Unfortunately after 3 months , several emails filling in a contract and about 15 calls 3 of them today, being promised a call back today from a manager and nothing at all.Please avoid this company.You have to pay for bags up front.And if the service is as bad at it as it has been to trying and get a contract with them goodness knows what it would be like to actually work with them. Rep does not answer the phone answer phone staff in main office promise call backs and finally admitted there was a paper trail .I have given up ...plenty of people begging for business let hope they survive. Not really worth 1 star

Worst company ever, business rubbish not picked up more than 3 weeks , numerous calls and no help , street full of rubbish and they still don't care , be careful don't renew the contract as this company's rubbish drivers are useless and keeping blaming road block blah blah for not picking the rubbish

DCW just tell me its been rearanged but never turn up and send an email saying CASE CLOSED? perhaps if you waited for collection confirmation before clossing my enquiry. i really dont understand why they get so angry im just asking them to do the thing i pay them for?

You pay DCW to take your waste away. Some days they take it, some days they don’t. They’ll claim you didn’t put your rubbish out even when you did. If you want a simple service where you don’t have to constantly waste your time emailing or calling to ask why your waste is still there, go elsewhere.

Service has been poor with 4 out of last 5 waste collections being missed. Emails not be responded to / taking weeks. Even after speaking to them the collection still hasn’t be made. Shame as used to be very good.

Quite simply the worst contract waste company I have ever worked with. Collections are so inconsistent, and you can't get through to anyone on the Customer Service line to complain to. There is never a call to apologise, or to arrange an alternative pickup date; they just leave you to fend for yourself.

Like many other customers, our bins never get emptied on time, When they do arrive,they are now using a transit van,to take away our bins and just replace them,with ones theyve brought, !! This time,they brought a bin with a very badly broken lid,with a huge chunk missing on it,which my husband cut himself on,
They told us at the beginning,nothing goes to landfill,everything is recyled,So we ordered four bins,for our business,for them to come along,very early, We are not normally around at that time, and tip all four bins into one lorry,so all items no use for recycling, and then everything goes into an incinerator, Not what the sales rep, said would happen, and causing us a lot more expense,than we actually needed to pay,and months of thinking we were doing right by the environment, Wagon driver ignored us,when we asked ,why everything wasnt seperated,
Now the government rules have changed,they cant tip it into one wagon,so they bring old broken bins on the back of a transit van,??Very odd behaviour,
If they come knocking on your door,send them away, they lie, they dont deliver the service they promise you, dont collect your waste,and then when they do collect it ,weeks late, charge you being over the weight limit,and still charge you ,for collections,on dates they havent collected,

DCW are shocking, and getting worse. This is my second review, we leave them this week. They fall to empty your bins every week, but still invoice you for missed collections. They can't even get a credit not right!! Been a customer for 8 years. I don't know how the Manager is still employed? Its a mystery.

I don't like writing bad reviews but I`ve used DCW for many years without any issues but since they were taken over they have either been late picking up waste. Today I`ve tried to ring them and no reply. The phone just rings out. Very disappointing especially when it used to be run so well.

Having being with DCW for quite some time, they recently started missing collections, and then sent an email saying they were not able to access to collect - they tried to collect at 6:00AM knowing full well the business is closed at that time, followed by this is the only time we are in your area now so we cannot provide a service anymore! What a rubbish company!😂

The worst company I have ever dealt with in 35 years in hospitality. The transport manager should be fired for incompetence!! Constantly fail to empty your bins. I feel sorry for the customer services team. The trouble is, the competition (Coastal Recycling) are just as bad!

On January 25th I had the misfortune of meeting one of the DCW lorries at roadworks clearly marked MERGE IN TURN.
The work’s lorry was the second vehicle that should have let me merge toward the Devon Motel. The DCW driver was dangerous. He was two vehicles behind me when the ‘merge in turn’ was apparent but instead he aggressively drove his lorry so that my car was forced into the dead end point of the traffic cones.
I took the trouble of a detour into their Marsh Barton depot where the driver made a speedy exit from his vehicle.
On my taking a photograph of the number plate the passenger approached me aggressively addressing me inappropriately as 'love' and asked me what my problem was. He went on to ask if I knew what a contra flow system meant ? There wasn’t a contra flow system !
At this point a duty manager appeared and said that he would look at the driver’s dash camera and deal with the employee.
I took more time to message the company through their website asking that they confirm that the incident had actually been dealt with.
I received an automated ‘message saying:
’Thanks for contacting us! We will get in touch with you shortly’.
I’ve heard nothing.
Dangerous, disrespectful and disappointing has been my experience of this company; not professional behaviour.
