My professors for the Break Through Tech summer session labs were really nice and competent.

I recently completed the eCornell Business Contracts Certificate Program and found it to be an extremely valuable professional development experience. The program provided a practical and comprehensive approach to understanding contracts, from formation and key provisions through performance, enforcement, breach, and remedies.

What I appreciated most was the ability to immediately apply what I was learning to my day-to-day work. The courses strengthened my ability to review and draft contracts more thoughtfully, identify potential risks, understand the purpose behind key contractual provisions, and approach negotiations and contract management with greater confidence.

The real-world examples, case studies, and assignments helped move the material beyond theory and encouraged me to think critically about how contractual principles apply in actual business situations. I also appreciated the opportunity to engage with other professionals and learn from their perspectives and experiences.

Completing the Business Contracts Certificate has already influenced how I approach contracts professionally and has given me additional tools that I can bring back to my organization. I would highly recommend the program to professionals who work with contracts, compliance, legal operations, procurement, or business relationships and want to strengthen their practical understanding of contract law and contract management.

Overall, this was a worthwhile investment in my professional development, and I am very pleased that I completed the program.

What separates Cornell University's online programs from many others is the depth of learning provided by professors who are pioneers in the industry. The courses go beyond high-level concepts and provide the technical knowledge needed to apply what is learned to real-world projects. The combination of lectures and hands-on labs helped reinforce both the theory and practical application.

I also valued the weekly live sessions with facilitators who are actively working in the industry, including experts from AWS and other leading technology companies. Their insights added tremendous value to the program.

Overall, it was such an incredibly rewarding experience.

The Agentic AI Architecture certificate was practical, well structured, and genuinely useful for the kind of work I do in software engineering and production support. The exercises helped me move beyond general AI concepts and think through real constraints such as tool permissions, human review, reliability, security, and how to measure whether an AI solution is actually helping.

I especially appreciated that the coursework did not treat AI agents as fully autonomous by default. It pushed me to consider where human judgment needs to stay in the process and how organizational values should shape the design. I was able to apply the work directly to an internal idea for an AI-assisted production support investigation tool.

The course is a good fit for technical professionals who want to think more carefully about designing AI solutions that are useful, responsible, and realistic to implement.

Working in cybersecurity, much of the subject matter was familiar territory. What made this program valuable for me, though, wasn’t simply learning individual concepts—it was connecting the dots between them.

The program brought together AI risk and opportunity, cybercrime, ransomware and cyber extortion, deepfakes and synthetic media, critical infrastructure, governance, and the evolving role of AI on both sides of the cybersecurity equation.

One of my biggest takeaways is that cybersecurity and AI strategy can’t be approached as purely technical disciplines. Effective security increasingly requires us to connect technology with governance, risk, policy, resiliency, human oversight, and organizational decision-making. Those connections gave me several perspectives that I can apply directly in my professional life.

Kudos to Judith Germano for bringing her extensive cybersecurity, technology governance, regulatory, and enterprise-risk experience to the program, as well as to all of the guest speakers who contributed their experience and perspectives throughout the courses.

Also kudos to Jizhou Tong, the course facilitator, for helping guide us through the program and the discussions along the way.

There’s always more to learn in this field, particularly as AI continues to reshape both the threat landscape and the tools we use to defend it. I’m looking forward to putting these connections into practice.

Taking the Strategy AI Certification course at Cornell University was a valuable and insightful experience. It's a great way to develop some new skills in a specific topic which may be you have a special interested in it. The way the certification is thought is actually great. You have videos, excel work, written answer to write its very complete and interesting and helps you to gain new knowledge. I would recommend anyone who is interested in any new certification to go for it. :)

Over the course of the last two years, I have completed four eCornell certificates, each of which has proven directly applicable to my role and essential to my day-to-day responsibilities. Over the past 9 weeks, alongside hundreds of other AI Fellows, I got hands-on experience with the full machine learning lifecycle, from data cleaning and preprocessing to model building and evaluation. I started with traditional ML algorithms like KNN, Decision Trees, and Logistic Regression, learning how to optimize and validate models using techniques like cross-validation and feature selection. From there, I moved into neural networks and computer vision, and wrapped up the course exploring cutting-edge topics in generative AI, including building AI chatbots, implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems, and working with the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Beyond the coding exercises and weekly assignments, I put in real lab time each week applying these concepts to hands-on projects, which made the material click in a way lectures alone couldn't.

I really enjoyed completing my courses of Hospitality Management 360. The course content was engaging, practical, and highly relevant to my professional development. I especially appreciated the instructor video feedback, which provided helpful guidance and personalized insights throughout the course. Overall, it was a valuable and rewarding learning experience that strengthened my knowledge and skills.

Solid program if you want real hands-on ML experience, not just theory. Labs covered logistic regression, neural networks, decision trees, and RAG systems, and having actual deadlines forced me to understand the material rather than skim past it.

The pace picked up at times but stayed manageable overall, and TAs gave detailed feedback that helped a lot along the way. Would recommend to anyone who wants to build real skills, not just add a line to a resume.

Overall, it was a great learning experience. The Canvas LMS supports a learner centered environment and I enjoyed it's ease of use. The only thing I would change is more interactions with peers on our discussion board posts. There wasn't much engagement and at times I felt frustrated with the whole experience. My course instructor did an excellent job of facilitating the online learning experience. I might do another certificate program in several years.

I recently completed the AI course taught by Lutz Finger through eCornell, and it was a fantastic experience overall. The content was well structured and genuinely engaging, and Lutz's expertise and teaching style made even complex AI topics easy to follow. I came away with practical knowledge I can actually apply. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking to build a solid understanding of AI.

I think there should be a comprehensive class on Mushrooms included in medicinal plants. That would definitely change the name of the certificate.

The combination of the lectures and textbook gave me a solid understanding of the U.S. financial regulatory system and strengthened my knowledge of financial institutions regulation. This was a well-managed, in-depth survey course for a wide variety of students taking the course for a wide variety of purposes. I believe the majority of my cohort were practicing physicians. Instructors were knowledgeable and good communicators. I found the coursework not only relevant, but a great roadmap invitation for deeper inquiry. Administrative staff are very responsive and friendly. All together, a great experience I'd recommend to others.
