Went to Dave to sort my driver out, which he did and showed videos of before and after. I then booked a package of seven which were well worth the money. He gives you confidence and explains things in a very clear way. He is so good I have had a further package to help reinforce.
I would highly recommend Dave, no matter what your handicap is.

I booked a series of lessons with Dave having been ‘away’ from the game for about 16 years; the lessons are conducted in a completely relaxed manner and with the aid of both tablet and phone video footage really helps to explain details Dave identifies that needs addressing.
Dave’s approach is completely professional and his lessons are followed up with an email recap including notes and video/photos.

I played golf, badly some years ago and packed up. Then after retiring wondered about giving it another try. I had a batch of seven lessons with Dave, what a difference. Why didn't I come back sooner. Dave constructs his lessons, easy going and freindly, so that you learn a different stoke each lesson. After the session he emails you with comments and photographs on how you have done and what to practice on. After the first 7 I followed up with a 9 x 9hole and a lesson batch. No matter what your level I am sure Dave could improve your game.

Spent an hour in front of screen with driver and 5 iron. Dave identified and resolved problems I was experiencing. He did not attempt to dismantle and rebuild my swing but instead made me think about what I was doing and gently altered things. First real test was the Seniors Qualifier and Stableford on Tuesday....the drives were straight and long and the fairway irons went like a dream...result 43 points and 2 shot reduction in handicap!
Feel very confident about my game at present; feel at this early stage of the season there is room for another couple of shots to come off but at first sign of trouble I'll be back for another session.

Booked 7 lessons last year and found them very helpful.
Dave works with your ability and limitations to get the best out of what you have. I have found a big improvement in my putting and
chipping and have a good foundation to go back to when my game leave me as it does all of us at some point.

Dave explains things well and the videos back up what he is saying. I always receive a breakdown of the lesson via email too!!

David Pain approaches his golf tuition with a scientific approach. He shows you by electronic means the errors in your golf swing, corrects them and
one is able to review the success of his coaching. As one of the older members of the Club, he also shows me great patience.

It is a pleasure having lessons with him and I highly recommend him.

Great coach! I have worked with Dave for a year now my game all round has improved significantly. My ball striking is the most consistent it's ever been and my putter has even started to work!

I booked a set of seven lessons with Dave in 2017 with some trepidation being a 28 handicapper with many many faults in my game. I need not have worried, he was friendly, supportive and offered really great advice. He let me lead the first lesson, asking me what I wanted to focus on and from there moved smoothly on to other aspects of my game. He uses iPad video to record your swing and plays it back to you to illustrate what he wants you to do and why you're not doing it. After each lesson you receive an email with a summary of what you have covered and what to focus on in the future. I would have no hesitation in recommending a similar course with him.

Thouroughly enjoyable 7 lessons taken with Dave & really felt that i got value for money.
Dave was able to pinpoint my weaknesses and show great patience using various tools and techniques to improve my stance / swing etc:

Was recommended Dave by a friend. Can honestly say his lessons were first class.

He identified my problem in no time and explained clearly in great detail of why I get my bad shot and what needs to be corrected. He provided me with some great drills, and notes from the lesson straight away for future reference. After I lesson I immediately booked a course with Dave and have seen all areas of my game improve!

Having seen my handicap creep up and up I decided to take some golf lessons with David on the lucky 7 package.

The lessons were great fun, professional and conducted in a relaxed manner. David even took the time to email some lesson notes over after each lesson were great to look back on during my own practice sessions.

My scoring has become a lot more consistent and in my last 3 competitions I have shot either level or under my handicap.
