I bought inhaler from e surgery to leave spare at home incase my kids and I lost the one we have then we would have spare, I didn't receive it because they put it on hold and didn't bother to refund me, so I contacted the live chat then he asked me why I need them since I wasn't due yet and I explained but he seems a bit slow since he proceeded to tell me it's dangerous for my kids and they should have yearly asthma review like he knows me or my kids, what bit didn't he understand that the inhalers was going to be spare? we always have asthma review every 6 month not yearly, he was very unprofessional and rude and I had to ask for a refund cause they put the order on hold but kept the money until I ask for my money back, never will use this pharmacy again.
Whoever told u my children under 18? Where did I mention the age of my children? It seems you know everything about, being unprofessional and making assumptions once again, all I was doing is purchasing spare to leave at home. And you never emailed me about the inhaler being on hold anyway won't be using your services again

First, I'd like to apologise for my colleague's conduct during your live chat. The manner in which your situation was handled was not to our professional standards, and I'm truly sorry for any offense caused. Please know that we take your feedback seriously.
To clarify our process: when orders are placed on hold, we do send notification emails, and if we don't receive a response within 14 days, we automatically process refunds. I understand this wasn't properly communicated to you, resulting in unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
Regarding the inhalers, I should explain that our pharmacy can only issue treatments to individuals who are 18 years and over, and each prescription must be for the named patient only. While we understand your intention was to have spare inhalers at home, we unfortunately cannot supply medication for family members under a single prescription.
While we mention NHS asthma review guidelines as part of our standard information sharing, I apologise that this came across as presumptuous about your family's healthcare routine. I appreciate that you and your children already attend regular reviews.

First time user and very happy! Had never heard of the company prior to a last minute search to find an inhaler supplier. Ordered it early evening with 50 minutes to spare and came next day nicely packaged and as expected. I’ve had mixed dealings with companies that offer later send times, but e-surgery really delivered and it’s been a nice experience start to finish.

As you noted, unfortunately we were only able to issue 1 inhaler on this occasion due to our prescribing guidelines. For us to issue more than 1 inhaler, we do require GP details so that we can ensure that we are working alongside your GP and that they are being kept in the loop with your treatment. Since that was not the case on this occasion, we advised that we could only fulfil one inhaler at that time which I can see that you agreed to proceed with.
I understand your perspective that a partial refund would have been appropriate given the change in quantity. In this case, we refunded the difference in cost with the reduced quantity as per the prices which we state on our website. Unfortunately, we would be unable to refund half of the initial amount charged as when ordering 2 inhalers, the second inhaler is discounted.
I hope you can appreciate that our policies are in place to ensure medication safety and compliance. Disappointed
I take a Salamol inhaler and have mostly purchased them privately and have always had them prescribed. I suffer with a tight chest when pollen levels are exceptionally high or during cold weather. Since I had COVID back in the summer I have found I have needed to reach for my inhaler more frequently.
Other online pharmacies have always been happy to prescribe these. However, e-surgery was significantly cheaper and has had so many good reviews, I decided to give them a go.
I completed the questionnaire as normal and explained my situation exactly as I have to other companies. 6 hours later I get a notification stating my order has been rejected and a refund issued. This despite the fact, I am currently using and have been prescribed this inhaler.
Even the GP has given me this inhaler on a casual basis and not a repeat prescription. Due to issues getting appointments, I purchased online instead.
Once I receive my refund I will be using my previous company who are happy to prescribe these to me.

Untrustworthy pharmacy
I placed an order and was sent a different item. The basic ingredient was same but the size and ingredients differed slightly to my order. I was not able to use the inhaler and contacted them straight away. They did not respond to my 3 emails or chat on their Web site. I re contacted them but they had blinkers on and refused to accept returns or refund money
Extra reply: Can I suggest you read my comments on my order. I have shared photos of my Ventolin order plus other photos with my bank to prove my point.

Completely wasted my time
Completely wasted my time. I made a mistype on an inhaler where I ordered a lower dose by 50 instead of 100 of mcg. This seemed to cause major issues for them and they began demanding prescription labels, etc. Nobody else does this on an inhaler and I'm at work. The idea of the proposition is not to have that horrible time wasting experience of going to a surgery, waiting for a hugely delayed appointment only to have your GP write the same old prescription again. Yet here we are.

With our current licenses we are able to work alongside your GP but we are not intended to replace them. Therefore we are unable to initiate new treatment or diagnose at this time.
As you requested a different dose to your last order, our prescriber required proof of prescription on this occasion. I fully understand that you stated that this was a mistype, however once a request for proof of prescription has been asked, we do have to follow through with this to ensure that we are working alongside what your GP has prescribed and not initiating any new treatment/doses.

I ordered an inhaler for my elderly mother when in an emergency we found she was about to run out before we could get one prescribed All seemed to be approved and then at last minute was told that it wasn't going to be prescribed. This required me making a 250 mile round trip to get an emergency inhaler for my asthmatic mother who was in a complete panic. I was then approached by Trustpilot to say that they were going to take down my genuine review if I didn't get in touch with e surgery, so I have reluctantly wasted more of my time with this company explaining the reason for the low rating . Please recognise the implications of what you did here.

I am very sorry to hear of this and I am sorry that you have had a negative experience with our service.
Unfortunately, as an online pharmacy we are unable to offer emergency supplies of medication as we are not licensed to be an emergency service. This is due to our orders being delivered by post and therefore there is the potential risks of delays/delivery issues. At the start of the health consultation for inhalers, all patients are required to confirm that they have not ran out of their inhalers and that they understand that we are not an emergency service. If a patient does require an emergency prescription, we would refer them to speak with their GP, call NHS 111 or contact a local pharmacy.
