I am writing this review to warn other patients about the complete lack of consumer support and responsibility from E-Surgery when their delivery service breaks a contract.
I paid a premium for the "Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm" service to ensure the strict cold chain of my Mounjaro was maintained. The courier failed the deadline, and the product spent the night in transit. Because of this severe delay and the lack of proper updates, I initially contacted their support stating the medication was compromised and that I would reject it.
However, when the package was finally delivered the next day, my husband opened it immediately and checked it. The ice packs were completely melted and liquid, but fortunately, they were still cold to the touch. He measured the internal temperature right away and confirmed the medication itself was still within a usable range. Only because of his physical inspection did I decide to accept the package, rather than starting a chargeback dispute through my bank.
My complaint is about their corporate behavior. The representatives I spoke with refused to take any responsibility or offer a clear replacement policy for transit failures, relying only on theoretical timelines. The pharmacy offered no support whatsoever to reassure the patient. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act, the pharmacy is legally responsible for a safe delivery within the agreed timeframe.
I must continue my treatment this month, but I am terrified. If the next delivery delays even further and the medication spoils completely, I know E-Surgery will not help. Fortunately, I have kept all physical evidence of this failed delivery timeline and their dismissive messages. If it happens again, we will use the thermometer, refuse the product, and file formal complaints with the GPhC (General Pharmaceutical Council), Trading Standards, and my bank. Do not trust their delivery system.
**UPDATE**
First of all, refunding the shipping cost was not a "gesture"—it was your bare legal obligation under UK law because you breached the guaranteed Next Day contract.
The medication survived by pure luck, not because of your planning. If the delivery had been delayed by just a few more hours, or if this had occurred during one of the UK’s intense summer heatwaves, the biological product would have been completely ruined. I know this because I went through the exact same delivery failure with Zava pharmacy recently, where the delay was longer, the thermometer proved the medication was spoiled, and that pharmacy had to take responsibility.
Do not assume your customers are uneducated. We know exactly how Eli Lilly’s guidelines work: they apply to successful, controlled deliveries, not to compromised transit where products are shuffled between hot vans and depots with fluctuating temperatures.
Your customer service was defensive and offered zero reassurance when I was facing a disrupted treatment. I am terrified of you and about my next delivery. I repeat: solely because of the breach of delivery terms, you are legally obligated to take responsibility. If this happens again and my medication is ruined upon our temperature inspection, I will not hesitate. I will claim my money back immediately and take formal legal action against you through the relevant regulatory bodies. I would never recommend E-Surgery to anyone.
Refunding the shipping fee was not a favor; it was a strict legal obligation for breaching the guaranteed delivery contract. Your response is the absolute proof of my review: you will go to any length to evade post-sale responsibility. I will not waste another second communicating with you. I will simply monitor my next delivery; if the terms are breached again and the medication is compromised, I will not hesitate to do exactly what I did to Zava pharmacy and hold you fully accountable. Do not buy from them.

