Booked and paid for a workshop, discovered the day before that the booking had not been processed and no longer any spaces available. Awaiting refund. Very disappointing, wouldnt try booking anything in the future.

I took my daughter to a butterfly families day at Field Studies Council Amersham in August 2025. We took our own packed lunch & spent the whole day at the centre, looking at insects, doing some arts & crafts & following a woodland trail with a number of activities on. We even found a little frog! My 6 year old daughter loved the day as much as I did. The staff were very knowledgeable & professional. We could park our car on site, the toilet facilities were clean & we will definitely be going back! The low price was well worth the day we had.

I have attended FSC courses online for years and they are always excellent, whether they are one off talks or actual courses. I would highly recommend.

Ive been on a few courses run by the FSC over the years, they have all proved good value and brilliant fun. learning with a group of like minded adults in a relxed setting. Tutors have always been knowledgable and experienced in the media taught, with expert tuition skills.
Accommodation, though more basic at some centers, is always warm and comfortable. Usually of Youth Hostel style and standards, not hotel star rated. This keeps prices down to being affordable for most.
