It took awhile to get approval for the…
It took awhile to get approval for the medication and then they want me to get blood test from the GP and upload my results. I was hoping for an easier service than going to my GP. At the GP it takes 2 weeks to get an appointment then a long wait a blood test. Months go by before you get anywhere. I was hoping the e-surgery would expedite matters but alas not.

We completely understand how frustrating it can be when you are already dealing with long GP waiting times and were hoping for a quicker solution. We do strive to make our service as simple and straightforward as possible and I am sorry if it was not made clear before ordering that certain medications do require additional information such as blood test results before we are able to safely issue a prescription.
We do want to assure you that this is not something we ask for lightly. These requirements are in place to ensure your safety and wellbeing and are in line with clinical guidelines that we are obligated to follow as a pharmacy. We are not able to replace the role of your GP entirely and certain medications do require annual reviews and blood work to ensure they remain safe and appropriate for you.
The good news is that once we have received this information, in the majority of cases we will only request it again every 6 to 12 months, so the process should be much smoother going forward.

Could be better
Fairly quick process from start to finish. Online consultation was fairly straightforward and spoke to customer service and they were polite and informative.
Only problem, they don't provide a proper copy of the prescription.
I have been to numerous other providers, everywhere else an official copy in a pdf or image is provided, which supports getting follow up medication from other pharmacies. However, this pharmacy doesn't provide one. When I requested it they kept sending me some automated email that needs to go to GP instead. No other pharmacy is going to accept an email instead of a copy of prescription- not sure why they can't provide one.
Also, delivery was poor - no knock or notification, package was left outside in the heat even though I was at home waiting.

Regarding the prescription query we do understand your concern however we wanted to clarify that the email we provide does contain all of the relevant details including patient information, medication, dosage and the date of dispensing and is widely accepted as valid proof of prescription. We appreciate that this may differ from what you have experienced with other providers and we are sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
With regards to the delivery we are sorry to hear that the package was left outside without any notification, especially given the temperature. This is not the standard of delivery we would expect and we will ensure this feedback is passed on accordingly.

Fantastic Customer Service
I lost my inhaler whilst on holiday and was worried about how quickly I'd be able to get a replacement. I used e-Surgery, and the whole process was incredibly simple and efficient. They arranged for my replacement inhaler within 24 hours, which was a huge relief. The service was fast, easy to use, and gave me great peace of mind. I'm very grateful for the prompt support and would highly recommend e-Surgery.

I didn’t get a choice if antibiotics
I didn’t get a choice if antibiotics, was given a three day course which never work for me. I laid for next day delivery and had to wait two and half days for meds to arrive during which time and because I had a uti infection which was progressively getting worse, I had to seek alternative medical assistance. Overall, my experience was blinking awful

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and I am truly sorry to hear about your experience. Having a UTI is uncomfortable enough without the added stress of delays and we completely understand your frustration.
Regarding the choice of antibiotic, we do actually offer multiple antibiotic options for different infections, however in line with NHS guidelines we do strongly recommend first line treatments in the first instance, which in your case would be Nitrofurantoin. This is to ensure the most effective treatment is provided in the first instance.
Regarding the delay in receiving your medication, this is absolutely not the standard of service we strive to provide and I am deeply sorry that your next day delivery took two and a half days to arrive, particularly given that your symptoms were progressively worsening during this time. I completely understand why you needed to seek alternative medical assistance and I am sorry that you were put in that position.

Pleasantly surprised!
I never thought about using a service like this before but I decided to give it a go. I had toothache, I could have driven 2 hours to my dentist (mad i know, anything to keep.my NHS dentist) got an appointment, been prescribed antibiotics as always, driven home, paid for my prescription and started my course. Instead I went on this site for 5 mins, put my symptoms in and a couple of days later exactly what I needed arrived at my door. When I factored in my traveling time, dentist fee, prescription cost the value for me was awesome. Obviously this shouldn't take over from seeing your Dr/dentist when required but, if you know what you need then this is a fantastic service. Ps, antibiotics sorted out my pain!

Great experience quick delivery which is really important to me. I had tried to use Med Express who were terrible I ordered medication from them on a Thursday and by Tuesday they were still processing so I ordered from E Surgeries, and the medication was delivered in 2 days. Absolutely amazing service! I had a urinary infection, only had 2 in my entire life but anyone who has ever encountered it will know you need it treated ASAP thete is no discomfirt like it abd you can't leave the house. Couldnt get an immediate appointment with GP, i went online, they did the consultation and the medication was with me within 24 hours!! After describing my problem, they were able to advise on what medication would help and I received the product very quickly.
I had an infection in my gum and cost me just over £20 for a course of antibiotics which was far better than having to attend dentist which would have been £146 for the same treatment - thank you so much
