24 hours in police custody the episode of THE NO BODY MURDER is totally false in this day and age that a man can live in the woods for 5 years TOTALLY false clean shaven ,hair immaculate ,facebook site using ASDA WIFI,POLICE HELICOPTERS WITH HEAT SOURCE CAMERAS, NEVER SPOTTED ON CCTV .TOTALLY MADE UP EPISODE .SERIES HAS GONE DOWN IN MY ESTIMATION.

The player is an absolute pile of pants

The player is an absolute pile of pants. Funnily enough it manages to show the ads absolutely fine, but then the actual progamme fails with the message "Well this is embarrassing. Something's not working. Please try again in a few minutes." And it fails again of course. It makes the sub-par BBC iplayer look brilliant. No wonder people still use set-top box recorders with hard drives.

Promo code doesn't work, no response

There has recently been a promo code allowing 50% off subscribing for C4+ (the ad free version). I would have loved to sign up for this; £19.99 instead of £39.99 for a full year of ad free is a good deal. Unfortunately the promo code SPRINGBREAK didn't work on my account. I emailed them expressing my disappointment, saying that it felt like clickbait. I received a reply apologising and informing me that some customers were having issues with the code. (I had tried it on my existing account, and tried creating a new second account using my work email address and both had the same result - I must be really unlucky!) They said they would look into it. A day later I received a reply asking me to try a different promo code SPRINGSAVE. I did this, to no avail. I replied to let them know this code also did not work. The following day I received another reply suggesting yet another code SPRINGTREAT. This code also did not work! I then received no reply to my email at all. A week later, I sent them a completely new case email explaining everything written above. I received an automated reply to say they would be in touch. 2 weeks later I haven't heard anything at all! This has put me off signing up for C4+. Why should I pay £39.99 when the offer says I could have it for £19.99? Disappointed. I'll join again at a later date instead, when my other TV subscriptions have expired.

Tv app is useless .

Tv app is useless .. lost count of how many times I’ve had to uninstall then reinstall to get it to work. Even then it’s slow and keeps freezing.

I’ve never seen an app used so much with such poor reviews!
Bet your premium version is booming? Is that the reason the free version is so bad?! Is there anyone even looking and responding to these reviews?

My advise… don’t pay premium, my guess is the user experience is so crap on the free version to entice people to pay! Btw… not just me to say it’s crap, like I say never seen something so popular with this many bad reviews 🤔

Couldn’t give it zero - awful app, constantly freezing on Firestock and does the same as embedded on LG tv. Not used a worse main stream app

Terrible app on firestick

The app on the firestick keeps crashing, too many adverts, it is too frustrating an app to watch catch up on. I do not watch live TV and this is how I watch C4 content. I love C4 but I am fed of the this app and how many times I have clear cache and force stop the app. I am ready to turn off C4 and stop watching.

I used to like channel 4 but now a days I don’t bother with it. Some shows on the channel are not good and the other thing I have to say is there is only one show I like watching on this channel is unreported world. That’s the only show I like watching on channel 4 but overall it’s just not as good as before

Too many ads it's horrendous you watch…

Too many ads it's horrendous you watch more ads than the programme you want to watch e.g MAFS is 1 hour long but they have so many ads that lasts 1.5 hours it feels like you watch more time ads than MAFS and ruins the experience completely. I know marketing has to exist but this is too much to the point it becomes ridiculously annoying. I hope they will get the overwhelming 1 star reviews and come to their senses and make this channel better cause now it's more annoying than anything else

Greedy advert pushing even on premium

Used to be happy paying premium for no ads but now have to watch channel 4 adverts every 15 minutes?? Could just about forgive start n end of a show (or even a branded one at these times for sponsorship reasons) but the reason for paying premium is to avoid shows being disturbed and now it's constant adverts for channel 4 during programmes (even BBC don't do this) Cancelling premium subscription as not worth it anymore might as well put up with ads.v

Absolutely awful app

Absolutely awful app . The moment you try to rewind or fast forward or pause and I pay for no ads it buffets or freezes. So many complaints about your unreliable unresponsive app by many customers and what is being done about it ? NOTHING . Fix it before all customers delete and stop watching . P.s. date of experience is every single time . Fix this please

Worst app for TV

Not watched Channel 4 in years, decided to give Handcuffed a try. Interesting & how lovely would it be to finish the series but after frequent buffering, screen freezes & the numerous time spent on ads we have had to leave it & wont be back. Must be the worst app, I can’t believe they even bother to sell ad free.
