Really HATE the new formula!

I have used Estee Lauder Double Wear makeup exclusively for over 40 years. This week I purchased what I thought was my regular EL double-wear makeup. No one mentioned to me that the formula had recently been changed. I literally HATE this new formula. It's sticky all day. I use EL Primer and then apply my foundation. Sometimes (mostly in summer) I use double-wear powder for reduction of shine. But have had to begin using powder every day. However, the stickiness is still there. The make up gets on my hands if I touch my face, my hair sticks to my face, makeup gets on my glasses and it's difficult to remove from the frame, so overall, I want the original Double Wear Makeup back! I did find out that you can purchase the original makeup on the EL website until quantities are gone....not real helpful at $52 a pop!

new estée lauder formula absolutely terrible

as a customer of estée lauder double wear foundation for the last 15 years,it’s the only thing that has ever made me feel confident with my skin,even thought the price is higher,i didn’t mind paying that little bit extra for a quality product that worked for me when i have tried so many products that don’t work and do not compare to this but very recently i bought a brand new bottle which is supposed to be their new style bottle and formula and it was absolutely dreadful and im only putting this so that others don’t waste their money as it is expensive,the formula is just horrendous,sticky,thinner,takes twice as long to do my foundation as you need to use a gallon more to get any coverage and it was so patchy and came off in horrid little bits,im truly disappointed and have no idea why they would change a formula that is a bestseller and has been for years to something like this,its useless,now im going to have to find something that is like this and i dont want to have to waste money finding something with this finish and coverage,what a nightmare,why not keep things the same,poor quality and not worth the money anymore,many people have also said the same

Worst foundation after it's changed the formula!!

I've worn double wear for over 15 years, but I'm really disappointed how they have change the foundation! It does not dry at all as it's so oily and shiny and feels like I don't have no foundation on! It used to be full overage has dry quick and leave a Matt finish but not anymore! I've put my foundation on 5 hours ago as it still feels wet to touch it will not dry at all I've even stood in front of the fan! It looks so shiny! It's not Matte at all anymore and it's so watery what is going on! Will definitely have to look for another foundation now!?

Gutted !!

Gutted !!

I have used double wear for about 17 years .

Today I recieved the new double wear formula. It's awful !!!! It's thin, minimal coverage. It's that tacky and sticky an hour later its sticking to my driving glasses.

Change it back 😱😭.

I literally have just opened my bottle and its awful.

Good morning to my dissapointment a product that I have been using for years now, I was so empressd, happy to pay R800 every 3 month... I used rave about this product to every woman I know.. But I can't say this anymore since they have in proved this base that I have been using for years, what a desater, I am so Un happy with it, it stay sticky all the time and it's doesn't dry up fast and showes no flaws, it now a huge desater I actually hat this Estee Lauder base, I have asked around and a lot of women are very disappointed in this new update base.. And I am only using it now because I paid so much for this... You are going to lose a lot of sales now... It's so sad

Estee Lauder Damaged the Industry

Estee Lauder has really damaged the perfume industry. They are notorious for purchasing other companies and then ruining the brand after the buyout.

They have ruined the Kilian perfume. They have deleted great fragrances, and watered down others.

They have corporatized women's perfume and ruined the industry. Awful.

New double wear Matt foundation - waste of money

I’m a faithful purchaser of double wear foundation and have recently purchased their supposedly new and improved Matt foundation. It’s not improved, it’s awful 😞 it rubs off, feels sticky and clammy on my face. Each time I go to rub my face, it crumbles under my fingers. I’ve started developing small white heads on my face in 72 hours and in all honesty, my face feels dirty. Who am earth gave this the thumbs up in testing, it’s not Matt and extending the wear by another 12 hours is a joke. It took me years to find the perfect foundation and I already spend a lot of money on Estée Lauder products to make sure my face is looked after so the extra skin care benefits have totally ruined it for me. If there’s anyone out there that can recommend a foundation that’s comparable to the original formulae, I’m all ears as my last hope is ordering a years supply from a site selling the older formulas to save my sanity.

Return items is a 23 mile trip … rediculous

I have thought highly of Estée Lauder Stay In Place for many years now. Their customer service was great helping me as my complexion had paled as I aged a little and as I lived about 50 miles from any shop that would test my colour. I couldn’t fault them at all.
However, the postage system seems to have changed recently, so to return a product I have to travel 23 miles to the nearest Yodel drop of centre because there is no alternative. I wouldn’t mind if I was returning as my own decision but as the concealer doesn’t actually match the foundation that it should it is Estée Lauder’s fault for saying on the website that the colour of concealer would match my foundation when it does not.
I will now have to stop buying other items from Estée Lauder because I cannot return items.

Estee Lauder: My worst experience. Very disappointed

Very disappointed. When I realised that my parcel was stolen by Evri, I contacted them. They replied that I needed to wait for 14 days. They don't put the customer first. After 14 days, the customer service replied that they couldn't sent me a replacement because the products were out of stock!I was mentally stressed because I needed the products.

Worst experience for Estée Lauder

The worst experience for Estée Lauder customer service. NEVER BELIEVE THAT THEY PUT THE CUSTOMER FIRST. When I contacted them after my packages were stolen, I got the rudest and most cruel response. I lost my packages and also was mentally hurt by their so-called supervisor.

Disappointing Customer Service

I placed an order and never received the products. After contacting customer service, the items were reshipped, but one product was missing because it had been discontinued. Unfortunately, I was never informed of this upfront.

What made the experience worse was having to call three separate times just to finally get a refund for the discontinued item that was never shipped. If your order has any issues, good luck getting it resolved—it takes a lot of time and effort.

If you still want Estée Lauder products, I strongly recommend not ordering directly from their online store. There are too many headaches when something goes wrong. You’re better off buying from stores like Macy’s or Nordstrom, where customer service is much better.

At this point, I’m not even sure I’ll continue buying their products. There are plenty of other brands out there that are better priced and offer great customer service. Think twice before spending your hard-earned money.

disappointing

disappointing they sell the matte powder in deep amber but do not sell the refill in the deep amber shade for (black women). I've also noticed they do not stock this colour at boots, john Lewis and other departments. Seems strange that they stock all the lighter shades but not the darker ones. There are other makeup lines that cater for all skin tones and, do not stock some and, remove others. I will stick to those.

I used to love this foundation and used…

I used to love this foundation and used it for years; however, recently something has changed and it's really bad now. The texture is chalky, it doesn't blend and it becomes patchy. Also, not to many the colour that is not the same anymore.
I'm so sad and disappointed now.

My order was lost through delivery. I called customer service and they give me number to call delivery company. Worst customer service and worst company ever. I couldn’t believe, how rude they were. Customer is nothing to them. Just give them money and be quiet, even if you don’t receive order.

Never shipped order.

I ordered from Estee Lauder online and paid for shipping Thanksgiving weekend. Never received so I called December 15th. They never shipped the order, have no reason why and cannot tell me expected arrival date on phone. They said they will email me a ship date. The item is and has been in stock. Very disappointing customer service. I will not be purchasing Estee Lauder products moving forward.
