Dont let the veneer fool you,It would appear this company is now defunct however they have the audacity to advertise Black Friday deals and take customers money and not fulfill orders. This deliberate attempt to obtain monies from customers with no intention of supplying the purchased goods is surely illegal? This also appears to have been happening for months yet nothing seems to have been done about it? Just wish I had seen the other trustpilot reviews before buying from them! (Reported to Trading Standards)
Terrible experience -similar to others below
Similar experience to others below. Order not fulfilled after a month, but money debited immediately from account. Pursuing Debit dispute through my bank to have money returned. Update: bank refunded payment to me within a couple of days. Was then sent a Hermes delivery notification a week ago (after notifying my bank of the situation), but still no sign of order. Definitely to be avoided.

I wish I’d read the reviews on here first!!!! Item delivered in good time. But unfortunately need to return. Tired ringing- number not in use, multiple emails sent- no reply. Sent item back to address stated on website (signed for service) - tracking states recipient no longer at address. Am reporting to trading standards!!

BUYER BEWARE - have paid for three items on two separate orders. None were fulfilled. No phone line - the one on the website does not work, the owner's telephone that I have for HARRY TAYLOR-BERKELEY does not work. I have sent a number of emails, used their customer service portal. You've guessed it, NO RESPONSE. I have contacted the supplier/manufacturer of the items (it seems Crofton and Hall act as middle men) said 2/3rd of the items were not even in stock and have been discontinued - Crofton and Hall however still owe me the return of my money. Visa have been contacted, next stop legal action. They are uncontactable, simply awful. One star is one star too many. This is totally unacceptable and disgraceful and as it stands in my opinion is theft. Plain and simple.

I wish I had read these reviews before placing an order on their website. I received an email from the company stating the order was going to be delivered, however it never arrived. I have emailed, messaged on Instagram and have had no response. I left comments on their posts on Instagram, and they were deleted. It's disgusting that their website is still operating and innocent people are giving them money, basically they are robbing people!

I cannot see how this company is legitimate and having read some reviews my fears are realised. I purchased some shoes weeks ago and when I received an email saying they had shipped I thought it strange that there was no tracking number. Weeks have gone by without receiving anything and when I have tried to contact Crofton & Hall there is no phone number for them that works. I have tried email, Twitter and the chat function on the website but no response. I honestly don’t know how I can get my money back now. There was no option for PayPal so I cannot open a dispute. I cannot find any pictures of their so called “Department Store” online so this has to be a fake site - be warned!
Edit: I have raised a “Transactional Dispute” with Bank of Ireland and will post my updates
Edit 2: I have now made a complaint to Citizen Advice Consumer Helpline who are passing on C&H details and my complaint to Trading Standards UK - Ref: 16960264 - I would urge others to do the same

My husband bought me a gift for my birthday in July, it arrived quickly but was completely the wrong order. We have tried contacting them via email, live chat, facebook and Instagram to no avail... I mean we've not had any acknowledgement whatsoever. I honestly don't know how to get the money back, I was not expecting this from a company that looks so well established, it's all lies... Avoid this company at ALL costs!! I shop online ALOT and I have never had such misfortune of trading with such a repulsive company. They are quick enough to take your money but not give it back! I placed an order with them well over a month ago, they sent the wrong item. Live chatted them numerous times, called their non-existent number and emailed them twice, no answer! I then tried live chatting them again asking for a discount code to see if they would reply to that.. which they DID. This reinforcing that they are quick enough to take your money! I still haven’t received my refund. These people are the lowest of the low. I have taken this matter further and WILL CONTINUE to do so until I am refunded.
Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere, it’s not worth the distress of having to BATTLE to get your money back. They should be shut down. Frauds.

Don't buy from here. It's a month since I ordered, they took my money and nothing has arrived. After a week I emailed customer service and they said the order is being dispatched directly from the brand (what?) and since then I've tried to contact them 5 times but they don't reply.
Total Scam
Do not buy anything from their website. Worst online shopping experience by far. I bought items for almost 400£ and they sent me the wrong order and UPS asked me 180€ in taxes even though I paid the VAT. Then I tried to contact them to get a refund or to get my order without any success. They dont reply to their emails they dont answer the phone and the online chat is not working. To this day a month after my order I dont have my money back and I dont have my order. The parcel is somewhere in a UPS warehouse. This is outrageous.
The worst customer service ever
Crofton and hall has a unique customer service: IGNORE complaining customers. They do not respond to emails, chats or twitter.
I ordered a coat. To my disappointment the duties on this coat were 150 euro (thanks to brexit), I discovered the moment UPS was at my doorstep. Alltough C&H claimed shipping EU is for free, I should have read the disclaimer, my fault. One could argue "the shipping free-claim" was misleading, but hey I accept my responsibility. I refused the parcel and the parcel was returned by UPS to C&H. But guess what: C&H refused the returned parcel and refuses to refund me. The parcel is in a warehouse somewhere now. I emailed, called, chatted, and twittered. No life signs from C&H. Are they for real or just a scam?
My advise: just don't order anything from this very very customer unfriendly business.

Please do not use this company I placed a order for a coat which was very expensive it still hasn't arrived and the phone line doesn't work email no replies and live chat doesn't work. I am concerned about their trading and will be reporting them to resolver or trading standards to get my money back.

15/4 before placing my order. My Order still hasn’t been delivered ( a month after it was placed ) and all attempts at communication to find out what is going on/seek a refund have been met with silence. Very disappointing.
