Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. They will initially call to beg you to take their credir card and once u take they will loot ue money. During war they dint even give one single month of extention and not ine single mail reply to any mails requesting for some extention instead they will send you 10 threatening mails to take legal action for a sum of AED 309. There are some other banks which are actually much better. Atleast they wont threatening you 10 times a day with legal consequences

Avoid at all costs!

I cannot believe a major UAE bank can treat its clients with such utter disrespect. It has been nearly 3 months, and they still haven't closed my account. To make matters worse, they completely ignore my emails and messages. I highly do not recommend this bank to anyone. If you are relocating to another country, be prepared to spend months desperately trying to get them to do their job. Avoid at all costs!

Worst customer service

Worst customer service! I've been unable to access my online banking for months. Every time I contact support, I get transferred from one person to another, with no solution provided. I keep receiving the same answers, but the issue remains unresolved.

I deposited in credit card payment on 12.06.2026 Aed 10500 (500*21) and the same time machine hang and they asked put the claim amount i put the claim amount and credited 17.06.2026 amount credited Aed 4000 .I dont understand what is this 4000.Many calls to customer care and they told me investigation going on worst service .

Approved Payment Deferment Ignored – 17 Days Without Resolution

I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I have received. My loan payment deferment was approved by the bank, yet the installment was still deducted from my account. I have been following up daily for the past 17 days through customer service and have received no resolution, no meaningful updates, and no indication of when the issue will be corrected.

The incorrect deduction has caused financial stress and negatively affected my account. What is most concerning is not only the original error but the lack of communication and urgency in resolving it. As a long-standing customer, I expected much better service and support.

I hope this review reaches someone who can assist, as repeated attempts to resolve this matter through normal channels have been unsuccessful.

I got an approval one and a half month…

I got an approval one and a half month ago to top up my personal loan which was taken already from your bank, and until now my money didn’t reflect in my account, as I should start paying the first payment on the end of the coming month while I didn’t get the cash yet, this is really unprofessional as even the loan applier is not answering me and doesn’t care, and the best part is that I can see that I have a new loan showing on the app,
I wish I didn’t proceed with this bank and transferred my salary to a different bank to get a better treatment

Dear Emirates NBD,

I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding a missing refund/reversal transaction.

On 9 June, AED 152 was deducted from my account for a purchase with Namshi. The order was cancelled immediately after purchase. I have only received a refund of AED 79.

Namshi claims that the remaining AED 73 was reversed/refunded, however this amount does not appear in my account statement and I have not received the funds.

I request that Emirates NBD investigate this transaction and confirm whether any reversal, refund, or authorization release for AED 73 was received or processed on my account. If no such transaction exists, please provide written confirmation so that I may escalate the matter further with the merchant.

I have already contacted Namshi multiple times, but they continue to refer me back to the bank without providing sufficient proof of the alleged refund.

I would appreciate your assistance and a formal response regarding the status of the missing AED 73.

NBD bank is currently aggressively…

NBD bank is currently aggressively pursuing me through the UK courts to repossess my home. I am a 71 year old pensioner, living in an ex council house and have never had an account with NBD. My husband had a credit card with them whilst we lived in Dubai for a short while. They refused to pay out on the mandatory PPI when he was made redundant and have added over £20,000 in interest charges - more than double the original debt.

Unfortunate bad experience at rhe…

Unfortunate bad experience at rhe Branch. Zero empathy by the assistant branch manager. Zero care on why a 3 minute service required a 60 minute wait. And Zero regards if a customer wants to cancel rhe account. We really dont need humans afterall and an AI bot based IVR could do as the humans in the service industry do not care. This does not align with the vision of UAE.

Incompentent

They could not be more incompentent. From the simple to the complicated EmiratesNBD cannot do it. If you want to access your online account - they make it hard. If you want a reply to an email, they automate it incorrectly. If you want to receive money they delay it. If you want to speak to your personal bank manager they are never available. I loathe interacting with them. They offer nothing. I am moving my account.

It has been two months since I reported…

It has been two months since I reported an overcharge and requested a refund, yet the issue remains unresolved despite my
continuous follow-ups. I keep receiving the same promises, but no actual action has been taken.
This level of customer service is extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
Customers should not have to chase repeatedly just to get updates on their own
money. I hope the bank takes complaints more seriously and improves its response and resolution process.

Horrible customer service

Worst call from one of the loan collectors .
I lost my job during the Iran issue.So I told Emirates NBD collection team that I am looking for a job and wouldn't be able to pay for my montjy loan installment.
So they called me today and I told them im still looking.
The guy got so angry and said id have to look for the money whichever way possible
I asked for a restructure he said they dont do that

I asked for a deferment he said its up to the bank
So I asked what should I do as I didn't have a job yet. He again stated go look gor the money whichever way as its the banks policy

I politely asked him if he was done with the call as he had not helped me at all.
Worst customer service and lack of compassion or empathy.
My colleagues who also lost their jobs have gotten so much support from their banks with immediate restructure even without jobs.
Ive been with Emirates NBD since 2002 and their lack of customer relations is uphauling.
Horrible experience today 1/6/2026 shame Emirates NBD.

Extreme stingy bank with zero technical…

Extreme stingy bank with zero technical capacity. DO NOT even come close to them if they offer you free money. They will keep degrading credit cards benefits to worse after you get them. Bank with ADCB,ADIB instead. Be careful with any subsidiary of this bank also

I closed an account 3 years ago with this bank and my old card is still getting ‘declined’ charges from some fraudster. They do not know how to close a card. The app has been full of glitches for years . There is no technical know how.

I joined the bank again for a credit card, they reopened the ‘closed’ online account for some reason instead of starting a new one. Meaning they kept my data without my consent

They make you wait an average of 30-60 minutes on any call. Please do not entertain the AI chat system, it is useless and sole purpose is to block connection to the customer service agent. If you don’t have unlimited calls be prepared to pay at least 15 aed utility fees to contact the bank for any issue whatsoever

Do not expect any branch to help you expect to sell a product (which you can usually buy yourself online). They will make you wait for 30-60 minutes and say that you have to call the call centre for any technical issues

Now to the credit card, I fulfilled the bonus criteria , I called the bank, to double check the statements and make sure all my payments were eligible, they said yes you have fulfilled it but we don’t know why you didn’t receive any bonus on your credit card. They put me on hold after saying two minutes wait. But two minutes equals 15 minutes

They cannot even do buy side banking. Do not let them manage your funds or do money exchange. They have poor credit rating relative to risk compared to ADCB/ADIB. And a culture of consumer negligence.

AVOID LIV BANK (EMIRATES NBD) – ZERO SECURITY!


My card was hit with AED 9K in unauthorized digital wallet fraud. Liv Bank completely abandoned me, sending a lazy, copy-pasted rejection letter addressed to a completely different customer name ("Mr. Julius")!
They are flatly violating UAE Central Bank Notice 2025/3057, which holds banks 100% financially liable for SMS-OTP wallet fraud. Because they hid the technical data, I have been forced to escalate this to an active criminal prosecution with the Dubai Police and Dubai Public Prosecution.
Save yourself a massive legal nightmare. Do not trust this bank with your hard-earned money!

Customer service incompetent at understanding issues! They will make your life hell if you wish to transfer money out!

This bank is borderline scam! Try any bank but this one!! There’s a reason the reviews are this low!!
