One of the many claims Deeper Networks makes is that its devices allow you to use many services such as YouTube ads-free, therefore saving you AT LEAST $150/year.

I received my Deeper Mini at the end of July 2023 then at the end of November 2023 the following message appeared if I tried to watch something on YouTube:
"Ad blockers violate YouTube's Terms of Service
It looks like you may be using an ad blocker. Video playback is blocked unless YouTube is allowlisted or the ad blocker is disabled.
Ads allow YouTube to be used by billions worldwide.
You can go ad-free with YouTube Premium and creators can still get paid from your subscription"

The new firmware to fix the problem took a month.

Move forward to the end of March 2024 when again YouTube was blocked but also Google search!

I opened a new case on 28/Mar/2024 and on 08/May/2024 I was told to "wait patiently". The case remains open after 66 days and they do not seem to be in any rush to crack the problem.

Even when they resolve the issue, it will only be temporarily as I discovered on 09/MAY/2024 when I asked them if this is going to happen every time Google reacts to Deeper's Ad filter and they replied: "yes anytime google changes their architecture, we will have to perform either a hotfix or a full patch. We cannot predict the future patches google releases. This goes for every single app or device running android, iOS, windows, etc. No coder can predict the next update they will push, or new measures they will take. Please know the devs work very hard to keep up and attempt to stay ahead of it."

Then on 18/MAY/2024, they sent me the following message: "The devs want to know if you are getting any block or is it completely not working. The YouTube ad block will not block 100% of the ads but should have about a 90% filtration rate."

The 2 quotes above show that they are scamming the public and if they lie about ad filtering the chances are they are lying about other features too! For example, I am not too sure about the efficacy of their 7-layer firewall because my Bitdefender still detects Trojans and attacks from time to time.

UPDATE 09/06/2024
74 days have passed since I submitted my case and the problem remains unresolved.

What hope do I have when they acknowledge there is no reason for me to trust what they say?: "...As to the developers, we do not control their schedule or their time or how they allocate assignments. All we can do is provide you with the information they share with us.

What they have shared with us is that this issue will be resolved on v1.2.8 rel. Although I know they said the same thing about 1.2.7 rel. as well so there is no reason for you to trust what we say.

Thank you for your patience, and I do hope we can resolve this issue soon."

They don't even deserve 1 star!

Today I learned through googling that the latest firmware version 1.2.9.rel was pushed 4 days ago and Support never bothered to let me know.

It's been 89 days and 4 firmware updates (currently on 1.2.10.rel) since I open this case and I am still experiencing issues such as not being able to use Google Image Search which I fed back to support on 20/06/2024. To which they replied: "Okay. Thank you. I will check with our devs." on the following day and I have not heard back from them since!

It is pretty clear that their customer support service is as poor as their product.

Great product delivers exactly what it promises.

Really smooth and useful.
With deeper you have access to local internet of many countries and it can make you a lot of profit.

I’ve had my Deeper Mini for more than 2 years and I am satisfied with the device capabilities. Add blocking and DPN works very well for me. You can even be connected to multiple IPs for other apps or devices (works great in my case). Only incident I had with them is when their Helium miner got revoked, but still I eventually got replacement device which I am satisfied with. Also would recommend do to more research if you plan to invest in their cryptocurrency

Deeper Network is awesome. I have been using their products for 2 to 3 years. This is so much better than a VPN. I highly recommend their products.

Quick delivery to UK from the USA. Literally a plug and play experience for me - put it between my modem and router, using the supplied Cat5 cable. Using Smart Route, I could access sites from other countries, I just needed to clear my browser cache first.

Unfortunately I had multiple orders with them. They are scammers. Their customer service line is not available and when you leave a message, they never get back to you. Someone who calls himself Paul is such a thief and scammer. Don’t even think about buying from this Deeper Network company!

This product is not VPN, max speed is 10 Mbps if you plan to use for streaming apps it is not good at all. If I ask anything support they dont have answers, worst support I ever seen. It is better to pay yearly REAL VPN as this device is not good.

