"Why should games be so expensive?" "We must be able to sell video games cheaper"
From these two original thoughts came the main desire to form Coolshop back in 2003. This was to become the foundation for what is Denmark's largest and now one of Europe’s fasting growing online video game and accessories stores.
Mark one of the co-founders said “if we are big enough, then we can buy in such large quantities that we can skip over several links in the supply chain, thereby achieving significant savings”. Mark was of course right in letting this idea form the backbone of the business. So, since this day we have formed and built on the philosophy, we choose to call The Magic Five Points:
“We would be best on price, service, information, security and selection.” It was therefore natural to choose the Internet as a platform to sell games as this allowed us to offer our lower prices to a much larger and wider audience. Indeed, Coolshop holds over 200,000 games which are ready to dispatch the same day they are ordered.
The Internet has also given us the opportunity to provide more detailed information on our products. From the outset we decided to offer trailers and videos across the entire product range to enhance the shopping experience. We wanted to make shopping with Coolshop easy, fun and informative – most importantly we didn’t just want the experience to be like reading the back of a box in a shop!
Two of the Magic Five Points are service and security. How could we give the user the same comfort as in a normal shop where an assistant is always nearby to lend assistance? Normally it can take days to get the answer to an inquiry via e-mail. The answer was chatting directly with an employee without delay or queue; so we introduced our Live Chat Service. We have built a professional and friendly support team chatting every week with thousands of customers. With a large database of happy customers to back this up - this really is something which has proved to be a great success! To this date we have reached over 2,700,000 customers and now operate stores in Denmark, United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Netherlands, and Iceland.
"It's great that so many people have taken to our website and the philosophy for which it as been built - we will continue to build on the Magic Five and the success that is Coolshop”

1 star because film cases are in foreign language. The website says uk but it's not in the UK. That should be illegal.

I bought a DJI Osmo Mobile 8 from this online store.
After receiving the package and testing the device, I discovered that it would not charge. After contacting Coolshop, I had to wait several days for a response. I was then told that it would be better to contact the manufacturer directly, as the process through the store would take too much time.
I contacted DJI, and they informed me that they could accept the device for replacement, but that it would be faster and more reasonable to arrange an exchange or refund through the dealer Coolshop, since less than 14 days had passed since the purchase.
However, Coolshop did not accept the defective product for a refund. Even after I referred to the relevant consumer laws, I was only informed several days later that a possible repair might be offered.
As a result, after purchasing a brand-new product for around €180, I received a non-working device and spent a significant amount of time dealing with messages and trying to resolve the issue.
Special thanks to DJI support, who ultimately helped me and replaced the device with a working one. The manufacturer’s customer service proved to be far more customer-oriented than Coolshop

As usual ... perfect.
Product as described, quick delivery, good pricing. Nothing to complain about.

I had a huge problem with the delivery, nothing to do with coolshop but coolshop through thick and thin got my package delivered to my home. They are professional and competent and always gave me the feeling they understood how important it was for me to get my order, they took my problem seriously and were patient with me. I highly commend coolshop. Like we say in Germany: gerne wieder!

One of the worst purchasing decisions I have made in a long time was choosing to buy from Coolshop Iceland. I strongly advise others to avoid purchasing any products from them that may require warranty support.
It has now been six weeks since I returned a Roborock robot vacuum (purchased in January). Communication is extremely slow, and the handling of the case has been even slower. From the start, delivery was also disappointing. I was aware the item would ship from Denmark, but it still took significantly longer than expected to arrive.
The product failed after only about five weeks of use. It was declared irreparable a week ago, yet I am still waiting for the refund I explicitly requested. When I visited their Smáratorg store yesterday, I was simply told that everything is handled in Denmark and that delays are to be expected.
This level of service is unacceptable. I cannot recommend buying anything from this company that could potentially break, as dealing with warranty claims appears to be unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming.
If someone at Coolshop sees this review the order number is # 92113457 you should see all other contact information from that order. Hopefully I will get any answers or refund someday????

