An Extremely Poor User Experience
It is difficult to overstate just how disappointing the Courtside 1891 website is. From the outset, the user is confronted with a host of frustrations that collectively make for a thoroughly disheartening experience.
Navigation and Accessibility Issues
• The navigation is exceptionally poor, making it a real challenge to locate the content one wishes to see. Simple tasks are rendered difficult due to a confusing and unintuitive interface.
• Attempting to unsubscribe from the service is an exercise in futility; not only is the process obscure, but the site fails to respond to direct inquiries regarding cancellation. This lack of support only adds to the overall sense of frustration.
Security Features Hindering Usability
• Recent additions to the site's security, such as the "I'm not a robot" checks, have only compounded the problems. Users are required to select images featuring buses, bicycles, crosswalks, and similar items, but the picture quality is so poor that identifying the correct images is nearly impossible. This is particularly galling for long-term subscribers of three to five years, who are nonetheless subjected to these tedious barriers.
Login Difficulties Across Devices
• To make matters worse, there are glaring inconsistencies in how the site manages logins across devices. For instance, a password that is accepted without issue on a PC may inexplicably be rejected on an Android TV, preventing access altogether.
Concerns about FIBA's Partnership
It is deeply disappointing that FIBA, the international basketball association, has chosen to partner with a company displaying such a lack of professionalism. This association reflects poorly on FIBA itself and raises legitimate concerns about its standards, especially when compared to organisations like Euroleague.

No cancel subscription button as one needs to send an e-mail and respond to the auto-respond with the reason of the cancellation.

Worst then 1 star…i have subscribe for Euro 2025…and the first 3 games that i was interested I couldn’t watch. After numerous mails and requests for refund, their response was that on technical side they found a problem and resolved it. Worst experience ever…but I will continue to ask for my refund

Useless. I bought the FIBA Eurobasket access, and they have not released the games on demand as advertised, and are not responding to emails.

Scam company. I purchased the a package to watch the eurobasket, and one day it just downgraded me for no reason. I cannot watch the games now, and obviously you cannot reach out to them. The average reply from them by email is 2-3 business days. Meanwhile I am loosing all the action. Its beyond annoying that the dont have a live chat, or phone to reach out. Never again with them.

stopped seeing my subscription midgame. kept asking me to buy the annual subscription... horrible

Watching Eurobasket. Suddenly stops streaming, and you get to see only game info. Rediculus service.

If you’re in Australia, DO NOT buy any subscriptions from them. It’s an absolute joke/nightmare app.
Doesn’t work properly. Issues with speed, etc etc.

Courtside1891 is a scam, full stop.

How can a company like this operate?
They charged me £14.99 for the most useless streaming service in internet history.
Matches are not 'live' and are cut mid-stream without prior warning.

I purchased the app today. It is supposed to cast to my TV via AirPlay and it does not work. I tried everything and I am stuck watching the games on my little phone.

After a miserable world cup performance, i gave it a try for the eurobasket. I'm 2 quarters into game 1 and had already 3 complete shutdowns of the game and several buffering lags...

That's stealing money from customers

I was told that if I subscribe and pay for a game, I can watch it live. It turns out that I could only watch live updates after the website had taken my money so do not believe them as they do not live stream games. Afterwards they said that some games are blocked in the country that I reside in, so why even provide the option to watch the game and take my money if that is not possible?

Subscribed for the FIBA tournament. The app was terrible, games kept buffering despite good internet and then asked to turn off auto renew and they ignored my email. But a year later still charged me! Still trying to cancel, it’s not just an email like the FAQs say. Avoid at all costs!

They do not provide the paid service, their customer support keeps ignoring you. Stay away

After multiple emails and actions to cancel my Courtside 1891 subscription, they confirmed it will cancel automatically, but it did not cancel after all. I have just received a renewal letter stating that if I do not do anything, the subscription will be extended. I am contacting them again for the cancellation.
The only thing that may work is to challenge every charge they put on your credit card and attach your email correspondence to them as a proof.

I wrote 5 days before subscribtion ends (including weekend). But no response trough that time and they took my money from the card.
Sreaming also need to improove, you can't stop during the live game, you can't roll back while streaming is not over. Comentators could improove as well.

They even DIDN'T answer me back trough 3weeks!

They write me back, cancel my subscribtion and did refund. I hope they will improove with video player and they respons time.

I followed all their instructions to cancel my subscription and withdrawing consent for payment of renewal. Despite this they removed money from my account. Having read other reviews this appears to be their standard practice. They have not refunded the money and I intend to dispute the transaction with my bank.

The streaming service they provide is also hopeless.

Basically a scam. Bought the subscription last year for the world cup. Could not watch any games and the one game I finally managed to play was crashing all the time despite being on fibre with excelent speed.

This year, I have, despite writing an e-mail to them to cancel my subscription (you can't cancel it yourself manually in control panel, you HAVE to write to support)
been charged another yearly subscription... A few emails later they have finally canceled my subscription but are insisting they can't refund for subscription payments. AVOID at all costs!
edit: they have refunded me, but the review stands - avoid.