Let me be crystal clear: this review is not about money. I got my refund. This is about a man named Bradley who has no business being anywhere near patient safety.
Here are the cold, hard facts — and I mean cold, because my medicine sure as hell wasn't:
· My temperature-sensitive medicine was shipped with a pathetic 0.5kg ice pack. That ice pack would have melted on day one — before the package even reached the depot.
· The first delivery failed. The package was then dumped overnight in a sweltering — local post office with no climate control.
· The next day, on 28°C out it baked in a delivery van all morning and didn't reach me until 1pm.
· When I opened that box, the pen was warm to the touch. Not cool. Not room temperature. Warm. The medicine inside was degraded, ineffective, and unsafe to put in my body.
I called immediately. And who answered? Bradley.
Bradley — with absolute, jaw-dropping confidence — told me the medicine was "safe" and that 30°C was fine. onfidence — told me the medicine was "safe" and that 30°C was fine. Because on that day it was a sunny 28°C outside. But here's the kicker: every reader has to admit the van gets like a greenhouse in the heat. HE SAID IT HIMSELF medicine safe Below 30°C but with melted 0.5kg ice pack as it was dispatched on the 20th of May on the 21st it was exposed to temperatures it should never have & if it was delivered it would have been within the current guidelines of 1 off exposure . So he KNEW my medicine was cooking in a mobile oven untill 5pm & over night in sweltering tiny post office back into the baker van till 1pm on the 22nd of May 2026— and still had the audacity to tell me it was "fine. That is medically illiterate. That is dangerous misinformation. And frankly, it's negligent.
I asked for a refund. I asked for an exchange. I asked for anything. Bradley said no. Every single complaint I raised? Bounced straight back to Bradley. Nobody else reviewed my case. No supervisor. No escalation. Just Bradley, blocking every door, hiding behind his inbox like a coward.
Let me be honest: there are decent people who work at that pharmacy. But Bradley? Bradley is a liability. How he made it to manager is beyond me — and I say that with my full chest. He dismissed a genuine health risk like I was complaining about a late pizza.
I fought. I got my money back. But that doesn't undo the fact that this company let my medicine rot, lied to my face about its safety, and trapped me in a loop of Bradley's incompetence for weeks.
So here's my warning to anyone ordering from here:
Open your package the SECOND it arrives. Check the temperature. Check the product. And if something goes wrong? Don't expect Bradley to care. He won't. He'll gaslight you, stall you, and refuse to take responsibility until you're blue in the face.
This company needs to take a long, hard look at who they put in charge of customer safety. Because Bradley? He's not fit for the job. Full stop.

Poor packaging for the parcel, no cool blocks was provided to keep the mounjaro cold.
Mounjaro was warm when arrived, for £200 I was expect better quality of packaging.

Really happy with the service. The price was very good compared to other places I checked, and the next day delivery was fast and reliable. My Mounjaro arrived well packaged with ice packs to keep it cold, which gave me confidence that it had been stored and transported properly. Everything was secure, neat and professional. The whole process from ordering to delivery was smooth and easy. I would definitely recommend and will order again.

Used e-Surgery for my monthly Mounjaro subscription and I would thoroughly recommend. Always on time with delivery and great keep cold packaging. They are also great at responding via Chat or email. Very happy with the service I've had.

I ordered my first 7.5mg Mounjaro with e-Surgery yesterday. The order, consultation and delivery was incredibly quick and just under three hours from start to shipping and arrived nicely packed, cold and on time the next day. I've used five pharmacies now and that has to be a record, especially in the current mad situation with pharmacies out of stock, failing to deliver and not responding to customers due to the Lilly price hike.
The consult was one of the easier processes I've been through - only a full body pic, proof of existing prescription (no scale image) and the online questions. I was really surprised to get it so quickly. I did pay the extra for next day special delivery though at £7.95. They were also the second cheapest on monj.co.uk so a big bonus with a new customer code.
I would definitely recommend them.

Very good and fast delivery times, the packaging is also very discreet and private. When it comes the package is also cold and it has never come warm or not chilled. Its really easy to use as well. Highly recommend.

I've found using e surgery really good. They are quick to answer any questions and the delivery is quick as well. When my medication arrived it was sealed well and in a cold bag and the price of it was very good as well. Highly recommend.

Just had my 2nd order of mounjaro brilliant service. 1st one obviously had to go through being checked but order was here quick after that, 2nd order was here within 2 days. Both packages kept cold. Really pleased with the service.
For me,simply a terrific service!
I live in a rural area, with transport issues.
Being able to order my prescriptions online means I'm free from worrying about travelling to the local surgery to collect a prescription.
Over December into January it would have been difficult for me to organise transport.
The recent cold stormy weather makes it even more difficult.
When the back boiler decided to die on me,and the roof decided to leak on me.
My Royal Mail delivery from E-Surgery in December did not let me down. Pleased n grateful.

