Never again!
I initiated an inquiry regarding private health insurance form a social media ad.
The results indicated that my fund was doing ok price wise, so we decided to take it no further.
A short time later I got a call wanting more information. I explained that we had decided to stay with our current insurer. The young man explained that the initial evaluation was often wrong due to the algorithm?? This rankled me.
I tried to respond a number of times, but the person kept talking over me in a passive aggressive manner.
By speaking assertively, I managed to ask if he would stop talking and call me back later, as I was about to head out to church. He said "no, I can't do that" and launched back into his script. I was astounded by this affront, and hung up.
I was stunned and shocked by the experience.
Thinking about it later, I figured that Compare the Market does not offer free, independent advice, but is simply hell bent on converting inquiries into sales, nothing less. The man on the phone was chasing his bit of the action, while meeting his targets.
All things considered, I now feel that this organisation's business model is dubious, lacks honesty and transparency.
They have seen the last of me!

First time use of Serge & Alex and it worked out well.

You gave my credit card details to nib after I told Huan ? Do not charge me until I give you the okay on Sunday last. He called me as arranged at approximately 9.30am last Sunday morning and I said I was not going to change from Aust Unity. I just happy to check balance on my card only to find I’d been charged I think $273 which was about $30 a month more than what I was already paying. Even though you offered me $250 excess instead of $500 I was still better off where I was. In May of this year you talked me into going with Aust Unity instead of Latrobe with no excess. I look forward to receiving my refund tomorrow being Friday

One call, more coverage and 25% reduction in my monthly health insurance
I wanted more things covered by my insurance. Compare the market did that AND SAVED me $50 a month (for a single). The new health insurance company then reduce my rate by a further $14 a month. One phone call which will save me over $750 a year! Brilliant service.

Easy experience
I was called almost immediately to set up a time to chat with an advisor.
My advisor made the experience of navigating private health insurance so easy to understand. She took the time to answer all my questions and I felt she had my experience in mind the entire time.