I dislike their business/technical model as to the way to retrieve your DPR balance when mining from the device. You can't just send your DPR balance from the device address to an external DPR wallet before having to go through their bridge and their bridge has only a maximum of 600,000 DPR transfers daily. My last 3 attempts have failed because of that limit and those 3 attempts I have been charged from my Metamask wallet around $0.17 cents each for gas fees which have failed because the bridge has exceeded it's daily limit. This is a very poor business practice (tactic?)

EDITED 1/14/2024: 0 stars if I could! Now it's impossible to collect your mined DPRs. My wallet is full of useless DPR coins, failing to transfer out every time I try. Message is always: "error: Not win", whatever that means. STAY AWAY FROM THIS!

Glorified scam. It does not work on any level all the promises are fake and false! They have no after sale support or ability to ask for a refund, I have had to raise an action with PayPal to try and get my money back! Shocking how this product can get away with all these false promises and and get away with it. In my world its called fraud

I'm writing this review after several weeks of testing and using the Deeper Networks Deeper SE device, and unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory.

The first issue that strikes me is the degraded speeds(see below). The device, which claims to ensure fast and secure internet connectivity, has consistently fallen short on this promise. My browsing experience has been plagued by slow loading times and frequent buffering, turning simple tasks into frustratingly long endeavors. This isn't just a minor inconvenience - it's a significant issue that severely hampers the device's usability and efficiency.

Furthermore, I've found myself unable to access crucial local banking and corporate networks. This is a major drawback, as these services are essential for both personal and professional activities. The inability to perform important financial transactions or access necessary work resources is not just an inconvenience; it's a deal-breaker. It's disappointing to see that Deeper Networks hasn't considered these basic user needs in their product design.

Lastly, I must mention the subpar customer support. Assistance from Deeper Networks has been elusive at best. I've reached out several times to address these issues, but my queries have been met with slow responses and generic troubleshooting tips that have done little to resolve the problems at hand. This lack of effective customer service only compounds the frustration caused by the device's performance issues.

In conclusion, the Deeper Networks Deeper SE device has not lived up to its promises. It's been a constant struggle with slow speeds, restricted access to crucial networks, and unhelpful customer support. While I was initially excited about the potential of this device, my experience has left me disappointed and frustrated. I hope Deeper Networks takes this feedback seriously and makes necessary improvements to their product and customer service. Until then, I cannot recommend the Deeper SE device.

I bought a Deeper Pico because it said it was Plug-and-Play with Zero Configuration (it wasn't) and unrestricted access to content from any country. But without configuration, it tried to load all of my content from the local country. After configuration, it worked some of the time... but not all.

I contacted Deeper's customer service, who were slow to respond, but came back to me repeatedly. After two firmware updates - it is now working perfectly, and it by far the best VPN I have ever used.

There is a lot if bizarre crypto stuff in their service offering, and on their website - which is of no interest to me, but the VPN does exactly what I need.

Working well. But not for earning money :D Wifi extender for 100$ and maybe 20$ income yearly

I have 2 devices from them. It's been working smoothly. I can watch Netflix from different countries. Taking Pico with me anywhere I go. It's super helpful when I went to Dubai, which is highly censored. I couldn't even make a call with the usual app I have. With Pico, I could call and still get my work done without worrying about being blocked. Customer service isn't bad. It could take a day or two to reply. But better than the experience I have with Amazon.

Scams. Not only the coin lost its value, but also I find it impossible to transfer the minimal rewards I had due to bug in the DPR-BSC bridge. I don't think they care anyway

It is such a huge shame how after 4 months of waiting for an order, the sender simply refunds the order. The order has been in my country for over a month under delivering and nothing happened. I tried to send over 10 emails to the sender and they never answered my emails. Even though they did not get my emails, would it not be a part of their services to check why the order has been freezing for over a month nobody knows where and not being delivered to the customer?
How they refund without asking the customer for a confirmation?
