10/10 customer service - return

I ordered an Elliat dress that was on back order and ended up not being able to ship in time for my bridal shower. I emailed them on a Saturday and received a response within the hour. They were so kind, cancelled my order with no problem and so appreciative of how easy they made it. I’ve never had to cancel before but I love this store and knowing how great the customer service is now especially I’ll be back.

Thank you for being kind and making it easy, planning a wedding is a lot and this was one less headache. 10/10 customer service!

They sent a completely different item…

They sent a completely different item than I ordered. I ordered a merino wool sweater and they sent a cheap, synthetic material tunic shirt. Very unhappy with my experience

As the founder of Apex Standard, a men’s over-40 consulting service focused on helping men find confidence and discipline through systemic health and lifestyle decisions, I had an outstanding experience with Editorialist from start to finish.

I was searching for a very hard-to-find Theory Blouson jacket that had become almost impossible to source, and their team was able to locate and procure it quickly and professionally.

My experience with Editorialist was seamless, but...

My experience with Editorialist was seamless. With Selfridges, not so much. They double-fulfilled my order and as of now are not allowing me to return one of the body gua shas even though I did not open or use it. I informed the maker, which is also writing on my behalf. I havenever experienced such resistance to a return of an item when the duplicate was not my error. The body gua sha, which sells for about $150 converted into US currency, is hardly inexpensive for what it is, and no one needs more than one.

Only giving them one star because I…

Only giving them one star because I can’t give any less. After checking other reviews, I made a purchase for my daughter’s birthday. She lives nine hours away and I knew I would not be seeing her on her birthday this year. Wanted to surprise her as she never asks for much. Ordered a handbag she wanted and paid for expedited shipping so that it would be there by her birthday. They took my money, immediately. 6 days later, I called her because I was floored she hadn’t called me. When I spoke with her, she had not received her present, again, I paid expedited shipping. When I checked my account, the sale was not approved even though they took my money. No text, no email, nothing from Editorialist. Heartbroken her present did not arrive. Furthermore, heard nothing from them until I expressed my disappointment. They responded by cancelling my order. I can only assume they didn’t have the product in stock😡
To me, I feel like they committed wire fraud. They sold me something they apparently knew they didn’t have and kept my money for six days.

Don’t trust them!

Misleading availability, poor communication.

Misleading availability information! I was looking for a pair of shoes that had sold out on the brand's site. A few other sites had them available, and I chose Editorialist ONLY because they promised 2-day delivery, and I wanted the shoes for an upcoming trip. A day after placing the order I received an email saying that there would be a "slight delay" because the original seller didn't actually have the shoes, but telling me to "rest assured" that they would get it elsewhere. I waited another day to find out they were cancelling the order because they couldn't fill it. If they'd just given correct information from the outset--both about availability and about how they operate--I could have ordered from another retailer, or at least known what I was getting into. Now I can't get them at all, because all of the other sites that had them have sold out too.
