Can Citrus help defeat the scammers?
I see Citrus is also annoyed about scammers spoofing their numbers. Maybe Citrus has enough clout to do something about it.

The calls people are getting are from scammers, they have software that hides the real number and shows as a number that is owned by Citrus, it is not Citrus. They are victims of this, the scammers could easily clone your number and you would be none the wiser or responsible for what they say, please think about this before destroying this companies trust pilot score.

They call you and hang up, probably to get you to call back and probably a premium rate number - I'm not risking it nice try Citrus - keep calling and you'll get reported.

I got in contact with Citrus after receiving calls from numbers seemingly operated by them. Much like the other reviewers on here. What the other reviewers FAIL to take note of is the fact that Citrus are as much a victim of the scammers as those people being called. The scammers program their equipment to FALSELY represent being from a UK Provider, in this case Citrus, and so it seems you are being called from a number operated by Citrus and when you do a look up of the number you are directed to them as the owners of that block of numbers. The scammers FALSELY present numbers from mobile number ranges which is fraudulent and in breach of Ofcom regulations. In an attempt to legitimise calls, scammers program their call generation systems to falsely present numbers from a real UK number range, and in this instance have chosen a Citrus range. It is unfair and very difficult to stop. Ofcom have tried to do something where when a call is sent to a terminating operator if the PAID (P asserted ID or real telephone number) is missing or wrong then there is a big surcharge so making operators block them however, VoIP telecoms switches are easy to acquire either buying or renting in the cloud, and they provide the ability to insert fake PAID into the transmission signalling of a call rendering the regulation useless. It's an industry wide problem and the more the recipients of these calls report the issue to Ofcom the more chance there is something will actually get done. I contacted Citrus and they were actually very helpful, even though they can't do anything about it and are suffering as much as those people being called. Their business reputation is being called into question and it's not fair. BLAME OFCOM AND THE SCAMMERS. DO NOT BLAME THE COMPANY WHO ARE VICTIMS LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.

Scam company operated by and for scammers. They claim that they have no control over the phone number ranges that THEY OWN. Reported to Ofcom, I strongly recommend that anyone receiving calls from scammers operating on their network take the same course of action. I have had 20 different calls from 20 different numbers in the last 3 days. Can you guess what they all have in common. Correct - they are numbers on ranges owned and leased by Citrus Telecom. Weird huh?

I just add money for the first time, but not able to call. Why?

Nothing seems to work and very limited information on their website. The dialler doesn't work. If you try to register your phone to get a text code, it says it's bad when it's not. It says it's free but wants money. It says it'll reply to emails promptly. It doesn't. I can't see anything it does other than advertise
