This company is dreadful

This company is dreadful. The salesman promises all sorts of things. Once you sign up with them, they then pass your account to an account manager who promptly denies most of what the salesman promised. They are completely useless! We have a number of debts which they promised to cover, but now refuse to do so. They owe us in the region of £40k! Also, for interest, whilst we probably won't be renewing our insurance with them, our renewal date has passed and they still haven't even sent me the draft renewal documents. Please do not use this company!

Possibly one of the most unethical…

Possibly one of the most unethical companies we have dealt with. They will find every excuse not to pay claims. After we filed 5 claims they provided us judgement on only one 1/5 and by the time they deducted our copay and revenues excess invoice we actually ended up owing them money. We proceeded to cancel our renewal. Upon doing so they retaliated by contacting our vendors and telling them that they would not support any claims. It is unfortunate that they are allowed to operate in this manner but given they are a trillion dollar company many have a hard time standing up against the giant and injustice.

Wanted to put a zero in as well..only care about contrac

Wanted to put a zero in as well. We use euler hermes only when all the other options are runing out. We pay a significant amount of money for this last resort and even go to court so that we do not have to use them...We had two cases where they are working with subcontractors that represent them in specific countries. Those subcontractors took decisions for us (that we would have not taken), resulting in real big losses for us..not for them. We had this experience twice. We therefore wanted not renew the contract we had with them. The contract comes up for renewal once a year. The date passed just by 4 days and they did not want to cancel it....after being a customer paying their bills correctly ...for 9 years!!!

Would of left zero but that is not an…

Would of left zero but that is not an option

Refuted bad rep on Hermes but today have experienced an incident which has sickened me to the core by paying for up to 1Kg on consignment 6013875253473286 which I know was less than 70% of that weight and advised it was 1.3Kg and charged £1.20 plus £3.00 admin.costs

Alli sent was a 28mm lens on a minimal amount of bunnle wrap in a cat food box the lens weighed just under 350g and the packing 220g.
Borrowed the same lens from a friend and packed it in exactly the same manor and even wrapped it in brown paper and pasted on a piece of paper the size of their label and it came to 610g which is funnily enough 1.35 ibs not Kgs and mine are accurate to one tenth of a gram and tested weekly with a certified test weight

They claim that their machines are infallible as to calibration but if a foreign object is on the belt at the time it would corrupt it

Have paid their bill for their incorrect assertion and will be contacting trading standards as a matter on principle and am accessing whether to ever deal with them again .

Smashing service

I've just taken out advance payment protection insurance for our company. I really struggled to get help elsewhere and Euler Hermes have been great answering my queries and trying to get things sorted for many weeks. My contact Stuart A.(Commercial Business Consultant) has been brilliant. He's put up with my endless questions, religiously kept his promises and responded when he said he would and I couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you very much!
