I've been investing on Debitum since 2020. Mostly good experiences myself, good returns, great loyalty program. But you must check yourself, do your due diligence, there has been some controversy around loan originators, concentration and refinancing risk, etc. For now, I continue investing. After all, it's one of the few MiFID II platforms, regulated by Latvijas Banka.

Hello, i have been using it since summer 2025, so far so good, i receive every day/month on the time predicted. I didnt actually tried to make an withdraw tho because i always re-invest my gains, although i would prefer another deposit method to avoid international transfer taxes since i´m not from Latvian.

Terrible experience just trying to open an account. If you are an investor, they make your life extremely difficult, asking for document after document regarding your income. Even if you have money available in your bank account and want to invest, they still don’t accept it. Not worth the time or energy. I was never able to get my account verified, even though I have accounts with other reputable platforms, so I requested the deletion of my account. Meanwhile they answered to my e-mail explaining that document was only to improve limits, I will see how it goes.

So far, everything has gone just fine: interest, tax, verifying, solutions to problems. I invest via Debitum Investments because it has one of the highest interest on loans, a community forum where also workers of Debitum take part, and a working customer support be it via email or web conferencing.

Good investment assets - forests, lands, which stands out compared to consumer loan p2p platforms.

I advise my wife to open an account with them. I had one myself for many years. She invested EUR 5k. I invested 11k. They have a refer a friend program. For each referal they pay you a small amount of EUR 20,- i believe. The do not wanna pay because it's my wife and not a friend...

My wife and I have separate bankaccounts and Investments. Debitum says I misled them and want to harvest a bonus. I feel really upset by this and thinking of leaving the platform. There are more friendly and genuine platforms. This statement of them puts me with my feet on the ground.

Invested here since several years. Smoothly running plattform. Never any problems. I was about the give up my investments here years ago but with CEO change new wind came in and now I am happy that I have even doubled my investment on debitum.

The interest range is quite big from lower interest rates like 8% to quite high interest rates like 16%. Cashbacks can be really received here on the plattform and make investing even more attractive. The track record so far is brilliant. Thank you for such smooth operation!

I don't recognize the issues in the many recent one-star reviews. I suspect it's a coordinated lender or Disinformation of debitum. I have invested since 2021 and the only issue I have encountered is delayed loans due to the war in Ukraine.
I find it safe to invest in Debitum as it is regulated under MiFID II — one of the most stringent regulatory frameworks in the EU.

I have never felt so misled by an investment platform. I invested €12,000 with Debitum Investments after reading their “TrustScore” of 4 out of 5 on Trustpilot, and seeing the 81 reviews, which seemed decent at first. I was looking for alternative investment options, and the platform’s claim of providing business loans across Europe seemed promising.

Unfortunately, my experience was far from positive.

Lack of Transparency: The platform markets itself as an alternative investment solution, but there’s a massive gap in information regarding the businesses you’re actually funding. I had no clear picture of how my money was being used or who was receiving the loans.

Missed Payments and Delays: For the past several months, I’ve been facing significant delays in receiving my expected returns. Not once did they offer any clear explanation for these delays, and their customer service is practically non-existent.

Inconsistent Communication: Whenever I tried to reach out for an update, I received vague responses that barely addressed my concerns. This has caused a lot of frustration, as I was simply left in the dark about my investments.

Total Loss: After months of waiting and hoping, I have lost the entire €12,000 investment. There were no warnings or steps taken to safeguard the investment, and there has been no effort to reimburse or compensate affected investors.

No Accountability: Despite my multiple attempts to get in touch, there has been no significant follow-up. Their "TrustScore" does not reflect the reality of the platform. A score of 4 out of 5 is misleading when the platform fails to meet basic expectations of transparency, communication, and customer service.

In conclusion, I regret my decision to invest with Debitum Investments. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and ultimately the loss of my entire investment of €12,000 have left me deeply disappointed. I would not recommend this platform to anyone looking for a reliable investment opportunity.

Ich habe mich noch nie so von einer Investmentplattform in die Irre geführt gefühlt. Ich investierte 12.000 € bei Debitum Investments, nachdem ich ihren "TrustScore" von 4 von 5 auf Trustpilot gesehen hatte, sowie die 81 Bewertungen, die zunächst ganz ordentlich wirkten. Ich suchte nach alternativen Investitionsmöglichkeiten, und die Plattform, die mit der Idee von Geschäftsdarlehen in Europa warb, klang vielversprechend.

Leider war meine Erfahrung alles andere als positiv.

Mangel an Transparenz: Die Plattform präsentiert sich als alternative Investitionslösung, doch es gibt eine enorme Informationslücke bezüglich der Unternehmen, die tatsächlich die Darlehen erhalten. Ich hatte keine klare Vorstellung davon, wie mein Geld verwendet wurde oder wer die Darlehen bekam.

Verpasste Zahlungen und Verzögerungen: In den letzten Monaten gab es erhebliche Verzögerungen bei der Auszahlung meiner erwarteten Rückflüsse. Nie wurde mir eine klare Erklärung für diese Verzögerungen gegeben, und der Kundensupport ist praktisch nicht vorhanden.

Inkonsequente Kommunikation: Jedes Mal, wenn ich versuchte, ein Update zu erhalten, bekam ich vage Antworten, die meine Bedenken kaum ansprachen. Das führte zu großer Frustration, da ich einfach im Dunkeln gelassen wurde, was meine Investitionen betraf.

Gesamter Verlust: Nach monatelangem Warten und Hoffen habe ich die gesamten 12.000 € verloren. Es gab keine Warnungen oder Maßnahmen, um die Investition abzusichern, und es wurde keine Anstrengung unternommen, betroffenen Investoren eine Entschädigung zu gewähren.

Keine Verantwortung: Trotz meiner mehrfachen Versuche, Kontakt aufzunehmen, gab es keine nennenswerte Rückmeldung. Der "TrustScore" ist sehr irreführend, wenn die Plattform grundlegende Erwartungen an Transparenz, Kommunikation und Kundenservice nicht erfüllt.

Abschließend bereue ich meine Entscheidung, mit Debitum Investments zu investieren. Der Mangel an Transparenz, die schlechte Kommunikation und letztlich der Verlust meiner gesamten Investition von 12.000 € haben mich tief enttäuscht. Ich würde diese Plattform niemandem empfehlen, der eine zuverlässige Investitionsmöglichkeit sucht.

Bit confused about the reports on insolvency of Debitum Investments - I was first positively suprised of the P2P concept of debitum.investments but it might seem like fraud again.

Extremely pointless, obstructive and unfounded verification process and questionnaire at a level that completely does not correspond to the service they provide and why - for 7 options offered by two providers, therefore de facto no diversification and absolutely ridiculous investment offers
Customer support does not communicate properly.

What nonsense are you talking about? Your investment questionnaire asks questions that are completely unrelated to the second investment. I have not seen such a complicated questionnaire even at Interactive Brookers. I trade with financial derivatives and stocks. And your so-called protection of some banks does not protect investors at all in practice because it does not address whether the projects will be repaid or not, which is what you should mainly focus on and not on bluffing people. But it only addresses the fact that you will not run away with the money we have in your savings accounts and that they are essentially separated in some way. But the protection of investments as such is not addressed at all by any Latvian bank or supervision. The European Union is a stupid institute that only bothers people with its regulations and in practice it has almost no impact. Besides, all honest people are extremely irritated.
And why am I actually going through all this to see six loans from two providers that you keep spinning around?

Amazing P2P platform, the only thing missing and costing a star in the review is a loyalty program that many competitors have. I hope Debitum adds it to value loyal and higher investing investors.
