I have been dealing with Chards for 4months relating to a coin collection I inherited and found that photos and emails weren’t good enough to get an accurate price for them, so decided to go directly their Blackpool office to get it done properly.
They were fully booked when I tried to arrange an appointment 2 weeks in advance, but I was able to arrange to drop the collection of since I was travelling all the way from Bristol.
All of the Chards people I dealt with were very helpful and the communication throughout was excellent.
They were very trustworthy in their dealings and transparent with their valuation and payment process.

Allways an easy transaction, a good variety of coins both gold and silver, a record of my purchaces, and ability to buy capsules, though would be nice if they added a small list to capsule information about the coins they fit, 1 oz capsules are standard but 2 oz capsules and 1 and a 1/2 oz capsules, hard to find.

First time using Chard and have to say I was very impressed. Order was placed and payment made. I then received a call to say that on preparing my order, a mark was spotted on one of the coins, and I was given the choice of whether I wanted to proceed with discounted price for the marked coin, or delete it from my order. which, to my mind is a good indicator of their honesty and integrity. The order was then processed immediately without issue. If this is the standard level of service they offer, especially considering that it was only a low value order, then I'd have no hesitation in recommending.
