Terrible customer service, reordered top in a larger size and sent back the orignal one within a few days.Im still waiting for my reordered top after 10 days , UPS delivered the one I sent to the return center the next day. Emailed a few times now to get my item , haven't heard anything from this company and they are not a cheap place to shop. Last time I order from them I want my top or refund!

Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Ordered $450 worth of gear over a month ago. Emailed several times with no response. Contacted DHL who have advised they have not received the package a month after order. Still no response from Carbon 38

It’s been more than three weeks since I ordered, with no tracking info or communication from customer service for days. Seeing so many negative reviews is making me really worried.

Ordered a lot of stuff in Black Friday sales. Only one item has been delivered ( a replacement item for stock issue, ordered December 12). I have chased them multiple times to inquire about my outstanding larger order and single items and they have not updated with tracking, let me know they have been dispatched, or provided adequate email responses - product looks nice but horrendous customer service and support.

Perhaps my items will arrive three months later, who knows?’

Love the amazing sky blue color of the Takara shine leggings & the sizes of the matching sports bra, & off the shoulder sweatshirt are true to size. Sadly, though this is where my compliments end. For this line of clothing I’m not sure it qualifies as sportswear & I can say w/100% certainty it has zero functionality.“
Super cute, yes! Functionality nada 👎🏼. Did I mention you can see straight through them? Well you can. I tried with & without nude undergarments. You can see those through the garment. Without anything on you literally run the risk of your bottom crack & your lady parts being visible through the clothing. No pockets either. Not one itty bitty pocket. Not even one for a tiny key or a ring. Embarrassing. So now I have a cute $300 sheet “sportswear” outfit to wear only inside my home to watch movies in. Not suitable to wear while running on my home treadmill though. I look cute though and my husband loves it LoL
I give the color all the stars in the world but zero stars for function. Oh, except for waist/belly band acts a semi control top I’ll add a star for this. Would be lovely if there was a little mini pocket in it.

The delivery time and packaging were fine. However, the quality of the material is really unexpected considering how expensive their apparel is. The Takara Shine leggings (which I purchased) are advertised everywhere, look beautifully made, with high quality fabric, BUT they fell far below expectation. The shine is lacklustre to say the least (nothing like the pictures on their website), they are a little larger than described, and are as expensive (in fact more expensive for some items) as other competitive brands such as Lululemon or Sweaty Betty! Save your money and spend it elsewhere on more reputable brands.

Beware of a fraudent website that looks just like Carbon 38. I "bought" some jogger pants from the fraudulent site and am now trying to get my $118.00 back through AMEX. Since I don't really know how to tell if the website I go to is the legitimate one, I won't be shopping at Carbon 38 again.

Not sure why this company gets such low reviews. The quality of their clothes is fantastic, fast shipping, and easy returns. The clothes are pricey, so I wait until Black Friday for the sales. Super high quality pieces.

I am shocked at the low rating. I have ordered from Carbon 38 about 3-4 times with a return basically every time. I always get refunded right away. The returns are also free which is great. I’m in love with their ‘melt’ line. Good quality clothes and I will be continuing to order from them. I have had zero issues.

I paid $120 for a pair of sweatpants. There was a pulled thread and runner (no fault of my own) upon first wear. They wouldn’t accept a return. Poor quality and customer service. I’m also suspicious that my review of the product won’t show up on their site.

Even though the website looks impressive, the 2 items took months to get to me and they lost one of them, never ordering from them again!!

It's really a shame when your interaction with a company is so disregarded by them, that you have to find alternative ways to address the situation.

I've purchased from Carbon over the past 4-5 years and overall, their brand of clothing has been nice with little issues. The issue I do have is their customer service and policy as I find their responses lacking and their solutions insulting.

For example: I recently made an order for some pieces including a pair of leggings to replace a worn pair. I did not open them immediately and travelled for training. When I got back, I opened them to replace the others and found there was a stitching defect. I contacted the company and enquired about the defect. They were all apologies and then sent a $40 gift card (for more defective clothing?) because it was past the 30 day return policy. They said they could not give me a "free pair" (I never asked for a free pair, I asked for a replacement).

