Britney was amazing

Brittany your Customer Support Representative is the best! She was so helpful and my experience was that she really cares about DCU members, and Brittany was so caring and patient.

Julie did a nice job recovering for…

Julie did a nice job recovering for DCU. Our account access was changed without notification leaving us unable to see our mobile account. She also helped me to understand I should open at least an advantage account and perhaps a 3 month note. Thanks Julie

Maryame Provided Exceptional Customer Service

I had an excellent experience speaking with Maryame. I reached out regarding a number of different issues, and she was incredibly helpful, attentive, and patient throughout the entire conversation.

Maryame took the time to make sure all of my questions and concerns were thoroughly addressed and that no details were overlooked. She provided helpful links, reminders, and a significant amount of useful information regarding the tools, resources, and available offers that could help me achieve my goals.

She also helped me better understand different opportunities and strategies to improve my financial situation, access the best rates available, and take advantage of the resources offered to members.

Her customer service was outstanding. She was knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and genuinely focused on helping me find the best solutions. Maryame is doing an amazing job, and I really appreciate the level of care and effort she put into assisting me.

Unable to choose my own Pin

As of right now, July 2026, I am mostly satisfied. However, a big NO for me is the inability to choose my own debit card pin. Their system auto-generates one for you. I think this is absolutely ridiculous. They say it's for security purposes. What's the difference in a computer picking a pin and a responsible person picking a pin? Nothing. So, it's not for security purposes. It's just a control the customer mechanism. I haven't decided yet if it's a deal breaker but I am fuming about it. So far, customer service has been good and everything else has been going well. The app is decent. I did notice that a few things don't show up on the app, but will from a browser. Like card settings shows a blank page for me. I'm sorry but I am trying not to be pissed off about not being able to choose my own pin. Who's remembering some random numbers a computer gave you? I choose my pins very meticulously. This messes with my flow. May change to a 3 star rating later.

My problem was a problem in that DCU created

My problem was a problem in that DCU stopped sending me VISA card fraud protection alerts and my card was blocked without me knowing. So, while I had good service, the problem was a DCU problem. Similarly, my last issue was my VISA card deactivated, again without my knowledge. I had reported potential fraud, which was resolved by the vender weeks before the card was suddenly cancelled without notice. This is particularly troubling, because we are often travelling relying on the card while abroad.

bill payer update issues

I was having difficulty with a change in account information for Verizon, Not sure whether I could edit the Verizon account, or, if not, how to proceed with a new account with the same merchant. The representative was patient and thorough, while letting me work through the syncing issues with Verizon. She was not detered when I got error messages, and we worked together to find the solution. She saved my sanity, which I brought into question as I was trying to figure out the labyrinth of things I needed to do to get the new account info to work, Kudos to her for hanging in there with me. I felt we were PARTNERING in finding the solution