I have bought Prismatic evolution binder collection thinking I'm buying brand new product not opened nor resealed. But once I opened the pack and clearly saw it opened before and the boosters were resealed. So I try to get a refund for the whole payment 100 % since it is opened and resealed. But after showing the pictures and the proves they apologized for the damage and only offered 20 %. Which is a fraud and a scammer will do. It is a false advertisement for a new unopened product and they sold you an opened resealed product. Totally unacceptable and they need to do something. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THOSE LIARS AND SCAMMERS......

Ble scammet. Kjøpte pokemon first partner illustration collection og fikk et åpnet sett hvor first partner kortene var fjernet og erstattet med energy kort og engangs koder. Veldig skuffet..

I was quite worried when placing my first order (nothing big — just a CD), because the store was completely unknown to me, based abroad, with a suspiciously low product price and equally low shipping cost. My concerns turned out to be unnecessary. The shop is top-notch! The item arrived very quickly, exactly as described, at a fantastic price, and was securely packaged. Full shipment tracking with regular updates. Highly recommended — I’m adding this store to my favorites.

Ordered Logitech - G Saitek PRO Flight Yoke System before Christmas, or December 2nd 2025 and its late March and no order delivered yet, no transparency or updates as a email from them at Dec 17 saying it might be on January 9th or I would get a update from them that never came from them other then me needing to contact them. Coolshop NEEDS to do better.

Refused a refund when I received a product 3 weeks from its expiry date. coolshop had the same product for cheaper with the expiry date, sorry, "best before" date, disclosed but they sent me this close date range product anyway after I deliberately paying full price for an extended date product.

Thank you for everything. The product quality is outstanding, and I highly recommend it.

Alright. So my Google Chromecast stopped working. No warning, no smoke, just… gave up. Probably exhausted. It’s been streaming Midsomer Murders for years. That’s a lot of village trauma.
My telly was ancient as well. One of those big ones that weighs more than a sofa. Needed something just to cast Midsomer Murders. I’ve never actually seen a full episode. Not properly. I always fall asleep. Every time. There was one about a folk musician though — watched that start to finish. Riveting. Banjo-based tension. But the rest? I wake up at the end, half the village has been murdered, Barnaby’s being threatened with a pistol, and I’ve no idea how it escalated from a bake sale to armed hostage situation.
Anyway, Chromecast was sold out everywhere. Typical. The one time you need technology, it’s gone. So I ended up with a Firestick. Didn’t even want one. Sounds like something you’d use to start a campfire, not watch murder mysteries.
Got it home — turns out it doesn’t cast everything. You’d think that’d be its whole job. “Stick it in, it does the telly stuff.” Simple. No. Had to subscribe to some app so it would cast properly. I don’t even know if I’m still paying for it. Could be draining 4 quid a month for the rest of my life. I’ll find out when I’m 80 and the bank says, “You’ve spent £3,200 on something called CastyMcCastFace.”
Then not long after buying it, I moved to a bigger house. Needed a bigger, newer telly. The Firestick became pointless. Like buying an umbrella and then moving to the desert.
So I put the old telly out on the driveway. Meant to take it to the tip. Forgot about it. It’s just been out there. Through three snowstorms. Proper blizzards. Looked like a modern art installation. “Man Regrets Purchase.”
The other day my brother asks, “You happy with your Firestick?” I had to tell him it’s still technically outside. Frozen into the back of a prehistoric television. He goes, “I’ll have it.” Took it home.
Now I understand why it’s called Firestick. It’s survived months buried in snow and freezing temperatures. That thing’s tougher than me. If society collapses, I’m hiding behind it.
And yesterday I finally found out why my Chromecast stopped working in the first place. Got an email from Google. Apparently there was an update. Months ago. That I never did.
So it wasn’t broken. It just needed updating. Which feels unfair. If something needs updating to keep existing, is it really alive?
In summary: Bought a Firestick I didn’t need because I fell asleep during murder shows and ignored an email. It survived Arctic conditions. I don’t know if I’m still subscribed to something. And I still don’t know how Barnaby keeps ending up at gunpoint.
Three out of five. It’s good in the snow.
