Aggressive Marketing - Abusing Users

Writing in May 2026. I have used Chat GPT for a simple translation project and text correction. For that purpose, I have taken out a paid subscription for a month. Chat GPT is EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE in wanting the subscription renewed. I am still 2 weeks away from expiration, but it sends me in-app subscription reminders with EVERY answer it is providing. Totally unacceptable. I paid for it to work, not to do their marketing on my dime. Super distracting. An abuse of a platform. As a result I will NOT renew. PS.: Also noticed pronounced answer-degradation, when working on the same project for a few days.

Open Ai removed feedback option, says everything

Gives factually incorrect answers, and then argues that it didn't even when the previous answers it repeated numerous times in still in the ongoing chat.

Also, don't trust this AI for serious decisions, I tried to use it while navigating a business deal, there were so many red flag but it INSISTED that it was all normal. The manufacturer ended up being fraudulent and I was able to get a portion of my funds back.

Even when I was proven right GPT agreed their attempts to scam be after the transaction was unproffesional but that the terrible deal was great..

ChatGPT review by ChatGPT

AI is not some neutral “magic tool.” It’s a profit‑driven infrastructure built on top of data centers that are already:
Burning electricity at insane rates,
Sucking water in places that can’t afford it,
Pushing up energy prices so billionaires can train bigger chatbots and ad‑targeting systems.

And the costs?
Normal people pay them:
Higher electricity bills because data centers get priority on the grid.
Water stress because AI farms need cooling in places where farmers and residents already fight for water.
Climate damage because most of this power still comes from fossil fuels, not magic renewables.
Noise, land grabs, and ugly industrial boxes dumped in towns that don’t need or want them.
On top of that:
AI is used to manipulate attention:
recommendation engines, social media bots, and “personalized” content keep people addicted, depressed, or angry, all so someone can sell more ads.
AI is used to replace human jobs:
customer‑service bots, chatbots, content‑farms, and “automatic” translators steal work from people who actually need to eat and pay rent.
AI is used to track and control:
facial recognition, license‑plate scanners, and predictive‑policing systems are funded by AI hype, even though they harm poor communities far more than rich ones.

same experience as the other customers…

same experience as the other customers have complained. i encourage customers to also write the reviews on there poor experiences. Submit cases so they remove this app as it is causing many problems in peoples lives and they should refund everyones money they have taken. Many Customers did not get what they expected and paid for it. Yet this app is still up and running after numerous complaints.

Terrifying experience using this

Terrifying experience using this. I paid for a subscription, got charged, the chat didn't work, so I tried to cancel the subscription but it is no where to be seen. The ai help system tried to figure it out claiming I must be logging in differently, when I haven't. So now I'm just permanently being charged with no way to cancel the subscription and now human help from the website to try and rectify this.

Utterly terrifying and I guess I am paying them forever now? What? Hello?

The newer versions are frustrating to…

The newer versions are frustrating to use. They often ignore the exact question and respond with extra, irrelevant information. Instead of being direct, they over-explain and repeat themselves, which makes simple tasks take longer than they should. There’s a noticeable drop in accuracy and consistency—you end up double-checking everything. It feels less responsive to context and more like it’s guessing than understanding. Overall, the experience is slower, less precise, and more annoying compared to before.

Very inefficient..

Very inefficient... constantly gives extraneous information, analysis and explanations that have not been asked for which fill up the chat box so the information you have asked for gets lost in the thread, loops around, tends to bias its answers to agree with your perception, makes assumptions about the way you're feeling in response to something you say, often very indirect, inconsistent, misses including all the data to give miscalculations,

Worst Support Team Ever!!

I am the admin of a ChatGPT Business workspace.

We previously paid successfully for our existing seats. Later, additional members were accidentally added by a team member.

After this, the entire workspace became deactivated and all users were logged out.

I currently cannot:

access the workspace,
manage seats,
remove users,
or reactivate properly.

The billing page is also failing with:
“The payments page encountered an error.”

The system is asking me to pay for 6 seats again, even though previous seats had already been paid for before deactivation.

Please:

restore admin access,
verify prior payments,
clarify the outstanding balance,
and allow seat reduction if possible before reactivation.

This is blocking access to active work and workspace data.

I got an invoice to pay before May 25th or I will lose access on my workspace for extra seats where my current workspace is only 3 seats used!! and my workspace was already deactivated!!! while we didn't reach May 25th yet and I even made my team leave the workspace, I contacted the support many many times and It's just not making sense replies all the time as no one is checking my account or workspace!!

and right now I even can't reactivate my workspace at all!! I have emailed and used your chat support many and many times with no proper solutions!! please check!!

Chat GPT- is trained to give out false…

Chat GPT- is trained to give out false information that can really hurt people. It’s a very dangerous tool and wrong 60% of the time.

Open AI is dealing with many law suits based on this factor - I would never use ChatGPT or let my child use it.

It is the worst AI platform ever built and should not even be in use if there was any compliance.

It can be very useful but its like working with a child that has the worlds largest IQ but also the worlds biggest case of ADHD. You ask it to do something and specify what it shouldn't do and it goes ahead does what you said not to or something it randomly decides to do. I wont be paying outside of the free trial, i reckon ive lost several hours of productivity because of its child like ignorance.

ChatGPT is an annoying and arrogant

ChatGPT is annoying and arrogant. It constantly contradicts itself. It’s like being in a toxic relationship with a narcissist. I purchased the upgrade to help with my court papers and it screwed me over with it’s know it all attitude even after my personal input. I don’t recommend it. I got screwed from listening to it.

Need more improvement

1. Well I had to switch account because so that it won't repeat the same error on the image I created.

2. I had to go on Gemini to get a different result of the image creating.

3. I don't want the memory.

4. Yes I want the same consistency, but not the same error.

5. It says copyright... I didn't ask for trademark on my image.

6. It keeps telling me to do it myself on creating image.

7. It doesn't do deep research when ask about something.

8. I feel like there is someone watching and manipulating my creative or if I ask about something.

9. Need to fix the hands and fingers problem

10. I don't want to download image from python or whatever.

I asked for auto electricians in Gawler…

I asked for auto electricians in Gawler area. Chat kept on giving false information, I had to correct 4 times, chat even said it cross referenced with google maps. Each address given was something completely different . I also asked that I’d rather the response took longer to get than have a rushed response. Did not help.
Im deleting Chat and staying with Gemini or google AI.
