I have tried to sign up with them for free. Because on another website, they said it was free. I am a Freelance Writer, and then today they said I'd have to pay money for membership. Utter garbage. Stay clear of these robbers!

It's a scam
It's a scam. They just send fake automated emails pretending they will find clients for you. Then they send a membership form to steal your money. So many of these out there now.

Paid a lot for nothing.
I paid a LOT of money to join Contena. I admit I was swayed by the promises of coaching and help to get established as a freelancer - they do have a good sales pitch.
I contacted them when I was diagnosed with cancer to ask about suspending my membership until I was feeling well again. I received zero support, not one word of compassion. I reached out to the founder via LinkedIn and was ignored there too.
So far I’ve paid for absolutely nothing and received zero support or help.
It also appears that sponsored “reviews” by selected users are all over the place. I couldn’t recommend Contena under any circumstances.
