Catalina Crunch Reviews

Absolutely vile, it's like eating honey flavored cardboard! Also the honey flavor was not pleasant

I am a formerly loyal customer and loved the Cheddar Protein Snack Mix. That is, prior to their deceptive and dishonest bait and switch. The formulation/recipe was changed without any notice to consumers. Not only is this unethical, but it can actually be dangerous to those who must maintain a very strict diet, specifically long time customers who knew the prior nutrition facts and were calculating accordingly. Not to mention, the new taste and texture are extremely lacking. Frankly, it’s just not good. Catalina Crunch can add me to their growing list of former customers. I hope your money grab for increased profits at the expense of your customers’ satisfaction fails miserably. These are the kinds of decisions that can - and should - put a company out of business.

I am extremely disappointed with Catalina Crunch, not only with the quality of its snack mixes but also with the complete lack of customer service.

A couple of months ago, I purchased one of their snack mixes and was surprised by the extremely limited amount of cashews and almonds in the bag. Considering the premium price of this product, I expected considerably better.

Thinking perhaps I had simply received a bad batch, I decided to give Catalina Crunch another chance and purchased a different flavor. Unfortunately, my second experience was even more disappointing!

**What makes this situation even more frustrating is that I have reached out to Catalina Crunch TWICE to express my concerns, and neither attempt has received a response.** Not even a simple acknowledgment!

When a company charges premium prices, consumers should expect premium quality AND responsive customer service. Unfortunately, Catalina Crunch has failed to deliver on both.

I don't mind paying more for a quality product, but I do expect to receive what I'm paying for. And when I take the time to contact a company with legitimate concerns, I expect the courtesy of a response.

**Two disappointing purchases. Two attempts to contact customer service. Zero responses.**

That speaks volumes about my experience with this company.

I sincerely hope Catalina Crunch reevaluates both the consistency of its products and how it treats customers who take the time to provide feedback.

**Bottom line: Premium pricing means nothing without premium quality and customer service. Catalina Crunch has lost my confidence and, unfortunately, my business.**

I purchased this as a crunchy snack because of the high fiber low carb no sugar benefits. I am an avid buyer of these types of foods but I was very disappointed with the flavor and the after taste. I will be returning it and continue to search for something that actually tastes good.

I used to really like this cereal before they changed their ingredients. Previously, the calorie total for a serving (36 grams) was 110. I'm not sure what they changed, but now the calorie total for the same 36 grams is 150. A difference of +40 calories per serving is significant in my book. I still buy this cereal when it's on sale at Costco, but much less.

On the positive side, the calorie change forced me to consider other protein cereal alternatives and I've found a greater variety of protein cereals I enjoy.

I bought and tried Catalina Crunch Protein Snack Mix Parmesan Garlic 18 oz. The taste was fine, not great not horrible, fine. Nuts are the second and third ingredient on the ingredient panel. The picture on the package implies that you will get one or two nuts per handful. There are about ten in the entire 18 oz. bag. I had to search to find them. Not acceptable to me.

Obituary: The Betrayal and Demise of the Original Catalina Crunch Vanilla Almond Granola
Born: 2019
Cause of Death: Assassinated by Corporate Greed

It is with absolute fury and profound disgust that the low-carb community announces the death of the Original Formula of Catalina Crunch Vanilla Almond Granola and its other products. It did not die of natural causes; it was silently executed in the dark by a traitorous executive board.

For six years, the Original Formula stood as a trusted, grain-free ally for keto dieters and diabetics. It promised a safe, 1-ounce refuge from blood sugar spikes. That trust was utterly shattered when corporate management decided to pull a spineless bait-and-switch on its most loyal customers.

In a move of pure deception, Catalina Crunch overhauled the packaging while completely hiding the fact that they gutted the high-quality ingredients. They quietly stuffed the bags with cheap, inflammatory corn flour and corn fiber, banking on the hope that customers wouldn’t read the fine print. They were perfectly content to let unsuspecting buyers ingest garbage grains that completely derail their health and metabolic goals, all to line their own pockets.
This was not a mistake; it was a calculated, money-grubbing ambush on the consumer.

The Original Formula leaves behind thousands of furious customers, and a brand reputation that is now completely toxic.

Instead of mourning, the family demands you start bombarding their executive offices with hellfire emails, and permanently boycotting this deceptive company.

May Catalina Crunch’s profit margins rest in absolute ruin.

