I have a Miata that was rear ended twice. First time the entire back end had to be replaced. The hardtop roof was down at the time of the accident and couldn’t be raised until back end was repaired. The hardtop roof NEVER leaked before the accident. Afterwards, it leaked. I took it back to CarStar 2x to have it checked out. They claimed a drainage port was clogged and they hosed it down after allegedly clearing it out, but the roof has leaked ever since. They claim their work is covered with a “LifeTime warranty” on parts and labor. Wreck # 2 happens.Not as severe, but the leaking that was only on the passenger side is now on both sides. CarStar does the second repair but REFUSES to even look at causes of leaking roof which wasn’t happening before wreck #1 and is now worse. I just want my car to function the way it did before wreck # 1. But they won’t/can’t due to incompetence and false claims on their “warranty.”
Twice I have had to use the services of this car body shop. The people who run this business are super nice and extremely efficient. They closely worked with my insurance company. I have a crystal soul red Mazda 3 GT and their work is impeccable. They even washed my car 🚗. You can email them with a picture and get an estimate. I highly recommend them.
