use this company as you can trust them.

No support or communications after failed repair job

I had my gutters repaired by Blue Sky Guttering, and shortly after, damp started appearing inside my property exactly where they worked. Their engineer had assured me the repair came with a 12-month guarantee, but when I reported the issue, they refused to fix it without charging extra, claiming other sections needed work. I had to hire roofers urgently to prevent more damage due to incoming rain, which was completely avoidable if they had done the job properly. Their poor communication and unwillingness to honor their guarantee are unacceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

EDIT: I have seen there “reply”. They ignored my email for TWO WEEKS before replying. Completely unacceptable

This customer paid for an empty and 1 repair which was carried out, the customer was advised that there were more repairs needed in this and other areas, the customer informed us he would get back to us.

Note from the job on the day,

Empty front
Maybe in the future more repairs to the front as joints doesn’t look good but customer will get back to us regarding it.

Rear
One section of gutter dipped due to two clippers missing. Two new clips installed and gutter bit lifted up.

We did the job we were called out to do and advised the customer that more work was needed, customer didn't come back to us for further quotations.

50/50 experience

We approached Blue Sky and asked for our gutters to be cleaned. We also had some leaks so agreed to their emptying and repair service at a cost of £336 inc VAT. I would like to stress that we have no problem with the work that was actually done, the gutters and downpipe were full of moss and they were emptied and the debris taken away. However we didn't need any repairs, the guy just realigned the gutter in a couple of places. We emailed Blue Sky for a reduction in the cost as no repairs were necessary, they did not even respond to the question, just sent an invoice. On the phone they said we chose the option for repair so even if none needed we had to pay in full. Seems grossly unfair. Also they do not wipe the guttering down so no actual cleaning takes place, it is emptying. I think the description on their website as 'gutter cleaning' is a bit misleading and if a customer asks for cleaning they should clarify the outside of the guttering will not be cleaned.

Gutter Maintenance

Very professional service

Very professional service. I needed gutter repair and cleaning. The engineers told use exactly what they were doing to address the repair as the gutter was not a standard type. The repair was carried out and gutters cleaned. It has since rained and the gutter has not leaked at all. Would highly recommend this company; friendly service with a guarantee on work carried out.

Failed gutter repair - damaged my house!

Booked a clean & repair of gutters May 22. When rain came in early Autumn it poured in to my house in the exact place where repair should have happened. Called to complain and was given an appointment at the end of December! Repair was finally done and guy admitted he had forgotten to seal the pipes and joint. I contacted office to report subsequent water damage to interior walls and window cill, allegedly work was covered by guarantee. Was fobbed off for months by the director Sean who eventually refused to accept liability. This company was found fraudulently using trusted trade endorsement.

Very Professional – No Job Too Small

My Gutter had become detached from the downpipe, - so it was a small job to get fixed. However, as the building is 4 stories high, getting anyone to take on the job became very difficult, and as soon as I sent photo’s of the job to perspective companies, - I heard nothing back.

Thankfully, - Blue Sky Guttering took on the job and a completive/fair rate. I wasn’t at the property myself, as I rent it out, - but the had it fixed the next day and e-mailed me photos of them carrying out the job.

Really satisfied with this company and would highly recommend.

I never thought that they would be able …Brilliant

I never thought that they would be able to get to the blockage of weeds ,plants and moss in the corner of my conservatory guttering ,but they did ! Even removed moss for the roof glass.My garage used to leak,but not since Bluesky have been and over my front door was like a torrent but that's gone as well. The men were polite and careful.Think I will have it done once a year.I have reccomended to several neighbours
