I recently bought a MacBook air from the Blanchardstown store. The workers have a habit of ignoring younger people and unless you specifically ask them you want something they won’t approach you. I c... See more

6 euro click and collect is ridiculous. You’d want it delivered to your house for that. The website is terrible.

I placed an order for a shark vaccum cleaner for €170 on the 14th of March and also paid €7 for delivery, I received a message that a dpd driver would be delivering but I never received my item. I then contacted currys about it and since then it has being one thing or the other, being passed around different agents saying different things I am so sick of it I have asked for a refund, asked how long it was going to take, replied that it is under investigation, it has been 3 whole weeks now I don't have my item or and i am out of money. I didn't know currys was this useless I would never order a large item for delivery again from them. I also regret not using PayPal
Never again

Only ever 1 person at repair and support section and a queue that moves very very slowly. Desperately need more staff in this area of the store!!! Only interested in sales it seems. Phone number given but they never called to say when to collect. Total lack of communication. No direct line to the store when I try to ring them..so I have to keep coming to store in person. Nobody on the generic phone line for currys has any clue about my issue number. Took over a week just to put mcafee security on a laptop. Nobody could tell me if the other small issue I had asked them to check had actually been checked.

Update: Wednesday 6th May. Still no response from any of the customer service channels. Sent this post as requested with code, no reply to that either. Very disappointing.
Avoid the online site, there are better options. Ordered an item online for collection from my local store. Waited a week, contacted customer services, no one could help. Popped into store (who were helpful and the best route in future), item was in stock but could not give it to me as the online order was not 'fulfilled' or confirmation email for collection sent. Eventually rang customer services and asked me to cancel the order online even though the item was in stock at the store I wanted to collect from. Multiple interactions with customer services, no resolution. Still awaiting credit. A truly awful online experience and very disappointing customer service channels. You will waste a lot of time buying from curry online if you have an issue of any sort.

I ordered something for pick up and was waiting to get an email to confirm it was ready. No email ever comes, the pick up date passes by so I try to reach out incase of delays. Tried to contact customer care to find out what was going on. They autogenerated a case number but totally ghosted me. Tried to phone the store but got through to possibly a call center - took quite a while to speak to a human, but eventually a man told me part of my order was still in England and wouldn't tell me how much longer I would have to wait. Weeks go by. Eventually got my things yesterday after I went in person to the store, but they were supposed to be available on April 12th. When I asked what happened they just shrugged and looked like they hoped I would not make a fuss. Extremely difficult to try and get any sort of communication, the shop seems very dysfunctional and I will be avoiding in future.

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Currys regarding a washing machine purchase and replacement. The appliance has had ongoing issues since I received it, including not washing clothes properly and leaving them with a persistent smell.
Despite multiple repair attempts arranged through the manufacturer, the problem has continued to return. I was also advised to go through different routes (manufacturer, warranty provider, etc.), which has resulted in a lot of back and forth without a clear resolution.
Customer service has not provided a consistent or effective solution, and I have been repeatedly redirected rather than having the issue properly resolved.
Overall, I feel the appliance has not been fit for purpose and the support process has been extremely frustrating and time-consuming. I would not feel confident purchasing a major appliance from Currys again based on this experience.

Awful customer service experience. Passed from billy to jack. Nobody wants to sort my problem. Major electrical fault on a hob & Currys have no one with any common sense to assess the situation and resolve it all just passing the issue around the houses. Disgraceful!. Product still under warranty.
NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE FROM CURRYS.

Bought microwave on Sunday in store 1.5hs from my home. Got home to find that the spindle the plate sits on is missing. Have spoken with customer service Mon and Tuesday and told phone back. Today told they could do nothing for me but would have to go back to store. Was told yesterday I couldn't go to store. Now have to travel 1.5 hours for there issue. 🤬

I got to the store in Mahon just 10 minutes before it was due to close - I really needed to replace the screen protector on my phone. I wished I had purchased the Zagg protector when I got my phone in January. So I asked for that...
SHABIN helped me even though it was nearly closing time. He was really helpful & careful. It actually takes a bit of precision & time, I felt guilty but Shabin was very nice about it. Thank you!
Now I have a great protector & a warrenty for it too
Appalling customer service from Currys! I bought a Siemens coffee machine online from Ireland and they advertised incorrect features of it online so I tried to Return it since a month ago but the online team is unable to book a return for me . Every time I try to book a return collection it gets stuck and it never reaches their carrier so I have to call and try again. I also tried to get a manager from their online team to call me back but that is near impossible. I also tried to call a number in Ireland as some agents in the online team suggested but that gets rerouted to other teams outside Ireland. I still have the coffee machine and still waiting for someone to give me a resolution . I am hoping that a person can finally reach out to me to fix this issue. Update from 1st of May . We sent a complain lt via email the email indicated in their answer to Trustpilot this week as per Curry’s request but have received no reply whatsoever.

I’ve used Currys in the UK and here in Ireland on past occasions without any issues, so I didn’t think to check Trustpilot reviews.
Big mistake.
We bought a TV in the Mahon Point store and arranged for delivery the following week. The delivery date was printed on our receipt. Before the delivery date we received a text message confirming delivery and timeframe. The TV was not delivered. And so began the painful experience of emails and telephone calls complete with generic AI replies requesting the information I had already given them, and the promise of a phone call from the store, which never happened… and on… and on… We did finally receive our TV (hence 2 stars) but God help us if it develops a fault.
Suffice to say, that’s the last time we’ll give Currys our business.
(And no doubt I’ll get their standard "AI Tracy" reply in due course!)

The reason I am writing this is I purchased several items from this company one being a tablet I decided to exchange it for a larger one but was told by them you cannot exchange it because you've opened it , my answer to that was of course I've opened it how would I know it's not suitable for it's use anyway my issue is that isn't really acceptable seeing something in a shop doesn't mean it's suitable in your home or fit for it's purpose also one particular staff member was playing on his phone until I called him over . Certainly not impressed and will not be using them again .

Don’t get a washing machine fitted by them. They use a horrible short stiff hose with a plastic screw that brakes easy and they took my blue main switch off and tightened My copper emergency tap so tight, that not even the fire brigade could turn it off. My whole kitchen was flooded and when you call them you are calling a call centre in Pakistan and get no support. Cowboy plumbers!

Curry’s Liffey Valley, I’ve had such a bad experience over the last few months with them. But today I had a staff member named Peter helping me and he was so helpful and friendly and so knowledgeable, I was very impressed, thanks Peter and Linda for all the help and support
I can see why you have one star reviews.
My wife ordered something to be delivered to a store, we actually needed this item before a particular date, as a summary, no delivery, no reply from a query for 4 days at which point we get an email promising a reply after 72 hours / the order last lost and your telephone number service just finds a way to hang up on you (why bother with it?).
I have had previous bad experiences but safe to say, you have degraded your service again! Lesson learned - avoid online ordering.
