I paid Easier Accounting $300 for a prior-year tax return review — and what I got in return was incredibly underwhelming and rushed.
After over a month with no communication, I had to reach out myself to ask for an update. A few days later, I finally received a vague, generic email that barely scratched the surface. It said my S-Corp "probably shouldn't have been an S-Corp," mentioned there was no basis to claim losses, and summarized my personal taxes in a few lines. There was no clear analysis, no explanation of whether anything could be amended, and no recommendations — just a few casual comments I could’ve found on Reddit.
If more information (like books) was needed to provide a proper review, that should have been communicated up front — not after the refund window closed.
This felt like a rushed afterthought, not a $300 professional service. I expected a real tax review — not a paragraph of speculation with zero follow-up.
Very disappointed and would NEVER Recommend

My wife and I use this service for her salon and our coffee shops. They’ve helped us out a ton with books and navigating a complex multiple business situation. We’ve loved working with Trevor Fowkes and the entire team.

I paid over $2500 to sign up with this company which included the filing of my LLC and they charge $100 per month to provide support whenever you need. At first they were very responsive but as soon as I declined a shady package offering to teach me how to get a business loan, they just stopped answering my texts. I texted to cancel my account and a guy told me he would waive the $100 monthly fee until Jan 2025 which I agreed to. Then when I had a question, no response. When I posted this review originally, I received an email telling me I stopped paying the monthly $100 fee and which is why no one would answer my messages anymore. Overpriced and underdelivered! Do not use them!

I was promised so much in help with tax planning and if it was worth converting of my company from c corp from a s corp.

I provided all the information they requested. Confidential information. And then silence for 30 days. Then when I asked for an update after 30 days then had no idea what I was talking about. Like the email thread did not exist.

If I could give easier accounting a negative 5 I would. This is by far the worst and most inadequate company I have come across. They promised to convert my business to an S-Corp and screwed it up in the process of set up. It took me hours to undo their sloppy work. They completed my taxes and never bothered to file the taxes and didn't even realize they made this major mistake. I was the one who discovered the error. Also because of their incopetancy they screwed up on the filing, costing me $16,000 to the IRS! Stay far far far far away from Easier Accounting!!!!

I’ve been with Easier for roughly 6 months, throughout my time here I have learned a ton on taxes and strategies through their monthly webinar’s. Kale, Bryan, Wyatt, and the rest of the team have been very helpful throughout my time here. They are always ready to help, and when you call them with a simple question, if you leave a voicemail they will call you back in a timely manner. No matter the question they treat each question as important as any other questions. On top of it all Wyatt set me up with Mrs. Paula to help me write my business plan and profit & loss projections, and WOW what an amazing person and amazing job she did. Paula did so great that I also asked her to help write a new business plan for our other existing company. It’s not seldom that you find dedicated folks these days to help, but I can sure find them at Easier.I can not wait to experience working through the tax season with this team this year, I’m sure it will be great. I would recommend these guys to anyone else who needs help with their business, let the team make it Easier for you.

Over 2 months to get very simple tax returns completed and no communication about what is causing the delays. I had to hound them to get a response. The person who left me a voicemail after 2 months to tell me the returns were finally ready, but that he wanted to "discuss a few items" does not return phone calls. I've left him 3 voicemails over the course of 15 days with no response.

Easieraccounting were great when I first signed up over 3 years ago. I was a happy client until this year.

It has taken over 3 months to get our corporate tax return completed.

I've been lied to repeatedly about when it would be delivered. My emails requesting updates have been ignored. My calls to customer service achieved nothing. I asked to speak to someone more senior and was promised someone would call. They never did. When the return finally arrived, it had mistakes and they failed to answer key questions I had asked repeatedly. Appalling treatment.

Between the shoddy work, terrible communication and utter lack of response from management, I cannot recommend this firm.

Terrible! Lack of communication. I went through three different people to get my returns complete. Worst part is I paid them monthly for a service I never received because I could not get anyone to respond to me.

Been very impressed with this firm. They quickly understood our business and jumped right into our books. I like how fast they reply to my questions and how detailed their entries are in our accounting software. Highly recommend them!

I love technology and Easier Accounting uses Xero to streamline my accounting for me. I love being able to login from anywhere in the world and access my books or pull reports. It's important for me as a business owner to know where I'm at financially at any given moment.
