Heed warning
After recently concluding my relationship with Bokadirekt, I wanted to share some honest feedback for other small business owners considering the platform.
My disappointment is not with the individuals I dealt with—every customer service representative I spoke to was polite, professional, and genuinely pleasant. The issue was the lack of meaningful support and resolution when I needed it most.
As a Premium subscriber, I spent weeks attempting to get guidance on how to make the platform work for my business. Despite numerous phone calls, emails, chatbot conversations, and requests for assistance, it was extremely difficult to access timely support or receive practical help. Ultimately, after months of trying, I concluded that the platform was not the right fit for my business.
What followed was an extended cancellation process involving long delays, communication difficulties, confusion around contract terms, and significant effort on my part simply to reach the right people and have my concerns properly reviewed.
To Bokadirekt's credit, management eventually reviewed my case and offered a compromise regarding the remaining contract period. I appreciate that effort. However, the overall customer experience left me feeling that customer retention was prioritised over customer success.
My advice to other business owners is simple: before signing up, make sure you fully understand the contract terms, including any binding periods, and be confident that the platform is the right fit for your business model. Equally important, consider what level of support you may need if things do not work as expected.
I share this feedback not out of bitterness, but in the hope that it helps future business owners make informed decisions and encourages greater focus on customer experience and support.
