Urinary Tract Infection Treatment
Antibiotics didn’t work told to seek help elsewhere
Ordered some antibiotics as suspected a tooth infection. The antibiotics didn’t fully work as the course of treatment wasn’t long enough. I contacted e-surgery explaining this and they said that there was nothing else they could do and to contact a dental surgery. I get that I need to be seen by a dentist but it’s hard when I work long hours up and down the country so used this as a quick fix until I can get an appointment with my dentist. No further help offered and left with an infection getting increasingly worse. Seems like a cash grab if I’m honest. It’s a ease of use to get medication by not attending appointments but if that fails you will be told to go do the appointment in the end which costs more money so overall waste of money and time stick to the correct channels to get medication.

We do want to assure you that we are not a cash grab service and we genuinely care about the wellbeing of all of our patients. However, as stated during your health consultation, antibiotics are designed to treat the infection but are unable to fix the underlying cause of the problem. We do strongly advise all patients to seek dental treatment as soon as possible alongside any antibiotic course.
We also have a responsibility to prescribe antibiotics carefully and responsibly due to the very real risk of antibiotic resistance, which is a growing concern across healthcare. This means we are unable to simply issue further courses of antibiotics without clinical justification.
We would strongly urge you to seek dental treatment as soon as possible. Many dental surgeries offer emergency appointments for situations such as yours, and NHS 111 may also be able to help you find emergency dental care in your area.

Excellent. I filled in a questionnaire and the next day I received the medication I required. No battling online forms, waiting for hours in a phone queue waiting to be answered by an automated answering service before getting through to a grumpy admin bod with a grudge. And on average, you're usually given an appointment in two weeks time. Most of us usually know what's going on with ourselves and this service helped me navigate the garbage and led to treatment quickly. Yes I paid but I'm now getting treatment instead of suffering for another two weeks. Thank you, e-Surgery, long may you continue and yes, 'I'll be back!'

I have an abscess in my gum
I have an abscess in my gum. I had been trying to get a dental appointment for at least a week.
I managed to get an appointment with an emergency dentist which didn’t go well As I was told that the treatment would cost over £1000
I then found e-surgery online
I ordered antibiotics which arrived the next day Now two days in and I am already feeling the benefits

Dentist advised they no longer prescribed antibiotics as part of treatment meaning it’s either root canal and crown or extraction.
Decided to give antibiotics ago, ordered one day arrived the next, very easy to order, relevant checks and assessment made, Finished the course as directed and infection cleared; result!

My brother recently had a abcess on his…
My brother recently had a abcess on his gums due to a nasty tooth infection. He looked online and bought some amoxicillin thinking it was going to clear it up. 1 week later it done absolutely nothing!
I have later found out by several people including my dentist who have all told me that it is ILLEGAL IN THE UK to sell that particular drug!
So what they are doing is COMPLETELY AGAINST THE LAW and need to be prosecuted for what they are doing!
I AM NOW IN TALKS WITH MY LEGAL TEAM TO TAKE STRONG ACTION AGAINST E-SURGERY TO SUE AND STOP THEM FROM CARRYING OUT MORE FRAUDULENT SCAMS ON OTHER CUSTOMERS! SHOCKING!😮😮😮😡😡😡

We do want to address the claims made in your review as we feel it is important to set the record straight. It is absolutely not illegal to prescribe Amoxicillin online in the UK. We are a fully registered and legitimate online pharmacy (GPHC registration: https://www.pharmacyregulation.org/registers/pharmacy/9012167) and all of our medication is sourced from the same suppliers as the NHS. All consultations are reviewed and approved by a fully licensed clinician before any medication is issued.
We understand your frustration, however selling prescription medication online is entirely legal provided the correct processes are followed, which we absolutely ensure at e-Surgery.
We are sorry to hear that the medication did not clear up your brother’s infection. As with all medication, effectiveness cannot be guaranteed for every patient as individual biology, genetics and lifestyle factors can influence how drugs are processed in the body. A shockingly poor service
A shockingly poor service! I ordered antibiotics for a dental infection and answered all the questions fully. My order was approved. I then received an email saying that the prescriber had questions as to why I had requested metronidazole as they would normally prescribe amoxicillin or penicillin - did I have an allergy? I responded that no, I didn't, but that since I have IBS (though don't take any medication for this), I have used Metronidazole in the past without side effects and this is my preferred antibiotic.
They immediately cancelled my order, without any explanation. I received an email saying we're unable to fulfil your order and have refunded you.
This is totally unacceptable. No reason was provided for the order cancellation and I'm now without the medication I require, and £35 down. It will take 3 to 5 days for a refund.
Do not recommend this website at all!
