Having researched conversion kits for my bike I found the Swytch kit in stock at Cycle World and it arrived within 2 days. Fitting was straightforward and it makes a huge difference for my 76yr old legs in hilly North Wales and makes cycling more of a pleasure again.
Title: Misleading stock & zero communication – Hope F22 pedals
Review:
I ordered Hope F22 pedals because the website clearly said “in stock.” After waiting, I realised I hadn’t received any shipping confirmation. I had to contact the store myself to find out that the pedals are actually out of stock – no one even bothered to send me an email about it. This is completely unacceptable and misleading. If an item is not available, it should not be shown as in stock. Poor communication and a bad customer experience.
Wow, amazing place, they worked with me every step of the way, found the best price to achieve what I needed. Couldn’t be happier.
Specifically ordered from this supplier 2 cotter pins as the photograph showed the milling starting near the base. But on receipt the milling was further up the pin, so not as advertised.
The milling was not even flat, it had. a curve to it. Total rubbish and of no use at all.
Having problems with the derailleur change on my brand new Brompton P-line electric. Took the bike in to Cycleworld North End branch where they fixed the problem with excellent speed and service, even though I hadn't bought the bike from them.
They will now be my go-to store for getting the bike serviced/software upgrades etc.
Why you ask, not 5 stars ??
The manager knows :-) !!
We searched for a Burley Bark Ranger online and found that they were scarce until new supplier deliveries in October. Cycle World had one left and reserved it for us, ‘Wes’ looked after us and assured we didn’t need to pay a deposit. After a few days we travelled to Portsmouth and bought the Burley at a very competitive price indeed, great comms throughout and professional service from Wes. Great shop with a wide selection of cycling wear / equipment - worth the long trip.