Seriously? The defect that happened during production didn't just suddenly appear after 30 days, it was there when you shipped it. The least you could do is replace them.

So I ended up paying $60+ for a pair of defective leggings. THAT is how Carbon38 works, and this isn't the first time I've experienced something like this. Their company has come across as petty through these interactions.

Save yourself and get better quality AND customer service anywhere else. At Carbon38, they'll agree that it's a "horrible mistake" and then find a way to partially blame you.

I ordered a legging which was supposed to be Snow White but got one that was more like a pink than white. I returned it but was charged for return fee which wasn’t on the site. The site clearly stated free returns. I contacted the customer service and they would not reimburse me for shipping. I will never buy anything from them again. Scam

I've never had an issue returning anything to this company. On the rare occasion I was sent the wrong size or item, I was given a free postage label and within a reasonable amount of time received the correct size or item. I've bought approximately 20 plus pairs of their leggings, some on sale and some full price, and have never had a complaint about their quality. Of all the brands I have bought over 40 years I like Carbon 38 the best, especially their Takara Shine. The Takara Shine is high quality, and durable, and the ones I wear regularly have lasted for at two years and are still wearing strong. I wear mine everday, and they are worth the higher price.

This company is a scam. I bought a Melt Jogger and it was the wrong size. I promptly returned it and simultaneously ordered a size up. I was just told that what I returned was damaged (it was not damaged when I put the item in the mailer) so they cannot refund me but will offer me a gift card. This is fraud. This is wrong. I will never shop here again and will be sure to spread the word to my friends to stay away.

UPDATE: After telling them that I was onto their fraudulent and deceptive practices, and that I would be filing complaints with the Attorney General Consumer Complaints, they issued me (as a 'courtesy') a full refund. This is hands down the worst company I have ever had the (dis)pleasure of buying from. Stay away. And others who got hit with their deceptive practice of claiming items were damaged or refusing to respond to requests to issue a return, I encourage you to file a complaint with the State of CA department of Consumer affairs .

Similar to many other reviewers, I returned items that I didn’t like for a refund only to see that they gave me a partial refund. I emailed the company and they informed me some of the items couldn’t be accepted because they were damaged. This is completely false given some of the items I didn’t even try on because I didn’t like the color / fabric. I also returned all the items the same day I received them, tried a few pieces on once, and left all tags attached. This company scams its customers. Stay away!!!

If I could give zero stars I would! I have ordered 3 pieces and tried them once and sent back the very same day I received it. Only got refund for 1 of the items and crickets… no explanation on other 2 very expensive items. Emailed, called and finally after a month got a response that items didn’t qualify for a refund.
They lied and said they sent me a gift card but they never did. Needless to say I’m never shipping with them ever again!
I’m planning on ordering items with a gift card ( that I still haven’t received) and sending them back in hopes to get a refund. What a joke of a company!

I ordered $710 worth of items from Carbon38 and returned all as I was not satisfied with the fit or fabric quality. They wrote me saying they would only accept a return for $375 of my return and stating the items returned were rejected for any one of the following reasons.

· Returned item(s) must be unwashed, unworn, unused, undamaged, and have all original tags attached.
· Always try on shoes on the carpet. Shoe boxes must be returned undamaged, along with the shoes.
· Please try on any swimwear over underwear. Do not remove the protective slip (swimwear without a protective hygienic strip intact will not be eligible for return).
· Please be careful so that makeup or deodorant does not rub off on the garment.
· Items marked final sale, gloves, and arm warmers, socks and leg warmers, headbands, water bottles, lingerie, and hair ties are not eligible for a refund.

I never wore the items, didn't remove any tags and al were returned in perfect condition in the original packaging and they are trying to steal my money. DO NOT BUY HERE. They are thieves.
