Very helpful and easy to use
I’ve had a really good experience with FIXD. It’s easy to use, straightforward, and has been genuinely helpful when I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with my car. I like being able to see the codes and get a better understanding of what they mean instead of just guessing. I haven’t had any issues with the app or the device, and it’s definitely saved me time and made diagnosing problems a lot easier. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes working on their own car or just wants to know what’s going on before taking it to a shop.

BUYER BEWARE! Deceitful Charges for Subscription!
BUYER BEWARE!
I purchased the Fix’d OBD-II scan tool for $ 21.19, including tax from an advertisement on Facebook on August 22, 2026. On September 5th, Fix’d presented a $105.99 charge to my credit card for what I assume are subscription charges. I carefully read the entire advertisement for the Fix’d scan device before I purchased it, and NOWHERE did it mention a recurring subscription fee!
This is beyond deceptive, it is THEFT! Thankfully, Apple flagged the transaction and I was able to decline the payment before it was honored.
DO NOT BUY THE FIX’D SCAN TOOL!
They will use your credit card to steal money from your credit card. I can’t put it more simply than that.

Aside from the deceptive tactics and hidden high subscription fees, the app can't recognise the type and model of the car, it can't diagnose faults other than standard engine faults such as tyre pressure sensor fault and many others.. Definitely not worth the money!!!

The scanner is ripping off people with thousands of dollars better yet, if your browsing for the item FIXD and you put it in the basket in the cart and you don’t remove it out of there for whatever reason they will automatically process the purchase for you, if you have a PayPal or other type of payment with your related information, they’ll process the payment without you clicking process then they’ll put you on a monthly subscription that you can never finish canceling. It’s a hassle and it’s a scam. Do not buy this item.

It is very difficult to get rid of FIXD
It is very difficult to get rid of FIXD. You think you are canceling, then comes a request to think it over, then another, a total of about 10 nagging pages, and then you close the last page by cancelling (yet again) and then you think it’s done. But no, a little later ANOTHER email to think it over once more: if you don’t see or respond to that email, your membership will continue for another year. This is not the way a self-respecting firm should behave. Furthermore, the little device indicates that everything is fine while the engineblock light is on. The thing just doesn’t work!

This is more of a Scamming app not a scanning app I bought this to check out my car's info but after I realized I needed a subscription to do so I cancelled my order and FIXD refunded me. Ok cool, but then 2 weeks later I get charged $108 for a subscription I never agreed to?? Then they make you go through 10 pages of special offers to try to keep you paying for it before you can actually cancel your subscription! Even offering as low as $36 for the whole year! Like wow, just charge that then guys NOT $108! Just ridiculous! STAY AWAY!
