The company hit a nail through a water…
The company hit a nail through a water pipe on the floor, which caused a leak under the floor boards and severe water damage to the flat below. The job itself is still unfinished.
I had to incur costs myself for an emergency plumber fix and despite calling Mr Sander head office on numerous occasions to report this and seek the insurance details to cover the issue, I have not received a call back nor a timeframe to be called back.
In addition, I was told by other residents in the building the works people were spitting on the drive way and dropping smoking buts.
Whilst hitting a pipe may happen, I still do not have a resolution, finished floor and I’m out of pocket as a result of hiring this company.
I’m incredibly disappointed at the lack of urgency to fix such a huge problem such as a water leak to me and my neighbours.

To be clear for anyone reading this, we fully accept that our communication with you during the quotation stage was not good enough. You contacted us for a quote, there was a delay in our response during a very busy office period, and I personally apologised to you directly for that. That part is on us, and we should have handled your enquiry more promptly.
However, it is also important to clarify that Mr Sander® did not carry out any work at your property, no visit took place, no booking was made, no payment was taken, and no floor restoration service was provided to you. Your review therefore relates to a delayed quotation enquiry, not the quality of our workmanship or how we treat a customer’s home during an actual project.
We did ask the platform to review the matter because the wording of the review could reasonably lead the public to believe we carried out poor work in your home, which is not the case. That was not an attempt to avoid responsibility for the communication delay, but to ensure the review accurately reflects what happened.
Again, I apologise for the poor communication at enquiry stage. We should have done better, and we have taken that seriously internally. I remain happy to discuss this with you directly and resolve it fairly.

We are delighted with the works carried out by this company on our flooring refurbishment and staircase, its a big job to undertake so you really need to trust the company you choose, I am so pleased we chose correctly. Old pine floorboards transformed!
Really happy with the work Filip did on my old pine floorboards. He knew exactly what he was doing and gave me great advice on the best treatment to bring them back to life. You can tell he’s got loads of experience with older floors — he handled everything with care and confidence.
The difference in the rooms is amazing. The boards look completely transformed, and the whole place feels brighter and fresher. He was friendly, easy to have around, and clearly takes pride in doing a proper job.
Would definitely recommend him to anyone thinking about getting their floors done.

Incredible workmanship!
Ivan did an incredible job on our floors. They were in a terrible state, with peeling floorboards and uneven levels.
His team removed the old floors and used sister joists to level and strengthen the structure. They then added acoustic padding and insulation, topped with engineered herringbone. The result is an excellent quality, beautiful floor that will last for generations.
It was a tricky project, with lots of small problems. Ivan and the team gave us honest, constructive advice. They explained the issues and solutions clearly. And they put in the work to tackle even the tiniest detail with precision and care.
We are really happy with the end result and are sharing the contact with all our friends.
