BANNED AFTER SPENDING 700 EUR

I have worked for weeks on a project and spent over 700EUR. Just wake up to a banned account onde day, no explanation, nothing, just unable to log into the account.
When contacted Customer Support, they've just told me that i violated their therms, nothing else.
My project was perfectly legit, nothing illigal or immoral.
They didn't even allow me to download my files, and when asked to refund my money no one answers anymore.

Very disappointing support despite paid Pro subscription

I am currently on a paid Bolt Pro subscription, but my experience with customer support has been extremely disappointing.

Since 09.06.2026, and as of today (22.06.2026), I have been waiting for a response regarding a serious issue with one of my projects. My original project got stuck on “Thinking...” after Bolt was working on SEO metadata, pre-rendered HTML files, redirects, and Netlify deployment configuration for my published website.

Because of this issue, I was not able to continue implementing the SEO metadata, pre-rendered HTML files, redirects, and Netlify deployment configuration. I am now afraid to try again, because the last time I attempted this, the project became blocked and I had to recover the last working version from the version history.

This is not a minor issue, as the project is connected to my live website and I needed clear guidance on whether the changes were saved and how to safely continue without risking the existing code.

Despite being a paying customer, I have received no response at all or solution so far. For a Pro subscription, this level of support is simply not acceptable and, in my opinion, unacceptable.

Lack of support since May

Im waiting over a week now for a support update, since May the updated standard and max ai usage since then I have issues fixing things if one thing is fixed another thing is broken driving in circles eating up my tokens something not right, why is that happening and did anyone else experience any issues with support now?

I've had a really positive experience with Bolt.

Like any AI development platform, it's not perfect and there have been times where I've had to guide it back on track, but overall it has allowed me to build things that I simply wouldn't have been able to build otherwise.

What stands out most for me is the speed. Ideas that would normally take weeks or months can be turned into working features incredibly quickly. It's also helped me learn a huge amount along the way.

I've also found the support team to be excellent. On the occasions where I've had issues, they've been responsive, fair and willing to help. Where compensation was appropriate, they sorted it out without any drama.

I think a lot of negative reviews come from people expecting AI to be completely hands-off. In my experience, the best results come when you treat Bolt as a powerful tool and work with it rather than expecting it to do absolutely everything for you.

For me it's been worth every penny and has opened doors that simply weren't available before.

Highly recommended.

disappointing experience

I subscribed to Bolt.new expecting to build a functional app, but most of my tokens were consumed trying to fix repeated issues. Despite spending a large amount of tokens, I never obtained a working application. The experience was frustrating and did not justify the subscription cost. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the service based on my experience.

Burned my money without result

Gave it a simple project at first, which went okay but got me into subscription. Then gave it a more complex prompt. It was burning through 1/4 of the monthly tokens to build an empty folder. Repeated this 3 times with no result at all.
I contacted support to ask for a token refund but never got an answer.
So on simple projects it might work, but if anything goes wrong, you and your money are lost.
I will use the little rest of the tokens and then unsubscribe. Don't fall for them!

Lots of errors and no support

It worked quite well at the beginning while I was building my website but then the errors started and I coundn't use the service anymore, support was very slow, took more than a month to reply and didn't solve the problem. Then more issues came up but nobody is helping to resolve them while I am still being charged the monthly fee.

The ai constantly crashes

The ai constantly crashes, the ai tookens are too small, the user tokens are gobbled up faster than a starving pirranha. You project will be trashed lots of times due to the bad interface / ai - so 70% of your tokens are used getting the ai to repair the problems it caused.
Helpful advice - ge t another ai to give you better prompts but don't oveload bolt - it will kill your project.
Good job iI actually downloaded zip file of the code a week before major issues kicked in but then the reall problems started - bolt didn.t like some tsx file bigger than 10k without a frsh browser / full ai tokens - it went off hallucinating thinking it was replicating modals but failed miserably. Verdict - Nothing complex, you'll be ok ( 1 page - lol )

useless

Their AI moderated user studies on the Respondent platform are terrible. I spend 20-30 mins on a study, following instructions, giving great feedback, only to be presented by Bolt AI with a "failed to complete" message. Wastes my time and I don't even get paid for my efforts. Any company using Bolt AI will have customer service headaches for sure.

Done with Stackblitz / Bolt.new

Done.

After more than 1.5 ditching $$$ into that company, I've finally called it quits.

Never have I seen such a case-scenario of quashed potential between a tech-team and their business practices. It really goes to show you the inner soul of those at the helm.
Greed.

Bolt's tech is promising. Its business practices aren't.

Bolt's removed the ability to top-up tokens, preferring to entrap its user-base in a constant cycle of account-upgrade.
All it needed to do was to increase the token-price for top-ups - letting us decide whether it was worth it, when in a pinch.

I was planning to dump 500-1000 eur/month soon with them. I'm now left to look for another provider with a more sensible business model - and they will get my business, 100%.

Scam -avoid

I paid for the service from bolt.nem and instead received only a demo application that did not match what was promised. The delivery felt misleading and far below expectations. Despite requesting a proper working solution, I only got a basic demo with no real value. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service.SCAM

This company is commiting fraud on a…

This company is commiting fraud on a grand scale. The AI is purposely set up to gas light you and to not do the code properly making out it doesn't understand any simple instructions whilst it empties all of the credits you have paid for and then says it can't help you until you buy tons more credit. Some robbing AH is just sat there filling his bank account with stolen money. If you register and pay them any money use a credit card and then you can start a fraud case against them.I hope they get arrested. I have filmed the reactions of the Ai and how it was stealing my money and the evidence is with my banks fraud department.

This is tool keeps breaking, disconnecting, issue after issue. When you think its done and complete, it breaks again. It wont connect to the database. Its a nightmare. Move to another ai because this one doesnt work.
