Beyond scummy

Like many others who have written reviews of this bank, I received a loanpromise from this bank. I then proceeded to find an apartment and was about to sign the contract which the bank had promised me, only for them to change the terms one day before signing. The new terms were that I give them a guarantee from my job site that I would be working there for x amount of time. I then gave them exactly that, exactly what they asked for, a guarantee for the amount of time they had asked for, only for them to then threaten to not give me the loan unless for a raised interest rate. They broke their promise, and then changed terms as I gave them literally exactly what they asked for. Do not use this garbage bank, they are a fraud. Most of the positive reviews are definitely plants from the bank, as the negative reviews seem to closely resemble my experience, showing they don’t learn from their shitty past. Do not use this piece of shit garbage bank. I will be telling all of my friends to avoid this scam, as we are all at the age of buying our first properties. I suggest you do the same.

A loan promise (pre-approval) is not the same as having a mortgage fully approved. Therefore, it is important not to sign a purchase agreement before the loan has been finally approved. The reason we sometimes need to request additional documentation is to ensure safe and sustainable lending for both new and existing customers.
From the time a loan promise is issued until a mortgage is finally approved, the interest rate we can offer may change. This can be due to changes in the interest rate environment as well as other factors that affect the credit assessment. Our ambition is always to offer the best possible rate based on the conditions at the time.
We would also like to be clear that neither we nor any other bank benefits from processing a mortgage application only to later decline the loan. Our focus is on approving loans that are sustainable and responsible for both the bank and the customer.
You are of course entitled to your opinion, just as our satisfied customers are entitled to theirs. We have many customers who appreciate our process and service, which we are very happy about. At the same time, we always listen to criticism so that we can continue to improve and serve even more satisfied customers, but without compromising the credit processes that are in place to ensure responsible lending for all our customers.

My Worst Experience. Period.

This bank is probabIy the worst bank I have ever dealt with in terms of customer service. They are slow with everything and very rigid. There is no room for flexibility.

I have given this bank more documents than I have ever given to any organization in my life, including the Government!! And yet they still ask for more documents!! This is in addition to all the standard information they get about you like credit checks, payslips, etc.

More than 3 weeks after I made my application, this Bank was still asking for documents and had not even verifed my income. After 3 weeks!!

The account manager does not seem to have any idea of what he is doing. His level of nonchalance is ridiculous. He is not able to properly answer any questions you have which leaves you very dissatisfied. I have no idea how he got this job.

This Bank will take every bit of information about your personal life. They will take all the time in world and they will not give you answers that make sense. And in the end they can deny your application based on things you dont understand as no one will explain it to you.

I am so happy to hear that other people have had a similar experience with Bluestep Bank.

I will withdraw my application and go somewhere else.

I advise everyone to do the same if they have a choice.

Worse bank

In January, I received a loanpromise for the purchase of the apartment, after three months i.e. two days before the main contract from no where I got rejection of the loan promise. I canceled my acess date and now Im taking the consequences. This bank is really crazy and unresponsible. Even they are not updating their claim phone number 08 50 92 42 37 on the website.

Really bad costumer service and extremly long !!

Impossible to get anything done with this bank and super difficult to transfer money from the bank. If you plan to place your savings here - DONT! Find another bank.
They have no costumer support that is woth mentioning. Will never ever recomend this bank to anyone.

It is correct that we generally have a slightly higher mortgage rate than traditional banks. This is because we can accept a complex credit history, payment defaults as well as other forms of income and forms of employment.