From a A 2 bag a week customer for 4 1/2 years. Returned 24 bags of this new crap. Whoevers idea this was should be charged to brand murder, product murder and company reputation murder. I'll share the product obituary everywhere I possibly can. I hope this was worth it for the company is now just another pusher of crappy cheap ingredients. This must be so devastating for the founder.

Catalina Crunch is the absolute worst snack mix I've tried. There is no flavor or variety in the mix. Even if you put a morsel in your mouth and don't chew, the product never dissolves. Save your time and money on a better product.

I bought Catalina Crunch for the last five years ! A good healthy and tasty snack low in carbs . You doubled the carbs and weren't truthful with customers . You doubled the carbs on the back without bringing any attention to the change . Everyone please check the change on the back . We buy it knowing what's in it , I got fooled , please I don't want you to .

They just had to go and try to improve it. Ruined a good cereal. Now I can't eat it anymore. too many added corn ingredients and they lowered the fiber so the carb count is too high now as well. The very people who originally supported your company are now squeezed out and left with nowhere to turn to. Guess it's back to searching. I can't even count how many bags I've purchased in the past. sorry but it's very frustrating and upsetting . Also just to note this new recipe absolutely did make my blood sugar go up a lot ! , I have two devices I use to test. You cannot appeal to the general public and people who are diabetic and have health issues. Saying it has no sugar is a lie when it turns into sugar when you eat it. you could use allulose which helps your body use sugar and doesn't cause disregulation long term like other fake sweetners and take out the corn and other unhealthy ingredients. Make a genuinely healthy cereal/ snack. maltodextrin is another sneaky ingredient that is 3x worse than sugar for blood levels of glucose but it's not even listed as a sugar or a carb. I know it's not in this cereal but it's in some of your other products so I wanted to let you know. Thank you for your time

I do not recommend purchasing from these snakes under any circumstances. I can say from personal experience that they do not care about their customers, their workers, or the quality of their products.

The cereal tasted so bad I feel this must be some type of scam company. Usually if something taste bad I'll just eat it and never order or buy it again, this tasted so bad i had to throw it out after 3 bites.

The company doesn’t give the option to:
1. Remove credit/debit card info from site
2. Cancel order
3. Speak with a human; only email
I don’t like how I can’t cancel an order I didn’t and don’t want and didn’t know was being ordered.

Why they don’t allow customers to remove financial information is shady and untrustworthy. I’ll never order from their website again. It’s too scammy.

You have to cancel each invidual item in a subscription, pressing cancel/continue SIX times before you can actually cancel it. It’s quicker and easier to subscribe to items, though.
I’m disappointed in their business practices and advise anyone to order via Amazon or your local grocery store if you decide to buy them.
Im calling my bank tomorrow to dispute the charge.

The product was not great, and overpriced. OK that's fine just cancel the subscription and don't buy anymore....wrong 2 years after I canceled they start billing me again! This company scams subscribers, keeps the CC on file and bills years after you cancel expecting you won't notice!

Absolutely NOT recommended for Type 2 diabetics. This garbage makes my blood sugar go OFF THE CHARTS every time. Claiming this is "diabetes friendly" is like saying smoking is perfectly fine. It's just corporate nonsense. This is over-priced, over-hyped TRASH.

Catalina crunch cereal has coconut oil. Why would you put coconut oil, also known as saturated fat and being the number one killer in the nation also known as heart disease.

I mistakenly subscribed to a monthly order. they keep charging me and sending product that I no longer want every month. They have a fake Customer Service tele # that is infuriating. They are not accessible on line. All of my efforts to cancel have failed.
I am about to file complaints to Visa, the Better Business Bureau and Amazon.

Horrible GI distress due to chocolate bars and they wouldn't even acknowledge the issue or give me a refund when I emailed repeat times. An excellent way to create a detractor out of someone who was a loyal customer. Please please avoid these chocolate bars

Would NOT recommend. I never received my $33 order and I wait very patiently because I know things take time these days. Waited an entire month for my first subscription and it never came. Said it was delivered yet it was not! I have door bell cameras and not one delivery was made the day it claimed it was delivered. Contacted then and asked where my stuff was or I wanted a refund and they said no refunds it said it was delivered. Ok cool so now I've learned after they stole my money is. . . . They say I'm a liar and they are keeping my money. I un subscribed so fast. It's a dang shame I provide you with every bit of proof and you still call me a liar. I will never do business with this joke of a company ever.

I purchased and did not like. I refused next shipment. They said they didn't get my return. They are liars and thieves!!! Do not purchase. It's a SCAM COMPANY!!! It tastes horrible. Don't know how they sleep at night!!!
