Appalling

Appalling

We have been with Ellis for just over a year, and the service we have received has been terrible. Garments have just suddenly 'Vanished', repairs that have been sent off have come back washed but untouched, with simply a yellow sticker stating that they need to be replaced, when there is hardly anything wrong with them. I was very surprised to find that Elis only repair 5% of a garment, not very ideal for Manufactures such as ourselves!!

Customer service is also terrible:
- prices where increased without us being aware!!
- Being unable to contact anybody on the phone.
- extra charge Fee's for issues that are not the customers fault. e.g. late delivery fee.

i could go on and on...

The only positives i can think of is that our weekly delivery driver Sam is brilliant, always helps us change our Matts, helps me carry the overalls and even bagged them up for me one time when i forgot to!

Danielle our Account manager has also been a breath of fresh air, seems to be the only person at Elis we have spoken to that knows what they are on about!!! As well as responding to our emails and phone calls as soon as she can.

Based of personal experience if you are considering a contract with Elis, don't.

Great Service!

The Staff are so polite and always available on the phone or email for queries, orders etc. I've only been with our Company for 9 months but know we have been using you for years, which speaks for itself! The promptness and delivery service are faultless.

we're the restaurant and had been with…

we're the restaurant and had been with them since £29.01 monthly and increased to £67-68 a month. I would like to say it is the worst company ever. our contract was just 3 fragrance toilet spray refill and lady bins. I have complained them manytime about missing and they replied back with unacceptable excuses like restaurant was closed, no where to park which was not our responsible. they all know what time we open as every informations are in contract, once they missed we have to wait for next 3 weeks. if we didn't chase them by phone. they wouldn't come to do it. worst moment was they missed it for 3 months with stupid excuses like no where to park, restaurant closed. you all staffs just driving around with the van and run pass by then report to desk, get back get salary is that all? we are customer and have to phone to chase you all every week, every month!! no where to park, you carry just a bin back and a mini pocket just to change 3 spray and pick up 3 toilet bins you have never tried your best to find a spot to park and do proper job? what a silly company. we are a customer who's paying you every month from £29 to £67 price is up but quality is down!!! do we have to build a car park for you people? to park up a car for a job that we pay it for £67 and I believe it will go up more but service is the same!!! can not wait to stop the contract with you soon. bye! whoever thinking to contract with them then STOP it I recommended

zero rating!!

If there was a zero option, I’d choose it. Don’t touch this company with a barge pole . Zero integrity, appalling service and if you dare to speak out, they blame the customer and terminate contract mid-term. Impossible to deal with. Especially Fakenham’s “manager”, who is keen to demand “professional communication” after months of none from his own office. Failure to meet basic contract requirements and numerous complaints were met with threatening communication and termination of contract. Followed by them invoicing AFTER we left. Pathetic service with persistent failures to deliver and overcharging.

Where do I start with Elis

Where do I start with Elis?
They seriously need to look into there staff system, I use to work at elis and left!
The senior team leader is a bully, absolutely vile to the males working there but loves the woman.
He always picks an argument, first day on the Job and he said you need to hit a target off 470, I was only 60 off that target and that was my first shift there. Everyone is scared of this man and won't say anything to him, the other team leader who is a female is scared of him and won't support the staff or say anything.
They have a massive high turn over of staff because of this man, people have spoken up and lost their jobs because of him and people also complained about him and HR do nothing about it!
Don't work there if your a male!

Excellent customer service

Very helpful call from Andrea checking everything was ok with our service.
She answered questions I had regarding a worker how was leaving our company next year and set up dates for no collection for our 2 factory shutdowns.
I have no complaints about the service we receive.

A great service

Uniforms are exceptionally clean when returned, drivers are very friendly, whenever i have needed to contact Elis Durham direct they always deal with whatever issue or query I may have promptly & always very friendly.

A good company to have supplying us.