Bought successfully from them for a few months. Ordered some medicine over Christmas. They delayed the order by a few days (no problem) and then they shipped my medicine (that has to stay cold) over new year where it was delayed, and the ice pack melted. They said on the phone that it wasn’t shipped until the 2nd Jan, but they emailed me on the 31st December saying it had shipped. Arrived room temperature on the 3rd, and they won’t replace my medicine. I have to use it within 30 days of it being room temp, but I had to open another packet of the medicine which lasts for one month because my delivery was late. So now I have a £140 worth of medicine that I can’t use and they won’t replace.
For reference - every other shipment has arrived cold (ice pack still partially frozen). So it’s hard to believe that they shipped this on the 2nd Jan and I received a warm (floppy ice pack) 24 hours later. Very disappointed. Won’t buy from them again.
It was also really stressful speaking to them on the phone. They acted like they didn’t believe me, and like I couldn’t possibly know it wasn’t the correct temperature. I could literally feel the warm ice pack and medicine in my hands. I’m a human person in the world and I know what warm feels like!
I’m a scientist by training, and my instinct is to believe professionals when they make assurances. But this interaction felt like I was being fobbed off. I’m surprised that they recommended I re-cool the medicine and use it anyway, which goes against the manufacturer’s recommendations.
I feel even more aggrieved because I’ve recommended this company to others! And now I’m out a bunch of money and feel let down. Total bummer.
They also have another Trust Pilot with terrible reviews - for e-surgery.co.uk - I think this one is trying to replace that one? It links straight back to their website. Seems shady.
Update: After I posted this review I left it for a few days. I couldn’t shake feeling that it wasn’t fairly resolved, and contacted them again to say that I would file a complaint with the GPhC and push for a charge back on my credit card. At this point they agreed to send me a replacement shipment for my medicine.
I’m not thrilled that it took so much pressure, and they mentioned this review on the phone, so I think it weighed into their decision. But ultimately they did eventually replace this medicine.
I’m not taking this review down. It is all honest, but I thought it was fair to add the update. I hope they really have learned from this experience. And I’m still unclear how they shipped something on the 2nd in an ice pack that was completely melted 1 day later. The replacement they sent me was cold and the ice pack still frozen. As was the case with my prior purchases. The anomalous melted one remains a mystery.
I haven’t decided if I will use this company again. One mistake I can forgive (easily). I just wish they had rectified it without me having to write these reviews, and having to contact the manufacturer to make sure I really shouldn’t use the medicine.

After being ill with a cold that went bad ways,a fortnight later I tried to order some antibiotics. They kept ringing me up and asking me different questions. I paid up front for an express delivery before 1.00 p.m. the next day-nothing came. I am 70 and I desperately need this medication, I am running out of food and need to start getting better.

I take a Salamol inhaler and have mostly purchased them privately and have always had them prescribed. I suffer with a tight chest when pollen levels are exceptionally high or during cold weather. Since I had COVID back in the summer I have found I have needed to reach for my inhaler more frequently.
Other online pharmacies have always been happy to prescribe these. However, e-surgery was significantly cheaper and has had so many good reviews, I decided to give them a go.
I completed the questionnaire as normal and explained my situation exactly as I have to other companies. 6 hours later I get a notification stating my order has been rejected and a refund issued. This despite the fact, I am currently using and have been prescribed this inhaler.
Even the GP has given me this inhaler on a casual basis and not a repeat prescription. Due to issues getting appointments, I purchased online instead.
Once I receive my refund I will be using my previous company who are happy to prescribe these to me.

