I had given up after multiple edits on my own .British book publishers development editor asked questions that reignited my interest in the story. The conversation brought my novel back to life.
Everything! Do not trust these buggers because any amount of money you send, thinking that you will get a service will end up with losing all your money. They didn't like what one of their own employees agreed with me for a fee of £1,500 simply for publishing a book that was already professionally edited and with a ready-made cover. So, they stopped communicating, took my money, which amounted to two month's pension and stopped there. They are legalised thieves. Do Not Trust them.
The ratings are not to be taken seriously because many institutions that give the ratings would not want to lose a client, so they have a tendency to side with them.
I'm thrilled with the final product. The book look great, and the quality of the print is superb.
