We have been using Close for our sales…

We have been using Close for our sales operations, but today they completely locked our account without any prior warning, citing a "high risk" flag. This happened despite the fact that we are a fully verified German corporation (GmbH) and have already submitted all "Regulatory Bundles" and legal documents (Handelsregisterauszug) months ago.

The worst part: Close has blocked our access to our ENTIRE lead database. I have already lost a major closing today because I couldn't access my data. Support has gone silent and is ignoring our urgent emails.

Holding a customer's business data hostage while ignoring verification documents is a massive breach of trust and a violation of GDPR data access rights. If you are a professional sales team, be warned: Close might cut off your business at any moment without notice or support.

Trial Locked Instantly, Support Runs on Copy-Paste — Save Yourself the Headache

We signed up for Close to evaluate it as a CRM for our B2B sales operations. Within hours, our trial was locked down by their “auto-security system” — before we even had a chance to use the product.
When we reached out to support, we received a generic copy-paste response asking us to hand over personal LinkedIn profiles and other sensitive data just to trial their software. We pushed back — politely but firmly — and received the exact same template again from a different agent. Nobody actually read our message or addressed the issue.
Let that sink in: a CRM that’s supposed to help you manage customer relationships can’t manage its own customer relationships.
If your security system is flagging legitimate signups and your support team can’t do anything beyond pasting pre-written responses, your onboarding is fundamentally broken. We’re a company with 6+ years in the market, an active online shop, physical retail, and real revenue — and we couldn’t even get past the trial screen.
We’ve since moved our evaluation to HubSpot Sales Hub, which let us get started immediately, has responsive human support, and doesn’t treat prospective customers like suspects.
If you’re looking for a CRM you can actually rely on in a business context, look elsewhere. Close isn’t ready.
tl;dr: Trial instantly locked. Support is copy-paste bots. Asked for personal data just to test the product. Avoid if you value your time.

"AI Search" kills it all

"AI Search" kills it all

Its the most stupid search engine I EVER encountered in my life. You literally search a domain name and it just shows it on fourth position sometimes because others have something similar from the domainname in their title...
Whoever programmed this should get fired, just do a normal search engine - no degenerate AI needed

This has been this way for month and no one gives a damn about it

Also if you work too fast (Change the workplace and try to search very fast after that) Close will literally replaces what you put in the AI search bar with what was there before which ALWAYS results in the wrong search

Such an incompetent tool

Once it was the best CRM i knew

Once it was the best CRM i knew. Since they forced to use me the new lead-page my producitivity dropped.

- Crucial functions are missing
- Bugs appearing every 2 minutes (obviously not tested enough by a feature-tester)
- High latency / increased loading time
- No overview in dropdowns
- Circumstancial to use in general

And the best of all is that the support is responding with templates instead of taking the problems seriously.

Congrats Close. You just messed up your own CRM.

Close is the straightforward solution…

Close is the straightforward solution for managing sales. If you use don't need the full suite of Hubspot it's an absolute no-brainer to go with Close. We built our setup with Intercom and Close and it works perfectly by using the Zapier integration to connect the dots.

Close CRM is a gamechanger in the…

Close CRM is a gamechanger in the industry at the moment. We have been using Close for about a year now and they have been absolutely amazing. I love the UI and how smooth it is to transition from one screen to another. Definitely increases the productivity of all of our employees. Highly recommended for all sales teams.

Close is an amazing CRM and company

Close is an amazing CRM and company.

We've used Hubspot, SalesForce, and a few other CRMs in the past. Our users found them complicated and over featured. Software should be easy to use and obvious, without hours of training. That's what Close is.

The features we needed like SMS, Calling, and call recording are built in, so you don't need to figure out how to setup and support that.

And speaking of support, their support team is incredible. I get resolution on issues within minutes or hours. Our customer success person, Lauren, is always getting us into their alpha and beta's so we can try new features. And their product team is super engaged in gathering feedback from our team.

All around, a solid CRM with an incredible team behind it.

Great sales automation app

Best sales automation app I've ever used. I used to do some cold calling - I do hate it but it was a part of my job for some time. First I was reaching out in an old-school way, then I tried Outreach for email automation still calling with normal phone. Didn't like it much. And then I moved to Close.io. Their Mac app with automated dialing is really cool - you reach much more clients with much less effort. This made cold calling process even a bit pleasant and I had a clear outreach plan for my day. There were some problems with connection sometimes, but that's ok - I know this happens. Great job, guys!