I had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience with E-Surgery while seeking Mounjaro for weight loss maintenance. Initially, I received my first maintenance dose with the promise of ongoing support. However, as soon as I reached my target BMI, they abruptly cancelled my subsequent orders without any valid explanation, despite their claims of helping patients with a BMI of 18.5 to 24.9.
Their dismissive attitude towards my case was shocking. I made it clear that Mounjaro was crucial not just for weight loss, but for managing my appetite and mild binge eating tendencies. Instead of understanding this, they cut me off as soon as I reached a so-called “healthy” BMI, completely ignoring the role Mounjaro plays in appetite control. E-Surgery provided no tailored care or proper questioning of my individual needs—it felt generic and robotic, as though I was just another number.
Their response to my concerns was defensive and failed to address my actual needs. It’s obvious they are more concerned with covering themselves than offering genuine patient care. They even claimed that Mounjaro isn’t approved for binge eating, but research and real-world evidence show that Mounjaro (a GLP-1 receptor agonist) is highly effective in controlling appetite and preventing weight regain. The fact that they didn’t even try to understand this shows a complete lack of care.
E-Surgery’s "solution" was to suggest I see my GP for therapy, as if that could replace the role Mounjaro plays in managing my condition. My binge eating isn’t severe, but it is problematic, and I hadn’t found a successful treatment until Mounjaro, which really helped me control my appetite and maintain weight loss. Worse still, they made this decision without a single phone call or any attempt to understand my needs. The whole process was cold, impersonal, and dismissive.
Research shows that discontinuing GLP-1 receptor agonists like Mounjaro leads to significant weight regain for most people, but E-Surgery ignored this entirely, leaving me feeling abandoned. There was no follow-up, no care, and certainly no personalised treatment plan. Their entire approach seemed to be to push me away the moment I no longer fit their tick-box criteria.
If you’re considering E-Surgery, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. There are far better telemedicine providers who genuinely care about long-term support and patient well-being. My opinion is E-Surgery is cheap for a reason—once you’ve bought the first dose, they’ll drop you without any real concern for your health. You get what you pay for, and in this case, that means poor communication, no real support, and being treated like just another number. Save yourself the trouble and avoid E-Surgery at all costs!

I bought the moujaro weight loss pen from e surgery costing £149 but after 2 doses the indicator stopped working resulting in me not being able to administer my 3rd dose. I contacted them and sent videos and the outcome was that the pen was not faulty it had used all its doses therefore beware there pens must not contain the full 4 doses and basically I've been conned
Following on from this review I was contacted by e Surgery who offered me 30% discount off my next order. I emailed them to advise that 1 would except 30% but would prefer this to be refunded in.money and I've not heard anything since so this is what I'm. Up against. I have also observed from their website that they are currently offering potential customers anything from 20 -20% off and that's without issues being raised. I have also purchased further moujaro pens fron another pharmacy which arrived in a lovely cool bag with ice packaging to keep them cold as recommend by the manufacturers however the ones I received fron E Surgery only came in its original packaging which now makes me think that there pens aren't being stored properly hence the reason they are faulty. Sorry e surgery I won't rest until you offer me a solution to the the issue raised and by ignoring my emails only makes me more determined

Overall very satisfied with the service from e-Surgery. I have used them for ordering weight loss injections. The price was very competitive. Submitting pictures was a bit of a hassle but the lady on customer service walked me through this and it was swiftly handled. The medication came very well packaged and was cold upon arrival, which I have heard was an issue with some other pharmacies. I contacted them again afterwards and they were very helpful in helping me with using the treatment.
So far I have lost 11kg and I am well on my way to achieving a healthy weight. I feel much more energetic and it has done wonders for my confidence. The treatment is not a magic solution but it has been positively life changing in helping me kickstart the weight loss. I will continue using e-Surgery and highly recommend them.

Great experience, from the online consultation up until the item arriving to my front door. Delivery was fast and efficient and I felt that I was being looked after with the additional checks that were made prior to my private prescription being approved. My item has to be refrigerated and it came well packaged and still cold with no over packaging environmentally friendly options. In comparative to other private prescription companies I have used I would like to be a return customer as it was all reasonably priced a little bit more than the lower priced equivalent however I do see value in it.

Quick process and great price. Completed the questionnaire within 2 minutes and the medicine arrived next day. The only reason for 4 stars not 5 is the packaging. The med I ordered should be delivered cold but the ice pack melted and it was at room temperature. Use to order from different pharmacy which used wool insulated packaging and the med arrived always cold even in hot weather.
