The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, good to have this shop in the town.

I ordered some tyres from the online arm of this company Bankrupt Bike Parts
You can collect according to them after two hours or therabouts. Ordered Sundayevening.Took a 4 hour round trip from Cannock the following morning. Confirmation email hadn't arrived yet. Went into Hawk Cycles who sent me to an adjacent locked door where you have to telephone them. I explained what I was there for. They said I'd have to wait until 2 or 3 o clock
I explained that I had a child to pick up from school im Cannock
This made no difference to the voice on the end of the phone behind the locked door.
Disgusting customer service

Simon at the Derby branch is an absolute star and a real asset to the company. Due to his impeccable and educational attention to detail and thoroughness we received a 5 star service on our bikes and Simon’s integrity has been the the incentive for us to return to Hawks and buy all our cycle accessories. Don’t go anywhere else. Simon (and the counter staff) are rare gems these days. We’ve recommended Hawks to our cycle group. To the boss…give Simon at least a pat on the back if not more. Easy to order with clear dimensions for the item shown. Delivery faster than expected, and as it was a birthday gift that was good. Handlebars fitted and just what was needed.

Everything they promised they did, the service the provide is 2nd to none.

Just what we needed for our grandson plenty of stock to choose from online and quick click and collect service with competitive pricing and friendly staff

Staff were unhelpful in store. We then went to order online and when delivered the stickers/decals on the bike were bubbled and half off. Not inclined to contact the store in regards to this as the “family run” business were not helpful when we visited to browse and purchase a bike. We were told if we ordered online it would take 3-4 weeks, when we ordered online it took 4 days (it would have been 3 days if DPD had not failed the delivery on the date given).

Sent the wrong item, then want you to pay postage to return the wrongly sent item or even pay £20 for a courier to pick it up and return the item. What a joke

Simon at Cycle King Cambridge sorted me out for a good second-hand bike that met all my requirements. Have had it for a few weeks and it has held up to a long commute and looks good (but not so good that I'm overly worried about it being stolen - ideal). Overall very happy.

I recommend this workshop :) I got a high-quality product for a reasonable and fair price.

From placing the order, to delivery to the store and finally collecting the bike, the whole experience was excellent. The staff at the Yardley Cycle Kings store were brilliant, friendly, helpful and explained everything clearly. We walked away very happy, and most importantly, our 9-year-old is an extremely happy bunny with his new Selcano mountain bike! 🚲😁

Just one tiny hiccup: when we placed the order, the website stated that the bike came with hydraulic brakes, but we were later contacted and advised that they were actually mechanical brakes. The website has since been updated, so hopefully that avoids any confusion for future customers.

Other than that, we honestly couldn't fault the service.

Thank you to the team at Cycle Kings, and we'll see you in 8 weeks for the free service, which is also included with the bike. 👍

Great experience, I had a bit of difficulty in putting my bike together one of the pedals was faulty - quick email sorted it, Richard was very helpful and I received a new pedal the next morning.
