Fantastic service

Fantastic service. Absolutely amazing, everyone we have dealt with have been so polite, friendly and professional. The quality of service is well beyond 5 stars. We had our back French doors replaced which measures 13 feet and the quality is outstanding. The work was done in one day and Steve and James were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

I must say found them excellent.I had a problem with a sticking patio door and they sent a surveyor within a couple of days and quoted a very reasonable price ( I got a second price from another Company which was over double their quote)
Kyle, their engineer was pleasant and competent and fixed the problem for me.

Exceptional work

Exceptional work, installed on time and to extremely high standard, incredibly neat and tidy. I think our bedroom was cleaner after they left than before!

I Was a little nervous, I’m a perfectionist, about buying upvc sashes for dormer that had very old ugly upvc casement window. The windows look fantastic, it’s a Victorian villa in conservation area with 20 wooden beautiful sash windows elsewhere in house (all ironically were also reglazed by Channel Gl.). You really cannot tell difference between wood and upvc sashes from garden, and inside they look very close to wood sashes, very impressed.

I looked at Wooden DG sashes but would have been very exposed and difficult to maintain at that height (scaffold required, all other windows can be reached by ladder), but quotes for DG wood were more than twice as much.

Also installers were helpfull beyond what is reasonable to expect. Existing 1980’s plastic downpipe turned out to be in very poor condition and they replaced it for me with matching cast iron effect downpipe to match rest of house.

I highly recommend Channel glazing ‘through horn’ sash windows as beautiful, exceptional value, suitable for quality period homes, and the company from sales through to highly skilled installation.

Terrible experience

Luke - worker from Channel Glazing. When I confronted him about the mess he left ALL over my bedroom (dust everywhere, on my clothes, on my bedsheets, in my drawers on my belongings) and theft he'd taken down my blinds and left my window open for the whole street to see, he proceeded to be verbally abusive asking "who the f*** are you? I don't work for you!". I'm in the process of filing a formal complaint, and hope my letting agency does not contract him again.

Dreadful company

Dreadful company. They didn’t turn up on the arranged day. When they did come, they fitted the door but as soon as it rained, water came pouring into my newly plastered kitchen. After many, many phone calls, someone came out, said that it had been fitted incorrectly and pumped ordinary sealant over the top. Needless to say, it still leaked and despite many more phone calls to the receptionist who said someone would call me, nobody ever did. Had to pay someone else to fix the door.
