Coffee Cup software has been one of my favorite software vendors for years. Their products just keep on working! A1! Five stars!
Always impressed with the response to any request. Not only the speed of the reply but the quality of the help offered is tremendous. I have been dealing with CoffeeCup for over 10 years and they have continually exceeded my expectations on quality of software and assistance.
I have been a CoffeeCup customer since June 2010, when I was looking for an easy way to build websites without having to learn web programming. CoffeeCup had exactly the software I needed, and I've been using it ever since.
Over the past 16 years, I have consistently found their customer support to be responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful whenever I needed assistance.
For both the quality of their software and the outstanding support they provide, I happily give CoffeeCup 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Human approach and support from Bret Perryman, Director.
It rekindles faith and trust again in CoffeeCup and it's been so many years, I have been purchasing some of CoffeeCup'sproducts, a few no longer available though, yet, what is important before making purchases is to see how good is the help approach and CoffeeCup, I believe has this is their marketing philosophy: providing the best customer-care approach.
I was very unimpressed with this software. Most importantly, the entire app blinks off and on while trying to use it. Very distracting and irritating.
The rest of my dislikes are just personal opinion and everyone has different preferences.

There tutorials are for a Web designer that was 5 years ago, None of the tutorials are even up to date in this decade, and there software is so unintuitive. its like pulling teeth. Even if you get all the parameters right, the web designer does not update , to show you your changes, Pathetic Software, a waste of money.
Very disappointed. Packages look capable, but there is no beginner support.
I've been a Coffeecup user for years, but they have lost their attitude to beginner & intermediate programmers.
Very sad. Scott built an amazing resources, but they have lost their direction since he left.
I got to level 3 and every time the 6 red cups came up, they would not go into the tray. This happened over and over. Kept forcing me to restart
Utter garbage which you can't even uninstall!
Coffeecup.com claims you pay once and own it forever???
My Late Father and My Brother used their software and paid 7-8 times yet now they want to charge another $20.00 for another lifetime license? this company isn't up to par? maybe they should be looked into below is their Quote, pay once???
"Pay once"??,
own it forever!
Stop paying monthly subscriptions
Get a perpetual license and 1 year of free upgrades with the purchase of any of our products."
Below is what they did to my brother they are using Cripple Ware to discourage lifetime members!!!
To whom it may concern:
My name is William Wilson Jr., and I have been a Coffee Cup customer for over 25 years. During this time, I(and my late father, William Wilson Sr.) purchased many of your products. I think I have more than one account (using Cartdesigns.com, I believe). I am sure we purchased 7 or 8 different products from Coffee Cup, over the years.
But... the product that started us liking your stuff was your HTML Editor. It was great. And guaranteed for life!
I think we have at least 3 licenses of the editor, between my Dad and I.
When I bought a new computer, I tried to get my copy of the HTML Editor, only to find that the 'lifetime guarantee' was no more.
But, I could use your free editor, or give you another $20, for another 'Lifetime Guarantee.
I'll be honest, this whole thing seemed dirty to me.
So... I opted for the free editor.
But last night, I tried to run a 'spelling check' using your free editor, I was greeted with this(see attachment):
This feature went KABOOM when you didn't upgrade to the full version
I was stunned by this. Really?
Coffee Cup issuing cripple ware??? To a good customer, no less.
I guess your reputation doesn't mean anything to you anymore?
Okay, fine. I will never buy another product of yours again, or recommend your company, again.
Sincerely,
William Wilson
The html editor is so user friendly and has helped me to learn enough code to build a decent website. I love the flip screen to see how it looks as you go. Good value product.
I asked the CoffeeCup support team about whether they host websites, and I received a reply within a few days. I forgot what information they provided me with, but II was glad that they replied so quickly. I am very happy with their software, although I have a lot of work to do to figure out how to use it, as I am new to website design. All of their software looks user-friendly and at least is a lot less expensive than their Adobe counterparts.
Lots of features for the price. Live preview and auto/live spell check are great features - the latter of which is missing from Adobe Dreamweaver. Plus has things like php syntax check. Program just let down a bit by editor being slow to navigate, e.g. key repeat not as fast other applications, vertical scroll via mouse wheel slow. Indeed with all options turned on can be waiting for characters to appear on screen if touch typing at speed. Customer services great. They told me what options needed to turn off, so not waiting for characters to appear on screen when typing fast.
ABsolute rubbish, I have met a fart with more idea about custimer services than this bunch....5 days of not getting an answer, then they close the case....
I have used the coffeecup HTML editor free for years and have always been pleased with it. I recently decided to update my rather neglected website and went back to coffeecup. This time I bought it. It has a host of new features and is excellent value for money (but you can still use it for free). Once again, I found it easy to use with many more features than I need ... but I look forward to needing them in the future :-)
