I had a great experience with Dr. Abraham Rodriguez during my six sessions of shockwave therapy for bicep tendonitis in my shoulder. From the beginning, he was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the treatment and answer all of my questions.

Throughout the six sessions, he was attentive to my progress and made sure I was comfortable during each treatment. After the first couple of sessions, I noticed significant improvement in my shoulder pain. Weeks after my last shockwave session, I have no pain, I have been able to sleep better, stay more active and overall have a better quality of life. I truly appreciate his expertise, patience, and dedication to helping me feel better. I would definitely recommend him to anyone dealing with similar shoulder pain or looking into shockwave therapy.

Dr. Abraham is such a gift of health and kindness! I had researched an alternative to a nerve ablation that was suggested for my four year old MCL strain that never seem to heal. I did physical therapy, had acupuncture and active release therapy. All therapists are top in their fields. This was my last hope. I did 12 sessions. It doesn't hurt much anymore! I also have a lot of scar tissue above my knee from a 6 yr old knee replacement. Looking forward to targeting that in a little while. Dr. Abraham, also a trained surgeon, wants to give that area a little break. He is now working on the bottom of my foot. He is such a pleasure to be around...I never feel rushed :) His office staff is super cool too!

Pairing the shockwave therapy with physical therapy has dramatically improved my mobility and given me a new lease on life. If you've been struggling with chronic pain and haven't found lasting relief, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Rodriguez and his focused extracorporeal shockwave therapy.

When first starting the shockwave therapy. It was somewhat painful, but you could tell where the problem areas were. From the first visit, the next day I could tell that there was improvement. Each time I had the treatment done I could feel more and more improvement. Now I have more mobility than I’ve had in six years. Definitely worth it.

Shockwave therapy has truly been a breakthrough in my recovery and feels like it’s at the cutting edge of real healing. I’ve struggled with plantar fasciitis for over a decade and have tried everything—visiting podiatrists and physical therapists, investing in special shoes, going to the Good Feet Store, and even spending $600 on custom insoles. Dr Rodriguez thoroughly discussed with me how the shockwave works on my bilateral shoulder injuries , I did total of 9 sessions on both shoulders and the result is amazing It increase The mobility of my arms, pain is lesser and I was able to sleep more compare before shockwave . The care team is great there. They are really accommodating in all ways. Dr. Bullock and Dr. Abe spend more than 30 minutes with you which is so rare these days. They have comprehensive knowledge, and intuitive treatment which really addresses your illness in a variety of ways. The admin staff are amazing and kind. Many people I know are super satisfied with the care.

The Shockwave treatment has significantly reduced the frequency, intensity, and duration of my back pain.

I'd heard of Shockwave for kidney stones, but wasn't sure how it would work on my painful shoulder. Would I have to sit in a tub of water like the kidney stone treatments, or would the Shockwave therapy give me the curly hair that mother nature had denied me? I liked the idea of a non-invasive treatment (in a dry environment). The pain was up to a 7, and was interfering with my sleep. Even sleeping on my back or other side was painful. Some days I couldn't pick up a mug of coffee. I walk with a cane in my right hand, so walking became difficult. After 3 visits the pain had decreased to a 5, but I had to have a non-related surgery, so I restarted therapy several weeks later and have now completed 6 therapy sessions after the restart. I still don't have curly hair, but my shoulder pain is almost gone, and I can even sleep on my right side again! The office staff have been pleasant and friendly, and always work with me to schedule appointments that avoid rush-hour traffic.

I suffered from severe left hip pain for many years. Nothing was making it better. I tried medications, physical therapy, ice, heat, massage, and more. I did not want steroid injections, so I tried shockwave therapy with Dr. Abraham Hafiz Rodriguez at California Shockwave in Redwood City, and now I am almost completely pain free in my left hip. Most days I have no pain at all in my left hip now, and even when I do have pain, it is rare and it is only a very small amount of pain, so I do not even take pain medications for my left hip anymore. All conventional treatments had failed to improve the pain on my wrist. I was always on pain, my daily activities were limited due to the chronic pain having shockwave therapy was the best decision my pain and mobility where vastly improved .The session itself can be uncomfortable but the results are amazing.
