Great platform for wellbeing businesses
I signed up to Fresha to manage bookings and client intakes for my new massage studio. The entire experience and support (shout out to Rinor in the support team) has been amazing and the benefit of a strong marketplace has drawn new clients to my business. The platform and UI is so easy to use and manage appointments, marketing campaigns and client loyalty, at a fraction of the cost of other platforms I’ve tried. I highly recommend for any wellbeing business.
Freasha are not very good for my beauty…
Freasha are not very good for my beauty Bussiness . I went with them for a little while . Then closed my account . As you have to pay for extra features for the app .
They have still been letting clients book in and try taken money out of my account. It’s good that the client contacted me before their treatment . As I could have ended up with a double booking . I think they are very unprofessional . They don’t even listen with business owners . I won’t be using them again!

I am new to Fresha and it has been an absolute nightmare trying to get bank accounts to connect, understanding what I’m being charged and why. I was about to change what I was using until I tried the live chat and Ereza was AMAZING!! They answered my millions of questions and didn’t make me feel bad for not knowing anything. I feel much more confident now in using this company to handle my clients. THANK YOU EREZA!
Jack was so helpful…
Jack was so helpful with me getting my business information updated! I had first received an email about updating my business phone number and I had totally forgot to update my new location too. So I emailed him back and right away he responded and helped update the new address for my business and added a link for my website. So helpful!

0 stars. Fresha completely ripped me off a couple of years ago with fees I didn’t even owe. I proved - with evidence - that I didn’t owe them, yet instead of refunding me to my bank account, they just credited the money (around £300) to my Fresha account and refused to return it properly.
Now they’ve decided to start charging £15 per month. The customer service was appalling throughout, and the person supposedly “helping” me actually tried to get me to write a positive review before confirming I wouldn’t get my money back.
Don’t believe the good reviews and don’t go near this company. I changed careers, but if I still ran my business, I wouldn’t give Fresha another penny. Writing this in October 2025 after receiving yet another reminder about their new monthly fee.
An absolute disgrace of a company

ThaExcellent and thoughtful support from Fresha Team!nk you so much
Thank you so much, Badema and the Fresha Customer Experience Team, for the clear and professional explanation. Your response helped us fully understand how the Client Loyalty and reward redemption system currently works.
We truly appreciate your patience and detailed guidance — it shows great care for your partners.
Everything is now clear on our end, and we look forward to future updates that may include the “auto issue” or “self-claim” reward options, which would make the feature even more seamless for both salons and clients.
Thank you again for your excellent support and kindness

I've been using Fresha for two years…
I've been using Fresha for two years and hadn't had many problems with the site other than not being able to add more information on SMS reminder messages that I pay for per client.
Then recently I just got notifications coming through that we are now going to have to subscribe £14.95 a month to continue using their site and so my account will not be deleted. I already pay £6 a month for SMS reminder messages so with this payment on top it'll be over £20 which is a very big difference for a small single person business. I'm extremely disappointed that they haven't added an option to continue on the pay as you go version that I currently use. If it meant I didn't get to receive the marketing emails and 24/7 support, I would be completely fine with that as I have used neither in two years anyway. I will now be looking for an alternate option to fit in with my monthly budget for outgoings.

Great Customer service at a busy time
I was disappointed when I learned that Fresha are to change to a subscription service on 1st November. I do understand as this will certainly be beneficial for larger and busier businesses.
As a very small home beauty studio I had to choose not to move to the new system as it will be a bit too costly and I’ve obtained a better deal from my website company.
However, I had a question for Fresha Customer service before the changeover.
My communication was with a very helpful advisor called Redon.
After several very helpful and professional emails - together we successfully resolved my query.
So I have to say, at a very busy time for Fresha - Redon did an excellent job in supporting me even though I had decided to move.
I wish Fresha and its team the very best in its new business model.
Thank you
Elaine
Elhami saved the day
Elhami saved the day! When trying activate my plan it appeared that my whole app was wiped, money, client appts, the lot! Having not been able to sort it I ended up paying for the premium just to get my questions answered real time but elhami retrieved it all- we are emailing back and forth to get this rectified but I’m so happy with the outcome! Panic over

Sneaky fees
Fresha are sneakily bringing in more and more fees to use their apparent ‘free’ platform.
I get charged ridiculously high transaction fees compared to sumup etc
They charge £9.95 for each staff member
and now a 20% fee for each new client that books in.
Stop advertising your system as free and charge a set fee to make it easier for businesses.

Doing nothing about error in system meaning "new" clients can't book in is ruining my transition to new shop and costing me half pay
Right now with what ever is going on fresha is not fit for purpose.
(I put this review up 1 month before and it got deleted for some reason, was hoping to fix with Fresha but there has been even more issues they seem to be doing nothing about meaning people literally can’t book in with me and the seem not to care)
Recently moved to a new salon with most my client following.
Multiple clients a day are contacting me saying they cant book in as the payment isn't being excepted, with some who have, sayin they had to try for 30min, some even over a few days to get it to work. My previous salon worked on Fresha so this are all people who have used it before
I have even replicated this issue my self with friends and across multiple bank card, and it ranges from not showing the 2 step authentication to saying the 2 step failed on cards I then went on another app all cards worked perfectly, also saying they have to wait 20min for payment to go through after which nothing happens.
Freshas solutions was they have to call their bank to tell them to accept payments from them
If a payment system requires a client to phone up their bank to use it, it has completely failed at its purpose. Also this is also happening with Apple Pay which is an already confirmed payment source.
Since no help was coming from them I tried by own workaround and spent hours entering my clients details and turning off their need for prepayment.. Unfortunately due to the terrible Fresha system there is also an error there where it is still asking for a deposit!!!
And guess what… again they are doing nothing about this!!!!!
At a stressful and delicate time of moving salons and trying to make it as seemless as possible for clients they are all getting fed up with being unable to actually book in.
And I'm almost certainly losing clients who are not contacting me after having such a difficult time!
I have already lost hundreds of pounds and if this continues I worry that I may end up in financial difficulty because despite having clients wanting to book in they physical can’t due to a broken app!

Adding a subscription fee is…
Adding a subscription fee is ridiculous, especially when you’re already charging vendors a 20% marketplace commission that takes a massive chunk of our profit. I’ve used Fresha for over 10 years — long before it even changed its name to Fresha — and it’s genuinely disappointing to see how far it’s drifted from supporting independent professionals.
What started as an amazing free platform for small businesses has turned into yet another money-grab that prices out the very people who helped make it successful. Between the new monthly fee and the marketplace commission, it’s simply not worth it anymore.
After a decade of loyalty, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

No customer service
Extremely disappointed with this platform/service. First time tried, didn't even complete the set up as I found it complicated. An unexpected customer came through, not even through Fresha marketplace but through my own social media! The appointment didn't even take place as I was out of the country at the time, the price for my service was incorrect as I was only just playing around with the settings and features, and then bam! I get charged 20% plus vat for my "new client". Didn't get a single response from fresha "customer service" to my numerous emails. I ended up reporting the incident to my bank to try and get my money back. What a scam.

New Fees
Fresha have all of a sudden started charging ridiculous fees. Not only is there a monthly charge but also a 20% find on marketplace charge. It needs to be 1 or the other guys. I do not need half of the things Fresha does under the paid system, I am a small 1 stylist salon just reopening, therefore it is not really viable. I received good help from Erika, but have already started looking for a new booking platform. As have a lot of salons I know. Fresha was amazing. The monthly fee is understandable but not with the additional fees they have.
