Canva is easy to use
Canva is easy to use, once you get the hang of it. Having Ai is a bonus. Have help 24/7. Just amazing. Love it. I shall become a pro member once my trial is over. Thank you Canva

The AI chat help is useless. I could not get any relevant answers to my technical questions
SIMPLE UPDATES ARE A NIGHTMARE FOR PERSONAL INFO
Canva offers a robust platform, but there is no reasonably accessible customer service. Not sure if there is enough room to outline all of what I went though but it felt like dealing with a very toxic relationship. I simply need to update the email address for my paid subscription because I can't access the old email address. I wasted an entire morning on my day off and have gotten ZERO help with something so simple...just needed to update my email. It should never be so difficult to simply update our own information. Went rounds with AI chat and then a chat agent only to be sent a link to schedule a call for 2 days later on MOTHER'S DAY. I also would not have another chance to deal with this for another 2 weeks after that... also on a day off. Updating personal information should be as simple as going in and updating it and verifying it. WHAT A NIGHTMARE...and still NOT resolved. The frustrations on this are completely unnecessary...it feels like intentional gaslighting and it is abuse of clients, especially paying clients. was able to change all my accounts accept this one, without the nightmare.
I refuse to use AI
I refuse to use AI. I did not release this app was AI.
Taking jobs away from so many.
Using extraordinary amounts of water while most of our country is in a DROUGHT.
Huge pros, Huge cons.
Pros: I love the "regular user" ethos, bringing a friendly interface and the ability to control many design elements both precisely and easily. Photo and graphic element libraries are well stocked, and the ability to export designs as standard format videos and slide decks is hugely helpful. These make Canva a great tool for a limited set of uses. The downsides, though, are significant. The internal AI tool is limited. But most importantly, the inability to export elements in print resolution is inexplicable; the only way to do a print job well is to use Canva's internal print process and proprietary tools. No option to export designs in .ai format.Even if you download a design as an allegedly print-ready proof, your printshop has to do a ton of work to get it print ready. Otherwise colors can be weird and graphics, images, and text are blurry-- even on small biz cards or small graphics, like a logo, dropped in 8-1/2 x 11 handouts. Forget about large-format products altogether. Canva's internal print process works beautifully, but they don't offer all the print products you may need (and regardless, sometimes you want to support a great local printshop that's done terrific work for you for years). I don't like having to be locked in to a proprietary design ecosystem that insists we use its tools and doesn't respect the impracticality of expectating multicollaborator, multicompany teams to stop using tools familiar to and owned by them all and start using unfamiliar tools with less functionality, lower quality, and limited ability to repurpose.
Good, but not for wedding programs
Let me specify, as shown in the title, this is a review of Canva on *wedding programs.* I would rate it higher with regard to other sorts of design and printing.
I have the honor of officiating my son's wedding, and I volunteered to design the wedding service program and pay for the printing. A quick Google search showed me that Canva and The Knot were the two most used sources. I sent some templates from each site to my son and future daughter-in-law, and they chose a Canva template. I entered the information there, finding it user-friendly and having little difficulty. I also appreciated that I could rush shipping for only $8.
Boy, am I glad I rushed shipping! The programs arrived exactly two weeks before the service, and they were *the size of a full sheet of paper*! It was like holding a restaurant menu. I immediately got on chat and connected with a live agent without too much difficulty. The person was helpful and even gave me a credit for express shipping, because I needed to redesign in even more of a hurry than I was the first time.
I was able to use the same template and get a better size, with two difficulties: 1) I had to sign up for a 30-day free trial to resize the program. That's lame. 2) I had to work with the AI a fair amount to find a size that's actually printable. The relatively common 5.5 x 8.5 size, for some reason, was not printable.
I finished all this in under an hour, so not bad. I have little doubt that the programs will arrive as planned and will be what I wanted.
But here's the issue: I'm fifty years old and have been to plenty of weddings. In what universe would wedding guests want to be handed a card the size of a restaurant menu? I'm laughing just thinking about it. "Welcome to this joyful, dignified ceremony. Here's your menu." How is that possibly the default size for their wedding program template?
Whether you're creating a program for a church service-like wedding or just want to give guests a rundown of the day's events on a program, I have little doubt you'll want something smaller.
The second issue is that, in addition to the headache of signing up for the free trial (which I will of course cancel once the programs arrive), I could not find any information about a number to call and speak to a real person. This is becoming increasingly common among large companies, and we consumers need to push against it forcefully. It is NOT OK to not provide phone support that is 7 days/week (or at least 6 days) and easily accessible.
Without the phone support issue, I would have given four stars, despite my difficulties, because they did a good job resolving my problem. But that has to cost them a star. Gotta have phone support.
So, while I haven't used The Knot for a wedding program (my son and his fiancée loved it for setting up their wedding website), I would have to think that's the place to go for a wedding program ... surely they understand that such a program should not make you think of the last place you went for breakfast!
Stay away from Canva for wedding programs. For other types of printing and design, knock yourself out.
Canva needs a simpler interface
Canva (both the website and the app) has gotten too wrapped up in AI and providing too many "extras". It's very difficult to do simple work of one's own making and ideas. AI, and not only at Canva, pushes a person to change the original idea and project. I suggest making it easy for people to find a simpler interface to make their own creative works, with options open to allow for "extras" and for AI. This helps people be in control of their own projects, not AI.

I love the templates to get me started on a themed project. Then, I really appreciate Canva AI helping me get it just how I want it!
AI feature needs improving
Canva is great but their new AI feature needs alot of improving. It doesn't follow instructions very well. Includes different languages and other words without prompt to. I have the business account so expect the AI feature to be alot better than it is.
Canva is a really nice tool
Canva is a really nice tool for creating professional portfolios, its nice and easy to use once you get the hang of it. It is also powered by AI tools to make it easier to use, I enjoyed my experience with Canva 😀
Artificial "Intelligence" can get in the bin
Generally, I love using Canva. Its USP is that it had great templates that you can EASILY customise to make something unique.
I would give it five stars.
However, this AI BULLSHIT - so that dullards can automatically just steal from artists Canva paid once, long ago - is destroying the fabric of humanity. Turn it off. People should not be allowed to be this lazy.
wrost AI ever!!

Its a free tool and it just not provide an opportunity to create any design related to video, picture, post etc. Besides it provides an excellent workspace where the tools can be easily used, decoration can be done desirably and text can be written in most amazing way. PLus point for Ai voice, subtitles ability and many more...
Most of Canva's elements are easy to…
Most of Canva's elements are easy to use, but, early on, we were a bit frustrated with the limitation on images we could use for our ads, but then the AI creator arrived, and it has been great for helping us create memes for our advertising purposes. As a nonprofit press, getting the word out about our publications is one of our primary concerns, and Canva makes that job easier.
You did not give me a reset AI limit…
You did not give me a reset AI limit and this experience was nothing like what I thought. You should be ashamed to has so many errors. VERY BAD.
