Reviewer decided that my 28 year old daughter hand was that of a child and refused my request for antibiotic cream. Therefore , I must be a liar .
What a load of nonsense . I won't buy from them again.
My daughter is autistic and can't manage gp appointments well .
I ordered from another supplier showing the same photo with no issue at all .

I understand how frustrating and upsetting this must have been, and I want to assure you that at no point was anyone suggesting you were being dishonest.
Having reviewed the consultation, I believe there may have been a misunderstanding. The combination of the photo provided and the fact that you were submitting the consultation on your daughter’s behalf may have led our prescriber to believe the treatment was intended for a child. This is not an excuse, and I accept that we should have made further enquiries to clarify the situation before making a decision, rather than simply refusing the request.
I’m also sorry to hear that your daughter finds GP appointments difficult due to her autism. Online services like ours should be making healthcare more accessible, and on this occasion we’ve fallen short of that.

Psoriasis Treatment
I have psoriasis and by the time I manage to get an appointment at my GP my flare up has spread and almost uncontrollable.

Ordered a product (which I've had…
Ordered a product (which I've had before but not from them) online. They sent the weak version after I had ordered the stronger one. I asked them to swap it for the correct one, but they refused. They used a number of excuses - it was my fault for ordering the wrong product, they only sell the weaker version (though they never queried my order and neither their website or invoice didn't say which version) and anyway their terms of business say 'no refunds'.
I ordered correctly, they did not query anything. When my lawyer husband pointed out that they were in breach of regulations 7 and 10 of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, they stopped communicating altogether. Their website and conduct are also in breach of several rules laid down by their professional regulator the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Advice - use a respectable pharmacy that understands and obeys both the law and professional conduct requirements.
UPDATE -reply to e-surgery's response
Their reply is disingenuous. If they didn't sell what I had asked for and which I had told them had been prescribed by my dermatologist, they should have said so. Obviously, it would have been reasonable for them to ask if I wanted the weaker version that they sold. They didn't so how was I to know they didn't sell what I asked for? They now blame me for not noticing a 'discrepancy' that I had no way of knowing existed, but they knew of and withheld from me. Kafka would be proud of their response.
I have since got what I wanted from sanschanger which is another online pharmacy. Their pharmacist contacted me to check that it was the stronger version I wanted, and to ask whether I wanted the cream or gel version. The difference in both professionalism and respect for the customer (and the law) between the 2 online pharmacies is stark.

I’m sorry to hear you had a bad experience.
We’ve tried to explain that the item you ordered from us only exists in one dose. There are no other doses available. We even linked you the British national formulary (the BNF can be found here: https://bnf.nice.org.uk/) to show you that the medication you ordered from us only comes in one strength. The image you provided of the medication you wanted to order is not sold by us. It’s a completely different medication and not stocked on our website.
We explained that we sadly cannot refund items if you change your mind. This is because medication cannot be sent back to us and re-sold to other patients once it has left the pharmacy. These are rules are followed by all pharmacies to protect patients from the risk of tampered medication or medication kept in the wrong temperature environment.
Once again, I’m sorry that you had a bad experience and that we couldn’t help you any further. In the future, we highly recommend getting in touch with our clinical team before you order a medication when the names do not match as we can then advise the best place to go to request the item you’re looking for – our Ask A Pharmacist service is completely free.
