Fresh Approach in Maidenhead - Highly recommended.

Christiaan was very knowledgeable and was happy to explain all aspects of the design, build and finish of our large extension project. In High Wycombe.

The very detailed quote we received was a breath of fresh air compared to the 1-2 page brief quotes we obtained from other builders. He gave detailed cost breakdowns, build timelines, critical issues that may need further investigation, and a clear agreement process regarding any changes that may need to take place. (We changed the patio and landscaping and agreed to the increased cost after a firm price quote from Christiaan to reflect the change from the initial project scope).

On the whole, we found the whole experience to be a low-stress event over the 3 months. We found Fresh Approach to be a quality operation. We love the finish and attention to detail Christiaan showed throughout the project. Look at the Fresh Approach design & build website to see our extension.

Cowboy builder.
Shakeel fitted a PVC window for me and plastered on the inside wall.
On completion, the window leaks water into the house from all 4 sides when it rains. The outside brick work is smothered in cement and looks terrible. The wall was not even plastered straight and was totally uneven. I had to call another plasterer who had to re-plaster the whole wall again.
I rang Shakeel and told him about the really poor quality work. He had already been paid so was not interested in fixing anything. He now doesn’t answer my phone or reply to texts. Once he answered by mistake and immediately hung up on me when I spoke.
Two of Shakeel’s builder friends (Ibrar and Saleem) came to my house and I showed them the window/plastering. Even they were laughing at Shakeel, saying what a cowboy job!
I suggest you pay a bit more and get a proper, professional builder, who is not dishonest.
